  1. ^Can't you just crop it to a square and downsize it?
  2. That looks very very interesting.......
  3. ^Yes! L Bosch has some rules applied for their usage (to avoid plagiarism), but generally follow these guidelines and you'll be okay. L Bosch's Object Set 2 This set also includes... - But wait, there's more utilities! L Bosch's Object Set 3 This set includes... ...and many more sensors and fins! - BTW, enjoy.
  4. ^Well, this would help if NoLimits Dev Center was still running...but all the pictures are broken links now. Still, the 2nd and 3rd pages do provide more insight.
  5. Yeah, I agree with Maximo here. I actually enjoyed Portal 1 as much as the 2nd despite it's short length. The twist was surprising, and the dry humor was much more mature and cynical. I still love the second one though, but the first was so cool. It looked like your normal "side-game" packaged with Orange Box, and then there were moments amidst the "standard testing with robot". Things got weirder, GLaDOS was getting funkier, and then when you were supposed to die, you escape and finish with a bang. Portal 2 feels less mature in that it feels like it's "trying to make me laugh", which is fine in some cases, but I think that was the Portal 1 charm. It was dry, dark, and cynical. Still, I feel that Portal 2 was with the money, and honestly, I couldn't think of a better way to try and "keep up" with the first game. However, the first game (to me) has an unbeatable/unrepeatable "genius" quality in it that sequels won't be able to keep up with fully because it's already been done.
  6. ^Either that, or I'm just naturally amazing at designing coasters!
  7. I bet whoever makes the millionth post gets a Club TPR membership and/or a huge TPR Bag of Crap.
  8. No, I think it would only make things feel recycled. It's like watching a funny video over and over. It's not as funny the second time.
  9. I'm just wondering...the train seemed to be crawling through the layout on the full layout test video. That's not the full speed, right? I hear this talk about this ride being marketed to families and I really hope that's not the case. It has so much potential, especially since it is Intamin and it is the Blitz type like Maverick. Really, this ride looks fantastic. It's gorgeous and the layout is great...unless the talk I'm hearing is true and it does run at that speed.
  10. This was pretty good for a handbuilt. It had it's weird spots with banking and transitions, but this recreation was done quite well from what I could tell. It would have helped if you didn't put a fish-eye on the viewing angle, as that distorted a lot of the elements. If you are trying to go for a "realistic" approach with the fish-eye, I'd recommend not using it. NoLimits actually already has a slight fish-eye on the lowest FOV setting. Also, given that computer monitors (or YouTube video frames) are a limited viewing angle, increasing the FOV won't give the "broad, like real-life" viewing angle efficiently. Just leave it at the lowest FOV so that it looks like a recorded video. At least that's my recommendation. This ride looked pretty solid though!
  11. Wow, I never check RCT3 stuff, but I saw your name and remembered you from CoasterForum. This looks fantastic! Consider me interested!
  12. Yeah, trust me. I've helped a lot of people, so it would be ironic to be making fun of people who try to help, because that would be making fun of myself.
  13. Loved it! It was a such a cool splash of originality and Arrow style. I totally did not see the big drop coming! Again, like you said, the corks are wobbly, but that's my only real complaint. This track is great, and the layout was really cool. - 8/10 I took a picture of the ride and edited it...
  14. I won't have time to finish this. I'm too wrapped up in my other projects and the NoLimits-Interview site to find time to get this ride going. I'm excited to see everyone else's designs though!
  15. Some weird pumps on the overbanks. Also, there were some bad transitions in the hills and rolls. The colors were a bit off and there were no wide supports, which seemed kind-of odd. Nonetheless, it was a more-or-less enjoyable layout! Thanks for posting.
  16. Wow, that taxi is ugly. Not that Crown Vic's are pretty, but...wow. They could at least design something slightly more aesthetically pleasing hahaha.
  17. Sprecher's Cream Soda tops the list. Of all time.
  18. ^^If you think you can 1UP, go ahead! I'm not preventing anyone...NoLimits has had it's fair share of silly rides in the past. ^The fact that they are trying to help isn't the funny part, but what is - the fact that they just go to NL-E to download rides. They never check the forum, so they therefore do not know about the video and my past rides (like Il Pitone, which proves that I do know what I'm doing). It's funny because they never keep in touch with the community around them.
  19. lol I saw these on Facebook:
  20. ^lol I put IE9 on my computer just for the sake of updating my IE. I checked it out for a sec, then went back to Chrome/Firefox.
  21. ^I don't know how I can top it! I mean, I can come up with more track ideas, but the video would be kind-of recycled lol.
  22. Yeah, Most Wanted was by far the best NFS ever, with Carbon following in 3rd or 4th. Hot Pursuit 2 (NFS-4) was probably the 2nd best, followed by Underground 2. NFS has kind-of fallen wayside. As a replacement, I play Test Drive 2 and Forza 3. I'm wondering what new stuff Forza 4 will bring. Like someone said earlier, it seems kind-of redundant right now, but if there is something ground-breaking (like a race track creator) I'm all for it. I guess we'll have to wait until Turn 10 sheds more light on the project. They haven't really shown anything other than a [beautiful] Ford GT being opened up.
