  1. WOW, over $155 million. I was only about 30 million off in my prediction. I can't wait till Tuesday, when I'll be going to see it for the first time.
  2. At this stage of HRP development it's not even close, Dollywood is a much better park in almost every aspect. IMO Dollywood is a top 10 park (in the US), while HRP is a long way from cracking the top 20. Again, people should give it some time before comparing HRP to any other park.
  3. I've been good, I haven't seen any spoilers. Heck, I don't even know what Two Face looks like after his accident.
  4. ^Please don't. If anyone wants it, could you PM them. Thanks.
  5. Nice job on the PTR, but a little creepy due to the lack of people.
  6. Nicely done, though I still think Wal-mart is evil.
  7. I'll be going Tuesday morning, so I won't be part of the opening weekend totals. ...My guess is 120-130 million come Monday morning.
  8. ^I don't know about that. I think $120-$130 million sounds about right to me. Journey to the Center of the Earth (digital 3-D) 4.0/5.0 It was an enjoyable movie, just not as good as the original. The big selling point for me was the digital 3-D. Very cool. I would suggest seeing it in 3-D, but if you can't then wait till it hits video or HBO.
  9. ^ I had a feeling you would like it. I'm heading to Downtown Disney on Tuesday to see Journey to the Center of the Earth in digital 3-D. ...Should be interesting.
  10. Top 5 for me. 1a.DD-Fire (last row) 1b.DD-Ice (front row) 3.Montu 4.Alpengeist 5a.Afterburn (Carowinds) 5b.Batman-TR
  11. Great TR, JimmyBro. I'm glad you enjoyed the two woodies as much as I did. They are currently #3 and #4 on my favorite woodie list. BTW, did you happen to take a ride on the train? There's a little surprise about half way through. It's a little corny, but still fun. As for room to expand, they definitely have plenty of that on several sides of the park.
  12. Hancock 4.0/5.0 I really enjoyed the movie. A little on the short side, but at least it didn't drag. Overall, it was good and just out of my top 5 for 2008. On a side note, I was really excited to see the new trailer for the new James Bond movie.
  13. Overall, it would have to be Great Adventure for me. I went at least once a year from the early 80's till the late 90's. In the last five years it would have to be BGE first, BGA second, and IOA third.
  14. At least you didn't put the Rangers and Yankees, because the Jest and Knicks are bad enough.
  15. I feel bad for the 10,000 that showed up that weren't part of the special event. I know I wouldn't like waiting in long lines at Kings Dominion.
  16. Working, lucky me.
  17. Wanted 4.8/5.0 This movie totally kicked arse and may very well be my new favorite movie of 2008. Very entertaining and ended way too quick for me. I definitely recommend it to any action movie fan.
  18. No GPS for me, just old fashion mapquest here. While it doesn't always give you the direct route, it has gotten me to the parks every time. ...including Knoebels.
  19. I think Wall-E will be right there with Indy 4, Iron Man, Batman, and Harry Potter for the highest grossing movie(s) of 2008. There's actually a good chance all five movies will top 300 million.
  20. ^That's good to hear. Oh and Nemo is my favorite Pixar movie.
  21. My top 3: 1.TOT (DHS) 2.Splash Mountain (MK) 3.Rock 'n' Roller Coaster (DHS)
  22. That's the second time today you've said that. ...Stop rubbing it in.
  23. Get Smart 4.2/5.0 Just an overall fun movie. IMO it's already been a very good summer season for movies, with my favorites so far being Indy 4, Iron Man, The Hulk, and Get Smart.
  24. I appreciate a great dark ride as much as a great coaster. My favorites: 1a.Spiderman (IOA) 1b.ROTM (USF) 3.TOT (DHS) 4.MIB (USF) 5.Haunted mansion (MK)
  25. If the park gets built, I really hope they stay with this pencil rendering. It looks like it could be a very cool park. I'm just worried they would start cutting corners and we would end up with one average B&M and four mediocre family coasters.
