Your little toes look funny. They look like they are turned side ways. Is that a hobbit thing?

Nagashima Spaland This is where the Alvey's rock on the trips. We got in the park before the public and got to take a few rides on White Cyclone and Steel Dragon. I really liked Steel Dragon. Nice air on those little hills coming back into the station. It was nice to see it finally open again. The park is Ok but the next time I would like to go to their water park. It looked like it would be more fun then the amusement park rides. Nagoya Zoo This was mostly a credit run. The kiddie coaster was powered so no credit. But it did have plenty of leg room. The Jet coaster was ... just a jet coaster with far less leg room then the kiddie coaster. Credit! The Slope Shooter was very interesting. I'm not sure that this one counts as a credit. The funny thing about the whole day is I took very few pictures. They were even letting babies on this thing. Smile Chuck. They grab onto you car when you come into the station to brake you Coaster or not? Nagoya Zoo and Slope Shooter, they push you over to the lift hill We thought about taking this to get to Nagoya Zoo but opted for the taxi and trains This kiddie coaster wasn't to crowded or nobody wanted to ride with Ryan. As long as the person in front of you doesn't go to slow They are a lot of fun Bobkarts! Like you couldn't tell from the sign. Why is Jeff so excited? He missed the left side of the mouse the last time he was here. Nice pops of air time here Yes, it is running today! We are so close and first in line Nice to not see a fence in the way Welcome to Nagashima Spaland See the people waiting to get in the park, Ha, we are already in! I think the guy likes Barry Once again we start out on a train but had to take a taxi to the park. -

Robb. I challenge you to see who can lose more weight. If you win you pay for dinner for Me and Kristie. If I win I'll pay for dinner for you and Ellisa. Or we can wager something else if you have any ideas. Deal? Bob "212lbs" Hoffman

I gained 5 pounds on the trip but I'm not a picky eater. At the very least you could survive on fast food. The McDonalds and other fast food places have much better food then here. A lot of the hotels serve a Western style breakfast too.

TPR 2008 Trips! Download the flyers here!

I need some clarification on the China flyer. It says that we get 13 nights of 5 star accommodations. Since the tour goes from Saturday 8/30 to Thursday 8/11 and that is only 12 nights, where is the 13th night? Since we have to fly out on Friday 8/29 to arrive in China on the 30th, loosing a day. Does that mean you are paying our airfare for that leg of the trip? That being the 13th night Does that also mean you are flying us over First Class because Coach is not 5 Star? I have no clue what the name of the building is but it is in Nagoya over the train station. It was kind of weird. They had this bar and dessert place on the top floor with this great view at night but they kept the lights on. They should have lowered the light level to make it easir to enjoy the view. The other crazy thing was they closed at like 10:00 and when they close, they want you out so we had to leave.

I love going to places and trying the local cuisine. Japan did not disappoint. I had a number of good meals there. One of the best parts is there is no tipping. Right Jeff? One night six of us were having dinner. The restaurant was was in one of those narrow buildings and was on 4 floors. We were seated on the 3rd floor. We all had a number of dishes and we just divides up the bill based on what we thought we owed. We had around 400 yen extra, The waitress wasn't around so we made a dash for the stairs. Which was just across from our table. Jeff Johnson was the slow poke and the last one. When she say us leaving she quickly fanned out the money, saw that we over paid and was able to grab Jeff before he got to far down the stairs. Pulled him back up the stairs and gave him the change. I love Japan! Until next time! My final dinner in Japan. fast food wrap, not bad Food from DisneySea. Creme Brulee that was not very good From Tokyo Disneyland. I wonder what the BB stands for? Jahan do you know? and the desserts to go with it This was from a buffet This reminded me of some one Check out the view. We were 51 floors up! Not sure what this was Snow cone with ice cream, yummy wrap your own sushi sushi Shrimp appetizer Almost normal Western breakfast More bowl of something Dessert, one of those is Lou's, honest A shaved ice with fruit on top This was one of the best dinners. The bacon wraped cheese was great. with melon soda Snack one day You can get meat on a stick at about any 7-11 or A.M. P.M. They do have familiar stuff too! Had this for breakfast several time. I do not recommend the curry donuts A lot of meals were bowls of noodles with stuff in them

I went by yesterday. They started delivering track that morning. I chatted with one of the guys there and he said they were expecting a number of trucks all week. The logs were in one of the containers he said and alot of track was there. If I get a chance this week I will call the owner to get an update? The guy did say that track for a new coaster was due at the end of the week. I don't know if that ment new new or new used and since the Disco was listed as a coaster originally, it might not even be a coaster.

