  1. ^ Can...not...wait...
  2. *And before you try contacting CoasterGlobe...I already did. So yeah.
  3. That's kinda where I'm at. It kinda stinks, but it makes meeting a coaster nerd somewhere twice as exciting because you feel like somebody is actually listening or caring about your hobby.
  4. Well, I see a lot of TPR people's friends know about their coaster hobby, but I also hear of some that don't (including me). Do you have a sort of "separate alias" here on TPR? Share!
  5. Go to the screenshots folder and at the top of the window, there should be a "Compatibility Files" button. Press it. Photos magically appear. Anytime you don't see files where they should be, chances are they are just in the Compatibility Files area. It's Vista being more complicated than it's supposed to be. [the actual location of the Compatibility Files section is extremely obscure...which sucks]
  6. Wow, that's pretty good. However, some minor hiccups: - The first drop's beginning came too early and was a little tight. - The second drop's apex seemed a little dragged, and the angle was a little shy (but I could be wrong). - The corkscrews on the batwing weren't rounded (like Arrow) and didn't feature a "linear" roll-to-time ratio (like Arrow). - Some parts were a little too jerky, some parts just barely didn't have that snap (too smooth, due to beziers). Honestly, these are very picky (especially the last two). You did very nice in recreating the Phantom, and really getting it's feel. I could really see parts in it that you recreated that I saw in many witnessed POV's, such as the bottom of the first drop, snappiness of the hill coming into the loop, etc. Basically put, just shy of perfect. But of course, in NoLimits, it's insanely hard to get perfect (because it's practically impossible). Great job.
  7. ^^I always thought the same...which is why I didn't buy the Stimulus Map Pack. However, the Resurgence is actually quite good. I bought it, and the maps are great. I really hate the classic maps thrown in there for the extra price, but oh well. Fuel is the biggest map in MW2 (I think) and it's got a boat-load of buildings. Trailer Park, the second map, is actually more fun the more you play it. The trailers are SO close to each other you can run around and kill people like crazy, and there are tons of places to hide. Domination on it is really fun. And lastly, Carnival, I have to say is the best map of the three, and it's not because I'm a coaster-nerd (though you can run on-top of the coaster tracks, so it's double awesome). It's just so crazy...the fun house is wicked fun to be in and you can climb on so many rides. Also, there are so many places to hide; it's so fun. So, coming from somebody that didn't buy the Stimulus Pack (or is even that good at CoD), I think the rather overpriced Resurgence Pack is worth it in the end...the Stimulus (played it at my friend's house), not so much.
  8. ^Possibly... I think I spend way more time in Chat than looking at forums...for real lol.
  9. ^Haha, yes, the boring moments... Robb & Elissa: Well yes, it's most definitely not my chat room! I'm really happy that you guys keep this implanted on the site, because trust me, it's used more often now than before (I think I remember it being dead all the time). I'm just trying to get people in there...it's great to get to know people (I know RollingRunner quite well now...if he never came into chats often he'd just be another member of TPR). Sorry if its getting too elitist...and let me know if it does go to far. After all, it's your site (with 30,000 members), so you have complete control, which is good for such a large site.
  10. EVERYBODY get in chat now! Lets break a chat record! The record right now is 35...let's shatter it! EVERYBODY ON NOW!
  11. That was me until recently...now I get it (I had seen the real-life graphs and functions in Algebra II, so then I realized how that related to Newton).
  12. ^Well yes, but Quintic is in-between. Not evenly, but in-between. I know how Newton works as well so I know a little bit on the transitions too. I guess a timewarped zone would be the best way to achieve halfway between Agnesi and Bernstein.
  13. ^^Quintic is the halfway between Agnesi and Bernstein. ^He might have used timewarping, but zero-G rolls (especially for inverts) are so easy to make and feel just like a B&M, there was probably no need for timewarping. Quintic already provides the perfect feel; even Bernstein can be used for a drawn out zero-G roll like some of the newer B&M's (Patriot, maybe?).
  14. ^I agree completely! Any "celeb" will be honored in a NightChat. Yes, God did receive it...and he laughed. NightChat's last in early mornings aswell. Basically, anywhere from 9pm to 5am is considered NightChat (or if you see the moon).
  15. ^Hey, those people have Lone Oak shirts! That means that they go to my school (in FAR western Kentucky)! That's not a likely sight there. Anyway, I don't know these people so I can't identify them but wow, what a coincidence!
  16. Hehe, always gotta watch your rank! I don't demote much though, so you won't really have to worry...but it WOULD be nice if you came more often!
  17. Amen broda. Yeah, it's been cool these last months or so...and chat's been hit or miss. Sometimes we rack up 20 people, sometimes, it's 2 people, sometimes it's 5 but dead anyway, sometimes it's 3 and chat's going on forever in conversation. So, you never know what you'll get. It's been awesome in these chats because now I feel like I have "connections" here at TPR because of the chat... ^Starr, you've been involved enough lol. You're a T.A.M!
  18. [DISCLAIMER - trademarks are actually not real and just make us look more important even though we aren't] Alright! I'm here because [we] have been starting a revolution...this is TPR NightCrew™ V2! Now, it started with me and two other dudes (trcg721, DarkStitch626) and we realized that we had this craze about going on the new TPR chat every night really late, and dubbed ourselves the NightCrew™. Later, after a few days of gathering awesome people there every night, a quick Google search found that some people from ancient times [the Forerunners, as I like to call them] had not only come up with the same name, but also the same activity that we do today! Topic revival starts NOW! Now, it's time for a revolution. We've had quite the crowd during some nights, but lately, we've puttered out. It's time for a new wave of cool peeps to come in and stay up every night to chat, and climb the ranks of TPR NightCrew™ members! Our website, entirely pointless, has no reason for it's existence! However, there are those NightCrew™ ranks that people go goo-goo over...so join and keep joining us every night to climb ranks! By the way, the ranks have no point, they are just for acting cool and feeling superior! Be a night owl and stay up until you drop on the floor sleeping...be a member of the TPR NightCrew™ and represent with a signature like the one below (or other styles coming out soon, or don't even have one). Most of all, have fun and join the zaniness that occurs late at night! Website - http://www.tprnightcrew.webs.com/ You-know-you-wanna-join, - AJClarke0912
  19. I assume you own a helicopter too? Anyway, I'm looking forward to this park. Bring in some charm with this one like Charleston Gardens and American Adventures and you'll have a top-notch park!
  20. ^Oh, by looking at the picture I see what you really did. Yeah, that's what I do too usually. I just thought that the ENTIRE coaster was a large Multi-Zone, and that didn't make sense. Now I see that it's just the first turn and such, so yeah. Nevermind!
  21. ^Agreed. ^^Well, it was just a concept, and I'm probably not going to finish it on top of Fighter-Blitz, so YOU go ahead.
  22. Hmmm, looks like you just designed with single zones contained in a giant multi-zone. No problem with that, just more confusing. Looks pretty good so far. I had an idea on something like this but I'll wait for you to finish it out.
  23. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=47259 The "Preview" Thread is pretty much for that already. Just sayin'.
  24. Haha, don't be embarrassed! You just didn't know...
  25. Whoops my bad, it is N scale. CD did mention working on an O scale woodie though, so that's probably the confusion.
