  1. I would love Cedar Fair to buy Darien Lake, they would make the park so nice. But then comes the challenge of re-naming the coasters....Cedar Fair is a little more original, so I doubt that they would rename Ride of Steel to Top Thrill Dragster or Mind Eraser to Rougarou or Viper to Flight Deck....
  2. I always wanted Bizarro to have restraints like i305, those are SUPER comfortable.
  3. Flight of Fear at KD is probably my third or fourth favorite coaster at the park, and I agree. It already has quite a rattle to it, I can't imagine how HORRIBLE it would have been with the OSTRs. I wish Anaconda had restraints like Sidewinder at Hershey, so I wouldn't have to worry about possibly rupturing my jugular and bleeding to death on that weird-ass helix thing. I'd like the ride a LOT more if it had that kind of restraint.
  4. Also, it depends on how the park impliments it. I mean, Splish Splash in Calverton made a mess by making their Qbot system a complete free for all. Hershey and Cedar Fair's system works great though. It really doesn't clog up the regular line.
  5. I'll start of this threat with an example. Mean Streak, it's earned quite a reputation of a rough, non enjoyable, painful coaster. But it's one of those coasters where you can just tell that there is a good coaster trying to come out, and you wish that a coaster manufacturer like RMC would make said bad coaster realize it's full potential. Hell, I even think that Ninja at SFOG and Gouderix wouldn't be that bad if certain adjustments were made, such as new trains with those vest-like restraints that don't bang your head....As far as Manhattan Express goes, I doubt it....Part of me really says that it may be a lost cause....
  6. Looks fun, but it also looks MURDER on the swinging chassis of the train.
  7. The one I went on wasn't brutal....It was just absolutely nothing to write home about.
  8. I really wouldn't have a problem with McKamey Manor if Russ and his wife would drop this extremely dangerous "once you go in, you can't go out" thing and implement a safeword system where if someone has had enough of the torture, they can withdraw consent and the monsters will notify each other to stop the haunt. Even the most brutal of all BDSM practicioners have a safeword. Honestly, McKamey Manor doesn't seem like a haunted house, it just seems like a test of how much physical, emotional, and mental stress can we put on a person? It seems like a combination of a POW Camp simulation and an uber-brutal S&M club.
  9. I have never heard such BLASTPHEMY about my favorite coaster!!! Anyway, why do you think it's so brutal. Ever since the drop and turn was reprofiled and they took the trims off, I305 has turned from an overrated gimmicky coaster to a fun, twisty, X-TREME, airtime machine!
  10. Oh My God. How could I forget that Piece of Junk. I never rode it with the Original Vekoma Trains but the Arrow trains don't save it. If It's smoother with those GASM trains, I feel for Georgia. Replace it With Scream from SFMM and make us all happy. I think Ninja would be so much better if it had lapbars. Or restraints like Sidewinder. Let me tell you, the new train on Sidewinder made a world of difference. It turned a mediocre and rough Vekoma Boomerang into at least breaking into the top 7 coasters in the park. Say what you want about Vekomas, when a park knows how to take care of them, they can be a TON of fun.
  11. 19 years old And my first coaster was Vapor Trails at Sesame Place when I was either 3 or 4 years old. My first coaster was a Vekoma, so it make sense why I don't mind coasters like Anaconda and Shockwave at KD, I was desensitized at a young age
  12. 1994 1. Nemesis at Alton Towers 2. Raptor at Cedar Point 3. Pepsi Max Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach
  13. I like the Cobra Roll and Norwegian loop of Fahrenheit, the loop on Sidewinder going through reverse, and the loop on SooperDooperLooper.
  14. Wow...All I got to say is, this is the true epitome of "to add insult to injury". I mean, you have people scared out of their minds, enduring all kinds of physical abuse and psychological horror, and we have Russ not just bullying, but verbally and physically abusing people who've had enough and want to quit. Mark my words, it'll probably only take one suicide or one major PTSD case to shut this haunt down.
  15. I don't know who it was, but there was a really funny ride op on Griffon at BGE. I think he said "Remember, on Griffon, screaming is not only allowed, it's encouraged. So when you reach the top of that first hill, don't be afraid to let out a nice big SCREAM! EEEEEEEEEEKKKK!"
  16. http://rcdb.com/368.htm# Roller Coaster at Chippewa Park in Ontario, Canada....Its interesting in the way that it may be a steel coaster, but it looks just like a wooden family coaster. It was removed in 2011 and I've heard some pretty nasty rumors about roughness that rivaled that of Manhattan Express and Mean Streak...Did anyone on this forum ride it?
  17. The owner of the park built that totally on his own, so major props.
  18. 1. Intimidator 305 2. Skyrush 3. Stormrunner 4. Millennium Force 5. Maverick 6. Lightning Racer 7. Steel Force 8. Volcano- The Blast Coaster 9. Great Bear 10. Flight of Fear Honorable Mentions 1. Hydra-The Revenge 2. Magnum XL-200 3. Coney Island Cyclone 4. Fahrenheit 5. Gemini
  19. Yes, those children did a great job with the park. Oh.....you didn't just say that... Anyway, as much as I love the launched coaster, I'm dying to see how the new Intamin Looper will operate. Hoping that maybe the states will get something similar.
  20. Grizzly at Kings Dominion and Lightning Racer at Hersheypark....Let me tell you something, I love no lines as much as everyone else, but I find roller coasters to be more fun if more people are screaming along with you...
  21. I wonder why Darien hasn't even thought about building it....
  22. I must say, I never seen someone start their own fictional coaster manufacturer in No Limits. So you definitely get originality points there. Also, it really seems like MCC is trying to bring back that good classic out and back PTC woodie style, kinda seems like the polar antithesis of RMC. RMC aims to go where no woodie has gone before while MCC preserves the classic feel of a woodie.
  23. A brand new B&M Flyer being demolished in it's first week to make way for a used TOGO looping coaster from Japan. What's worse than the Coney Island Cyclone being demolished to make way for a pinfari Zyklon?
  24. Definitley Hurler at KD. This year it was rickety but fun, last year it was absolutely unbearable.
  25. I loved RCT3, so if this is like RCT3 with some cool new features, I'd be cool with it.
