^We were just talking about this the other day. I prefer this method of night before, next morning/early afternoon. I also had several people on the trip come up to me and say the same. Here are some of the reasons why: - Night rides - Less crowds, better weather at night - Less crowds, better weather in the morning - Avoids the peak day crowds - Avoids the heat of the day - Visit over two days gives more time for maintenance or ride issues Really the only negative we ran into is cost. Most of the parks you have to buy a two day ticket and decide whether to buy one or two day 'fast pass' options.

Final Prediction: It will open months before whatever SFMM does.

Great report! Love that Wave movie! I actually know a couple of people who were considering that full journey as a 'cruise' of sorts. The ship looks nicer than what I would have expected.

It's turned into "Ouch My Balls" for a few years now.

The only positive I can try to imagine from this is that we could see the event go back to two parks or IOA plus soundstages again. I know they always used that show and theater as a crutch and reason/blame for why they couldn't do the event at IOA or both parks. Again, trying to be positive but I know I'm just dreaming.

Seems like park schedules will dictate your trip more than you. I agree with most of what's been said though. Obviously SDC is the only real giant draw out of all the parks mentioned.

^Trust me, I'm super anti-social and I hated having to do it, but if you want the legendaries you pretty much need to have a group somehow. I still haven't gone down the Discord rabbit hole and have had enough luck with Facebook Groups so far.

I am not a fan of the Timberliners and I do not think they would do that ride any good.

^Ha, Pokemon decided to spite you! All birds are back now! Yay!!! Some interesting stuff announced today so if you play make sure you get all the legendary birds by the end of August.

I was a little surprised that they didn't offer this service. Hopefully in the coming years we'll at least see some service brought to the cabanas...alcohol is a whole other story!

Thanks Erik for the update. Certainly looks like the park is really putting their money where their mouth is and following through with all of these projects.

KT and I had our best visit ever!

Had a much better group today along I-Drive. We had five people in my car and we met up with about 15 others and just went down I-Drive from the Eye to Pointe Orlando doing two Zapdos and two Lugia raids. All of us were successful at least once so we're feeling a lot better now! I'm sure at some point they'll bring back Moltres for me to get another try.

It better have a #shed.

^&^^ Exactly. We actually talked about that, but we don't want to be one of those people/sites that ruins the ride for everyone else talking and playing during the filming. Now granted, I think we'd be making the ride much better for those people, it's still not right!

I though you were stronger than this Elissa I have not gone back out again with them. They were kind of scary. Not what I was expecting from Pokemon Go players!

So I broke down and joined two Facebook groups. Went out today for the first time and we successfully defeated a Zapdos and Lugia. I caught neither. =( Oh well, at least I know this now works and can try again when I have some time!

The rides look good and that's really all that matters. Sure it's stupid that Hershey is claiming it as a 'roller coaster' but it's no more stupid than how other parks market stuff.

Ugh, yeah...as much of a mess Sea World parks are right now I don't see Merlin helping.

How is everyone finding enough people for these raids? Are you using Facebook Groups or Discord? We only got enough people once during the trip to get an Articuno, and could never find enough people to try for Lugia or Moltres and this was at parks with lots of young people around.
