I get where your coming from there butsometimes people need to get in contact with each other if they loose someone or are organising to meet up, or even talking about a way in which they can have more 'fun'. People still need to use phones if they are in a theme park. Also thanks to 'ginzo' for adding more to this thread! Agreed. If your party splits up it is a great way to get back together. I usually use texting. It is easier if there is a lot of noise or your on a ride. But I find it more pleasant not to listen to someone talking about everything under the sun while I'm waiting in line. Listening to half a conversation is annoying.

I understand where they are coming from. They want you to be enjoying your family and to be enjoying the park. I never thought this was a big problem. If someone wants to ignore the people he is with, that's his choice. The ban should be on talking on them. That is what I find most annoying. Standing by someone that is talking away on there phone while standing in line. Like everyone else, when your in the queue, what else is there to do if your alone? Checking out TPR can pass the hour wait quickly.

Don't be so quick to blame the oil companies. They are not responsible for $135/barrel of oil. Prices are set by supply and demand. You should look to our own government as half of the problems. They are limiting drilling for new oil and not pushing hard enough for new sources of energy or conservation. The other half being the general population that refuses to conserve on energy. Is $50 expensive? Yes, that is the whole idea. They want a small group that is willing to shell out the money to be the first to ride. If it was cheap or free then the group would be huge and it wouldn't be much in the way of ERT. I can see this being kind of cool because the group will be small and we will probably get more rides then we want. I think I'm talking myself into this. I wonder if they will be running 3 trains?

Nice pictures. I didn't even know about this park until a few days ago when I was looking at the park index page and clicked on Lagoon. The pictures there are lacking so it was nice to see some new ones posted just a couple of days later. If you have some pictures of the kiddie coaster, post them.
