In a rush to be the first to open a new thread, GMAN962 spells the title incorrectly. Whats a Distriutor?

I like how these people get rejected and then complain that the judges don't know what they are talking about.

^ Ditto, I have a strap so there are no worries. There are a few coasters that they will make you take them off even with a strap. -

Magic Mountain Parkway to Change Name!!!!
gisco replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The name change is for East of the Freeway not West towards the park. The signs on the freeway would still be Magic Mountain Parkway. -
Mr. Freeze to turn RED!
gisco replied to adc9787's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Maybe we could get Rollermonkey to drive over to SFOT to take some pics. He is used to long drives to do things like this. -
I agree that $125,000 sounds cheap but your going to pay 10 times that to remove, move and set the ride back up. If Six Flags doesn't make the price attractive, no one will buy it. From Six Flags point of view, it would give them a little cash and remove a lot of expense to operate it. The ride is pretty boring anyway so it wouldn't be a loss for MM.

These old pictures are cool. Brings back a lot of memories. I'm going to have to go thru my Moms pictures. We visited Disneyland every year around Christmas time when I was a kid.

You should have put on a wig and a dress and said you were Elissa! -
Great pics but you have one mistake. That is a picture of Columbia not Chicken of the Sea. Chicken of the Sea was the name of the restaurant in the pirate ship by skull rock. You have pics of that ship. It is the one with the red and white striped sails. They had a great tuna melt there. One of my favorite places to eat as a kid.

Kiddie Coasters
gisco replied to christianscoasters's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
So for Jeff Johnson, if the kiddie coaster had 12 seats and made 2 laps and you rode it in each seat with your eyes open and then shut, that would be 48 credits! -
I got hooked on the show last year when we were on the TPR UK trip. My son had downloaded all the episodes to his Ipod and we watched them on the bus and at night for 2 weeks. We managed to get thru them all but the 2nd season finale. I bought the DVD's on a bigger screen this last summer. I'm with Dave, I think the end of last year was a bit of a stumble but it looks like it is improving this year.

^ & ^^ Your right. The launch pad is mobile. It does carry only the shuttle with boosters and tank. It is carried out to the lunch site by a giant crawler. The launch tower is stationary at the launch pad. The coaster would be attached to the tower and thus never moved.

Cypress Gardens Announcement on Nov. 9th
gisco replied to IOA Freak's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Some how I don't think they would spend money to run a radio add to announce they are closing. I think it is either the Starliner or some Christmas program. -
lol, thats good. I read about a deal down in Mexico where you pay like $15 to simulate crossing the boarder. They give you a guide, take off at night and have to avoid the boarder patrol and cross a river or something like that. Lasts about 6 hours and is supposed to be pretty popular.