On our 7th full day in Japan it was off to Parque Espana. Home to my favorite coaster on the trip, Pyreneses. The mine train, Gran Montserrat was really good too. Nice park, not a lot of shade around so it gets a little warm in the sun. Is this what Spain is really like? Ok Chuck, you can push this button I wonder if the Japanese really know what half the stuff they ware really says or Dan and his 6 shooter? On the way back to the hotel, Ryan and Dan get into a rubber band fight. WHo do you think won? Ryan and his single shot finger? Great views I love this sign, WARNING then the rest is in Japanes. No clue what the warning was for. Parade with funny looking floats I wonder it this will stop the escalator? The now famous Escalator Ride. I can hear that music now! Silly people! POTC knock off. This ride had a pretty cool drop at the end. Peter Pan knock off The log flume was cool. They wiped down the log before you get in so you don't sit in any water Not very crowded today Gran Montserrat Pyrenees -

Today was Universal. You would never have known that a typhoon had gone through the night before. This park was very nice ans a lot of fun. It was like Universal Orlando with some IOA thrown in. I liked the new B&M, Hollywood Dream. Nice air on some parts. I would have liked to ride it more but the Japanese Parks liked to close their rides on time. So if there was an hour wait for the ride and the park closes at 8:00 then they close the line at 7:00. I missed a third ride by about 5 minutes. Before catching the train back to the hotel that night, Lou was kicking butt at the drum game. I really liked this coaster You can get pretty close to the coaster My favorite B&M at this park. Some how I think there is something missing between step 3 and 4 Snoopy's Great Race Coaster is soooo fast! I understand that this is also the place to pick up chicks. Right Joey? This caption intentionately left blank This one actually spits at you ... dinosaurs. Surprised? Probably not. And behind these gates are ... Practicing his driving skills He is checking to see if the car is male or female Ryan is excited! Awesome dark ride even in Japanese No caption needed, right Chuck? No Luck Some were praying for an empty park Twins! Better then Thing 1 and Thing 2 .... Ok not really .... we must be at Universal! If this is City Walk then ..... This morning the station was crowded unlike the day before -

Day 5 Typhoon Day This was another 3 park day, Central Park, Tegarayama Yuen and Kurashiki Tivoli Park. This was one of our earliest starting days, 5:30 A.M. For the last few days we had been in Southern Japan. Today were were going to head North a few hundred miles to Osaka area and hit a few parks before continuing North a hundred miles or so to Nagoya that night. Also for the last few days we had been keeping an eye on a typhoon that was headed our way. For a while I thought the Typhoon was going to pass just South of Japan. I figured if we could get those parks out of the way then today when we head North would put us farther from the storm. Unfortunately the typhoon turned North the day before and was now expected to make land tonight somewhere North of Nagoya. We headed out and hoped for the best. 2 out of 3 parks were fun. The other park operated under the Knotts rule that if it looks like rain close the coasters. All in all not a bad day. We got back to the train station early. It was a mad house. Trains heading North towards the typhoon were bing canceled. There were thoughts that we might have to sleep in the station. I actually thought that might be pretty cool. I think Robb & Elissa were contemplating paying for taxis for us to get us to our hotel or try taking the local trains. In the end we we got on a train headed in the right direction with standing room only. After a few long stops at stations we finally made it to our hotel around 11 that night. Our longest day of the trip. So ends another day at a beautiful park Yeah, we know your number 1 Kidtums scores her first credit. .... on this coaster and I use the term coaster loosly Tivoli Park where history was made ... On to a better park, we took lots of trains on this trip. When I went to bed at night and closed my eyes it felt like I was on a train 3rd coaster, CLOSED. One of the worst parts of the park is that R&E paid 100 yen admission each for us and they didn't bother to tell us all the rides were closed 2nd coaster CLOSED. This one looks like it hadn't been open in a while. Tegarayama Yuen - first coaster, CLOSED A lot of these parks were in beautiful areas Chuck, don't touch! Why are 3 guys all behind Lou in the haunted house? Only the mailman is in front and what is that look on Chris's face? It was not very crowded Chris loves the front Hurricane, I wonder if they know that it is the same thing as a typhoon Diavlo, Not the best B & M but still fun Central Park, not sure way it says East Side Park ... except for the homeless Empty train station this early in the morning ..... Our early start. Our baggage went on ahead by truck while we visited the parks. -

I can think of a couple of reason why people don't take you seriously. You come into this thread acting like because you were once an employee of MM, that you know everything. It would help if you don't act like a know it all because you don't. Second, your attitude. The way you respond to people who disagree with your opinion. You need to tone it down. Try being helpful and not "I'm right and your wrong" Just a few tips to help you get along with others.

Day 4 Mitsui Greenland After another taxi ride it was time to catch a train back to the hotel Some of the cars were airconditioned A nice view of Megaton from the wheel Another activity you won't see in America, Bow and arrows. Jeff and his best freind Gus. This by the way is the best standup coaster I have ever been on. The air time is unbelievable. Richard loves the front But first thay made us ride this. .. to ride the Alpine slide Another OSHA approved chairlift to the top of the mountain ... Lunch, why is Jeff eating alone? Chris and I were the first to do it followed by 5 copycats And if you ride it 10 times you get to put your name on a stick that goes on the wall Better colors, not just all white Megaton, way better then the one at Nagasima or Astroworld Hi Jahan Rides you will never see in America Lou trying to look like the dinosaur, she is on the right by the way Ryan pretending to be eaten by the dinosaur. To bad it was pretend! Cool looking coaster but just so so No love for smokers, sorry Lou Faster driver, faster Thr great taxi race begins! -

Last Park of the day, Kijima Wildlife credit. Day 4 to come later this weekend Never trust a british chick with out a drivers license. After I took this picture she slammed into the back of my car.
