  1. As far as the lottery, yes, anyone who doesn't make it will be put on the waitlist in the order they were pulled out.
  2. Happy Birthday Derek... Hope everything comes out alright! See you in a couple of weeks!
  3. Hey Joe...on this page we have our own list too! http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27577
  4. My bad! Japan Lottery will be a few days after the Oct. 12th deadline.
  5. Yup, they used to have two!
  6. 2007 Trips Update! Spain Is FULL! If we get anymore deposits in that were postmarked by 9/28 there will need to be a lottery, if not, you're all in! We will email everyone Thursday to let you know! Uber Secret Spain Trip Board will open on Saturday. Midwest HAS OPENINGS! We had so much interest in the Midwest trip that we have decided to do two buses! I can only assure you that this is a GOOD thing! A lot of the US parks are much happier to give us stuff when we have 100 participants rather than 50, and with multiple trains on most coasters you should still never have to wait at ERT. You can ask our UK Trip Peeps...with 53 of us, sometimes the coasters were going half empty! We have 14 spots open for this great trip (with some ERT already confirmed!) so get your deposits in today! Uber Secret Midwest Trip Board will open on Saturday. Japan Will Have A Lottery! Keep in mind you still have until October 12th to have a chance at this once in a lifetime TPR Adventure Tour! Yes there will be a lottery, but you'll have just as good of a chance as the others! This will be the smallest of our group trips at right around 30 participants, but it's sure to be amazing! *A NOTE ABOUT WAITLISTS!* Please do not get discouraged if you do not make it into one of the trips on a lottery, or if you can't signup just yet, but think you may want to sign up at a later date. We have already had one drop for Spain and two drops for Japan! For the UK trip we had FOURTEEN Drops between October and May...that means FOURTEEN people made it into the trip either from the waitlist or signing up in the Spring! Please keep those questions and deposits coming!
  7. Add another vote for Monte Carlo...it's where we always stay. Great location, good food, quieter atmosphere.
  8. Sorry your Sam Adams Chick wasn't there...maybe in two weeks??? I know someone mentioned they did a little something about seating, but what did you guys notice? So, did they fix this problem?
  9. ^Joe!!!! Did you even read her TR?!?! She totally trashes your baby at Knotts!!!!
  10. Sorry to hear your story, but I am not shocked at all! We had a pretty miserable day at Fuji Q as well, and you're right, it just sticks out so much compared to the other Japanese Parks. In fact I believe it was the only park I was 'yelled' at, as once Dodonpa was closed for the day (I had actually gotten on it) I went up the exit to see if the Gift Shop was still open and was yelled at! All I wanted to do was buy something! Oh well, good, I didn't want to give them my money anyways! Seriously, I think the park looks rundown, and has too many roving gangs of teenagers and careless employees. We'll go back next year, but I'm not expecting much.
  11. See this is one of my problems with Six Flags right now... What happened to all of those press releases and articles where Shapiro said the parks were going to go 'Family Friendly'? Then throughout the season family rides were closed early, had limited schedules, and we never heard of 'Family Fright Fest' again did we? Instead we have all of these Xtreme Events like eating cockroaches and riding coasters for 13 hours. Six Flags had an identity crisis and Shapiro saw that...but it seems they haven't done much to fix it this season. My hope is that they use this offseason to unload some parks, and focus on key markets.
  12. Tired...exhausted...too much going on! I hate having to find a place and move!!!!
  13. Yes
  14. Busch Gardens Tampa is open daily year round.
  15. I think IOA has a good layout...even better when they used to run the boats across the lagoon. I would always laugh as I passed people who were lost...IT'S A BIG CIRCLE!!! How hard is that??? Also, parks that use the hub system (ala Magic Kingdom's) are always nice also. Parks that seem to build onto themselves too much, or have to deal with terrain seem to have issues. I don't like deadends.
  16. Hmmm, so you found several things that Californian's rave about, to be quite average...YUP! Sounds about right! sigh...I miss Dunkin Donuts...
  17. ^Do any of the others even *HAVE* a hayride?!!? Yes, SFGAd's is nothing amazing compared to the bigger events (and even some local specifc hayrides) but the fact that they do it, and they seem to do it well, gives me hope!
  18. I've never found Alton Towers too big...I can't really think of any park that's 'too big'. It's all about how they use the space. And if they offer transportation options. Epcot is one of the bigger parks, but at least there are places to rest, stop, check stuff out, and even boats for transport! I haven't met a park I couldn't tackle! (although I have had my share of blisters and advil!)
  19. X is never on Flashpass. Tatsu is. When you enter the park, head to Revolution, go up the 'fastlane entrance' to Revolution, but then instead of turning into Revolutions Station, just continue up the exit stairs, then turn right at the top of the hill. You'll beat everyone up the hill to Tatsu.
  20. Oh dear. Anyone who knows ANYTHING about Robb or I, knows better than YOU! We would pretty much rather live in our cars than a trailer!!!!! You are WAY off! I feel dirty even responding to this.
  21. Nice article, except that Epcot beats Knoebels food. They're in two completely different categories (like the article even states!) so it seems kind of unfair to compare them in that respect, but not others.
  22. If you have any other flumes you're interested in, perhaps it would be better to create one topic, instead of one topic EACH! Thanks.
  23. No offense, but you say you had a 'successful' 6 hours with no fastlane, yet you spent more than half of that time standing in line...how is that awesome???
