^No...maybe you should ask your Wet Cat? -
Nah, Robb won't watch them...I think he enjoys harassing me too much to try and catch up! I will use the shiny object idea though to distract him tonight...well, that or just have some food laying around!

Theme Park Review's 2007 Group Trips!

Let's just blame Lou and move on! So...emails going out late tomorrow about Spain and Midwest trips!!!! BTW, we still need to fill some spots for the Midwest, so spread the word and get your deposits in! Trip boards are opening soon!!!! -
No, It's the now nearly defunct Suzuka Circuit. They had an SLC, a Premier Spaghetti Bowl, and some other rides. Now they've changed the focus of the park to more of a kiddie place while adults go watch the famous car races. Spaghetti Bowl is gone, and we can only hope the SLC leaves soon too!

^Lou can pass as a man! -
The hardest part is going to be waiting 20 minutes after it starts to start it on Tivo so I can watch it without commercials!!!! Second hardest part will be trying to ignore Robb behind me asking who everyone is, what's going on, and why do I like the show!!!

So why hasn't anyone bought this for me yet?!!?!?

Someone is forcing me to eat mass quantities of McDonalds to play the Monopoly game!

Ugh...so I've felt sick pretty much all night so I never ate anything. Now it's after 11pm and if I eat I'll be sick, and if I don't eat I'll wake up in the middle of the night starving. grrrr.

Here's an idea... Lou and Bob...I'll bring a big duffle bag, and you two can take turns sleeping in it...With Ryan making sure you don't come out! As for the midwest trip, mostly it will be one hotel a night, there will be a break towards the middle of the trip when we stay in Sandusky for 3 nights. -
It was closed yesterday...ate lunch with a worker today...no real news on it.

Good questions Lou! I might be in your neck of the woods soon and we can chat in person but let me try and answer a bunch of your questions here. We will all be going around (transportation/hotels at least) as a full group. Yes you might have a 'captain' most likely Robb, Dan, or myself, but we will be in the same train cars, same areas, etc. It is more so instead of having to count off 30 people to make sure everyone is there, our captains can quickly count to 10 and we can get on and off trains fast and easy. Having group captains like this also can allow for the possibility of leaving early or late. If some people are 'so done' with a park, but others want to stay, we can break into groups of who wants to stay, and who wants to go back to the hotel early. I think it will work out well with the smaller group and captains. As for if you'll have fun or not, I think you will. You're smart, self suffcient, and know your limitations. This trip is not going to be for 'worryworts' or people that are overly clingy, or think they can stay up all night drinking for the first time ever and make a 6am bullet train the next morning! Yes it will require you to pay more attention than the UK trip but not much more. Basically instead of sitting on a bus, you'll be on a train. You don't need to worry about which one, where it's going, when to get off, you just need to follow our instructions when we tell you what time and where to meet! With the current state of our jobs, there really is no way we could do an addon for the Japan trip. With the three trips next summer we're already pushing our days off. Now granted, if we were to change our job situations and have time, yes we'd probably offer something. But to be honest we're leaning more towards a Korea or Taiwan quick trip. Saving Hong Kong for the TPR China trip (Date TBD!). Hotels. As of right now, our schedule has us so that you'll always be able to leave all of your stuff in a hotel while we go off to parks with the exception of one day. Being that this is an Adventure tour though, you will not have Dan and Nigel loading your bags onto a train everyday, so you must be able to walk, do stairs, etc. with ALL of your luggage. Sorry to disappoint, but the Capsule hotel thing totally freaks me out...NO! Hope this answers some of your questions for now! -

Wait, from the picture I can't tell...is this a Cable Ejection Seat, or the older Bungee Kind? Also the article obviously isn't right since it talks about bungee jumping, and not this actual ride! -
^Stupid Georgia!!! Still $2.67 here...

Hmm, yeah, that's going to be something to consider. Joey pretty much cleared the queue for Batman the next day after consuming White Castle! -

I think in regards to food, we'll use those rest areas that have 3 food choices inside, or we'll pull off at an exit that has like 5 all within walking distance and have a time that everyone will have to be back on the buses. I only feel sorry for the White Castle near SFGAm, as I have a feeling we'll be going through several of the 100 crave cases one night!
