  1. Too bad it hasn't been destroyed by an airstrike yet... I kid, I kid... TOO SOON. I'm sorry? There is a disclaimer, you know: You know I was kidding, right?
  2. SBNO? Try never even BUILT! The pieces of that coaster are still sitting there to this day. Anyways, I popped my Intamin cherry on Possessed at Dorney Park when it was still Voodoo.
  3. Too bad it hasn't been destroyed by an airstrike yet... I kid, I kid... TOO SOON.
  4. You get that a lot at parks. I mean, the first time I went to BGW, someone said that on Alpengeist "DID YOU KNOW THAT ONE OF THE CARTS FELL OFF THE TRACK AFTER THE TWISTY PART (I'm assuming he meant the zero-g-roll) AND SOMEONE DIED ON THIS RIDE?!"
  5. I have an interesting idea.... Mantis becoming the very first B&M Multi-coaster! What I mean is that Mantis will have three separate trains with different features. A sitdown train, a stand-up train, and a floorless train. Three different kind of trains, three different ride experiences.
  6. Drachen Fire was to be made by B&M, but Busch went with Arrow to build the coaster instead. The layout design for Drachen Fire was inspired by B&M. Frankly I think that Drachen Fire would have been a better coaster and still around if it was build by B&M instead of Arrow. So in other words Drachen Fire was not a B&M coaster! My brain just hatched a great idea for BGW's future..... Drachen Fire rebuilt as a B&M Wing Coaster...Complete with a keyhole element through the cutback and the diving corkscrew in place. Der Drache Kehrt or The Dragon Returns.....
  7. Saturday was rough, however the following Sunday was fantastic.
  8. Oh my God.... I'm sorry, but math is THE DEVIL.
  9. I have a few coaster books from circa 1998 and the early 2000s. And every time I flip through them, I'm like "Ok, this is gone, this is gone, that's gone, this one got RMC'd, this one got relocated, Geauga's gone, Astroworld's gone."
  10. I'd rather they name it "Fury 145"
  11. This past Sunday wasn't too bad. Skyrush had a 20 minute wait at opening, but later it died town to a 5 minute wait. Everything in the back was pretty much 5 minutes or less and Fahrenheit was about 30 minutes. These were probably even less later on. Skyrush from what I experienced, ranged from a 15-20 minute wait to a complete walk-on that Sunday. Stormrunner had almost no line (SCORE!!) and shockingly, Sidewinder was also a walk-on. (Sidewinder and Farenheit don't have the best capacity, mind you.) In years past, Lighting Racer was always a walk-on and Wildcat had a wait....this time both GCIs were walk-ons. And let me tell you something about Wildcat, it's a fun ride....albeit pretty rough....but I'm sorry to say but with Lightning Racer in the park, it really has no reason to be at the park anymore. It's not a one-of-a-kind attraction for Hersheypark anymore. Lightning Racer has proven itself to be the superior GCI....It's like if Six Flags Great Adventure got a second B&M Invert that was more like Banshee or Alpengeist but they kept Batman-The Ride....That's exactly how I feel about Wildcat at Hershey. Honestly, Hershey really ought to think about RMC for Wildcat...Its a fun ride as is, but making it into "The Steel Cougar" or something like that would make it a one-of-a-kind once again.
  12. I'd assume that because its after labor day, all the Sundays are like that.
  13. The crowds were okay on Saturday, but very good on Sunday....All Sunday morning, EVERYTHING was a walk-on. It got a little crowded in the afternoon, but in the evening, the crowds lightened up once again... The longest line I waited on was Fahrenheit, but that was to be expected. As much as I love the ride, the ride has absolutely repugnant capacity. The trains should have at least had four cars. Not three.
  14. No... it'd be better if we put them on a 500 foot drop tower or 100 inversion roller coaster as their first major ride And then they'll be scarred for life and will forever have reluctance to go on a drop tower......Like I was.... thanks, Dominator at Dorney.
  15. This is a tip for kids that are going to ride their first major coaster..... Don't be a hero, ride a coaster that's comfortable for you, even if it's a family mine train coaster.
  16. I never understood why the Intamin Half Pipe in The Mall of America is named "Avatar Airbender" I mean, they should have named it by the show's full name "Avatar: The Last Airbender-The Ride"
  17. That is such BS. If Americans can't handle intensity, then how come I305 is one of the most loved coasters in the entire country? Btw, I was there on Sunday and I don't care what anyone says, Skyrush is the best coaster in the park and almost as good as I305.
  18. This was an incredibly pleasant conversation I had with someone about inversions vs airtime. The original comment about Goliath at SFGAM That looks to me like it sucks. The whole point of wooden rollercoasters is that it is all about the speed and the rattle and the stomach-dropping hills. The whole point is that they are NOT steel rollercoasters. Loops are boring by definition--they push you into your seat rather than throwing you out. (and that's a bad thing, why? It's a different kind of G-force.) It's fun for the engineers, no fun for the rest of us. If this is the future of rollercoasters, I'm moving back to 1978 where I belong. I've had enough of this stupid century. My response... I got something to ask you. Have you even BEEN on it? His snarky, snide, assholish response. Why? Are you telling me maybe I'm wrong that a loop pushes you into your seat? Please STFU. I started to get annoyed after that... WELL MAYBE, JUST MAYBE YOU SHOULD RIDE THE F***ING COASTER FIRST AND SEE FOR YOURSELF HOW YOU LIKE IT BEFORE YOU GO AROUND AND SAY THAT IT F***ING SUCKS. His response... You my friend are an idiot. My final word. I was sick and tired of arguing with him. No man, YOU'RE the idiot. You're going around spreading all of this vitriol and judgment about a roller coaster that you've never ridden before in your life. How the f*** can you automatically jump to conclusions about a roller coaster before you actually go on it?
  19. If Cedar Fair was an online forum...Dorney Park would be the "dump place"
  20. This should be a wake up call to lose weight, not a demand for larger accommodating restraints. People can be mad about this comment all they want, but it's the truth. And I have been losing weight....I'm just saying that in my experience and others experiences, Cedar Point has the most strict regulations when it comes to size.
  21. Honestly, I feel like compared to other CF parks, Cedar Point's operations could be a little better....Also, don't forget the fact that the size restrictions on the coasters there are much more strict than any other place I've ever been. If you google "Cedar Point fat shaming" and usually the first coaster name that gets brought up is either MF or TTD.
  22. And don't take a picture with it giving the finger.
  23. I heard something VERY similar to that on Stormrunner at Hershey.....
  24. Not every coaster can be i305 or Skyrush...what can you say?
