Oh yeah! I got molested by way too many wacky characters at random Japanese parks!

How the hell is Six Flags giving away 15 prizes for buying Season Passes a cooler idea than Disney giving away a million different prizes ranging from little things to stuff much better than a Six Flags party?!?!? From reports I've heard the Disney Dream Squad is already out practicing and people have gotten Golden Fastpasses this week!

Yup Derek will be on the trip...but before any of you drink we need to go get footage at the fishing restaurant!!!! Beer in the vending machines!!!!

^Your response did come off kind of 'dickish' Chris. Also, there are Blasters all over the place. Tons of small parks have them, indoor waterparks have them, they're really not rare at all. It's just stupid shows on the Discovery Channel and Travel Channel make it seem like Schlitterbahn is the only place in existence cool enough to have one.

I think you can have way more fun at a park being an enthusiast! I mean, we're not stupid enough to wait 3 hours for a ride that you know will have a shorter line at a different time of the day. We also understand breakdowns better, know how to 'do' parks, know where to sit on rides to get better rides, etc.

Yeah Crush n Gusher was much better than any of the Master Blasters at Schlitterbahn, although I think my new favorite is the one at Splash Landings at Alton Towers! That one was insane! And when you went single on it you would end up backwards on this double down section that's crazy!

I definitely went through a period where I didn't want to go to parks, didn't really care what was going on, etc. Especially with the American parks. I think even now I feel very 'done' with most parks in the US. They just seem really annoying, not building stuff I'm into, and the clientele are getting worse and worse. Then Robb and I started travelling more internationally and it kind of woke me up again, and now I can deal with travelling to parks in the US, but I live to travel overseas! I don't mean that to sound obnoxious or anything, but I'm definitely just 'tired' of all these parks!

I can't decide if I like it or not. To me, the few shows like this this season (Jericho comes to mind) I haven't loved it immediately...I'll wait a few episodes and see. BTW, what is Ali Larters 'power' I couldn't figure it out? She has an evil twin??? What!?!?

Great TR James! I can't believe how positive it was, I'm sort of confused! By the way, does anyone know when that S&S Swing at Grand Prix last operated? I don't think it ran all summer.

Let's try to keep this as a Six Flags thread and not turn it too much into all of our personal beliefs over animal rights. I think that everyone has made their position clear. Let's now wait and see what Six Flags does.

^Just to add to that...Guest Services (where they print up the Annual Passes) also had no idea there was a 'Backspace' key on the keyboard, and whenever she would make a mistake she would have to start over. We showed her the new fangled invention (the backspace key) and she was quite grateful!

Great TR! I'm glad that they are getting a new ride next year so I have an excuse to go back!

^Hey! We don't go *that* much! Maybe over Xmas though! Seriously, for us it was never about the credits! In fact, I think on next years 'group adventure tour' Robb and I will only get like 5 credits each! Japan is just so cool, even if the credits they do have are weird!

As much as I HATE PETA...I do kind of see their point. How do you define what animals to save and which ones to let Fear Factor use? It is a hard call. At least they are somewhat consistent in trying to save ALL living things, and not just the cute and cuddly animals. I, for one, was outraged at the 'rat blender' they did on Fear Factor. Others I'm sure look at Rats the same way I look at Cock Roaches! So therefore I would have to support not killing the roaches if it will also save the Rats in the long run! See my point? Bring on the Dog Blender though, and I'm fine with that! and btw, yeah, I called it!!!!!
