Most German's DO NOT speak English. At most of the parks there were very few that spoke or understood more than maybe 5 words of English, so do not go in expecting that at all.

When it gets closer to your trip, either call the parks directly or post here asking locals what the best deals are. There usually are deals at restaurants or places you can buy tickets at a discount.

That's not really big news, it's been on the website for a week now. And it's not a 'rehab', that's just SFMM's spin on the fact that they're too pathetic to get the part they need. I'm sorry, but having a major ride closed for 6 months due to 'part availability' is totally unacceptable. Actually, having a major ride closed for 6 months for ANY reason is unacceptable! I would do a search, cause I'm pretty sure we covered this at some point before. - Europa Park - Holiday Park - Phantasialand - Heide Park - Movie Park - Legoland - Klotten - Tripsdrill You really need to provide more info, like what part of Germany, what you're into, stuff like that. Plus keep in mind that some of the German parks are closer to parks in Belgium and the Netherlands than other German Parks.

There's a big difference between saying that IOA and Universal were dead today, in a traditionally dead time of the year compared with Cypress Gardens open 10am-Midnight on an October Saturday with an event and seeing about 10 people in the park!
