Photo TR: Drayton Manor (Page 19)

I loved Manta when I went to SeaWorld (it was my first flyer). The whole thing from the get-go is amazing, from the aquariums, to the layout, to the colors of the ride. They really hit a home run with that ride. Nice report! I should check back more often. -
http://nliv.blog.com/ This is a new site project I have started that I'm sure some of you will be interested in. Just give the site a look and let me know what you think! All the photos featured in the articles are custom shots taken and edited by me. The general purpose of the site is to gain insight or learn more about the designers featured that week. A new interview gets posted each Friday. Concerning the Topic: If the mods feel that this is considered spam then feel free to remove or lock this topic. However, this topic has stayed open on other simulator/exchange sites (to discuss recommendations and post updates). If you still feel it's spam, again just lock or delete the topic.

Welcome peoples! Mr. Flogby has invited us on a magical journey through his pineapple garden on his train of derp! Watch out though, as the pineapple garden can be very dangerous! Be prepared for a real adventure! After months of figuring FVD calculus formulas and testing out my skills with quantum physics for inverse trigonometric functions to apply to the simple bezier curve, I present my latest ride. Within opening year, Mr. Flogby's Pineapple Garden Train of Derp already received 5 annual awards (all of which were the "Worst MCBR", awarded 5 times to ensure the truth). Take that Redunzelizer! Also, this ride features the same music as Gaia! Since that ride was so awesome-like, I HAD to have used awesome-like music!!1! - Download from the TPR Game Exchange here! You can also rate this coaster on NoLimits-Exchange! So far, I've had stunning reviews!

^Or if you have an Xbox. That's a way you can cut corners for still good graphics on Crysis (but not mind-blowing). And yes, the multiplayer is pretty good! Especially assault mode. I think I said that earlier. I just got to Chapter 8 (of 9) in Portal 2 yesterday after buying it. Great game!

^I got Portal 2 today. And I'm not done yet! For some reason I had that "I'm going to complete it in one sitting" feeling, but I guess that now that the game is $60, I wouldn't doubt that the singleplayer is 4x as long.

Has anybody played the Assault gametype in Crysis 2? I just unlocked it today and it's super fun! It's a take from CoD's Search and Destroy. The object is to upload/download files or viruses onto the defenders' computers through various terminal access points. The "attackers" have Nanosuits (which enable cloaking) but only carry pistols. The defenders have laser-sight assault rifles, but they are only wimpy "normal" soldiers. There are no custom classes, and everyone has one life. Hiding from the laser sights that dart the room, combined with Crysis' insanely realistic graphics/lighting, and cranked up HUD bobbing makes you feel like you're truly immersed, if not inside a movie. It's so fun to sneak around the buildings, hallways, and air ducts to reach access points and assassinate the defenders under a time limit. The people at Crytek did a great job on making this gametype authentic and not some "let's just throw it in there" one. Really having a blast playing it [all day].

Thanks everyone! The surprising thing is that Il Pitone's photo (the first) actually wasn't edited! I just used JetPulse's "Strong-Minded" environment which tweaks some background colors. -

I know two is the max, but I have three favorites... -

^Even more simply put, it's just "custom scenery" or "in-game scenery". It's all scenery, not what defines whether a park is good or not. -
Remember that the NL recorder will kill your FPS while it does it's job. However, after you finish, it should come out smooth (unless you have a computer that can't play high-quality AVI files smoothly, such as mine). If that doesn't happen, it may be your recording FPS settings under the Advanced menu on Options. Make sure it is set to "30fps (NTSC)".

Crysis 2 multiplayer sucks until Level 13 when you get the Feline...then it becomes the hottest multiplayer game you own at the moment.

Gambit [NL]

I think it has the potential to be cool, but will ultimately fail. I predict a lot of hidden (well, more like not hidden) lateral forces throughout that roll. Here's to hoping it'll all work out! -
I picked it up today. The opening scenes made me jizz on the spot. And I was only running Xbox 360...

Indeed you do, was seeing if anyone else here played it. In any event, you can earn XP way faster by: a) Having as many club members as possible join a race (more XP to contribute) b) Finding a team that's easy to beat, but won't give up. (Let em' win once or twice during the slaughter to make them think they have a chance. Oh, and our club will gladly race yours anytime. Keep an eye out for "Exotic Imports", we're some of the only clean, non cheating racers on TDU2. I think mine is "Unlimited Creations" (with a K maybe I don't remember). I don't really do much in it, but we have done some races. We have the Lotus and Weismann too.
-
^I believe I have you added. And yes, my club is currently trying to get an Apollo, but we aren't there yet.

They're truly fun when you are good at them. If you do "average" online or are just not that good, they are a LOT less fun.

^The new icon grows on you; eventually you like it better. I hate the old one now.
