  1. totally forgot was on my dads computer...... but its me... not my dad
  2. We grasp any opportunity/ excuse to get out of fresno. Sad and true, but we're not ashamed, we know it sucks here. Drives some people to insanity. i.e. ryan..... The hoffman girl
  3. You have my approval on the pics you posted of the Hoffman girl, unlike some people who will remain nameless ....... Derek!!!!!!!
  4. Derek, I think we need to talk about those last photos .........
  5. Lou, Yeap I did the ECC/ACE trip to Japan last year. It was an awesome trip too ..... but for a different reason then the UK trip. I loved going to Japan so much, I'm going to go back with TPR. I got the OK tonight. I just have to take my wife to the Bahamas for a week. That will be fun but it means I can't go on the Spain trip. It looks like they are going to go to a few places in Japan that we didn't go to last year. Credit wise, I will pick up just about as many new credits in Japan as I would in Spain. I also hope to get to HK DIsneyland while I'm there too. That is my last Disney park to visit. I figure that combining the great fun of the UK trip with the awesome location of Japan will make this another trip of a lifetime. Each year these trips get better. I'm lookinf forward to a TPR trip to Europe in 2008 already too. I would like to spend more time in London and maybe get out to Alton Towers when heading that way for the 2008 trip.
  6. A couple of things to think about when they tell us the price of the trips based on the UK trip: TPR trips are no hassle trips. R & E take care of all the little details of the trip from the moment you land at the airport until you take off at the end. They will even help you find flights if you ask. They do the hotels, park tickets, transportation, they do it all. Priceless! ERT. The number of hours of ERT was awsome. With only 50 people, it was pretty much unlimited riding. On several occasions we had ERT on 2 coasters at the same time. I rode Nemesis at Thorpe Park for an hour straight. I just switched seats to see what provided the best ride. They also provided 1 meal a day and it turned out we ended up getting 2 meals a number of days. I saved a lot of money on meals and was way below what my budget was. Of course there is no guaranty on ERT or meals on future trips but you can count on the no hassle part.
  7. Why are you asking such a stupid question? This is Barry we are talking about! Didn't you meet him on our UK trip As for price, why speculate. They will have the flyers out in a few weeks anyway.
  8. Ryan, We all want to pound you ....... and drown you! Casey, throw Ryan in the pool again!
  9. Ryan was only 15 on the trip and he was a special case. Ryan is a freind of my family and I was responsible for him. Elissa signed the papers too because he flew in a day before I got there. He also has done a lot of traveling and had been out of the country before.
  10. It was only 100 today. Couple of weeks ago we had a heat wave and the average high temp for a 10 day period was 108.6. We had 6 days in a row over 110. The hotest it got was 113 two days in a row.
  11. I probably would drive no more then 7 hours for a coaster. I have done that going to Vegas and there was gambling besides the coasters. It was a joint trip. Anything longer then 6 or 7 hours and I would fly. I have flown on weeks notice to Houston last year when I heard that Astroworld was closing. I have taken two 11 hour flights soley for coasters, one to Japan and one to the UK.
  12. Good job on the PTR. I guess I will have to haul your butt down to LA next week for the party now.
  13. This thread has gone 11 pages in about 8 hours. You would think we are a bunch of Acer's the way we're talking about food!
  14. 4/10 for me. Guessed on every one!
  15. I think the problem with ND is that it is seen as a rip off of Disneyland. Someone thought they could copy the original on a budget. Probably when the park was new it looked a lot like Disneyland did then. I have pictures of Disneyland from 40 years ago and it looks nothing like it does today. There has been lots of retheming. I think one of NDs problem was that they never invested in the park to update the attractions and the other was to copy the original. Sure they added a few coasters but they should have updated or replaced the others. It is sad that we are losing Aska, the best wooden coaster in Japan. As for the Jananese ride ops, they beat their American counter parts hands down. They were excellent in all the parks we visited in Japan. Even the old and run down ones.
  16. How are you going to work the preference for the people who went on the awesome UK trip? Are you going to give us 2 weeks or a month to get our deposits in? It wouldn’t be fair to have a UK participant say he wants to go 6 months down the road and bump someone off the trip. Japan or Spain/Italy …. This is going to be a tough choice
  17. I want to know why we didn't stop there on the UK tour!
  18. The only problem I see with it is that it is unsightly at the moment. It looks like someone forgot to treat the welds after they were welding. Untreated metals can rust in a day. It takes a long time for corrosion to set in and that’s when you have a problem. That could take many years depending on the composition of the steel used.
  19. I second Robb's opinion. I found the UK and Europe to be more expensive then Japan. As for air fare, the cost was the same for me flying to tokyo or London from the West coast. Darn you Alvey's for planning 2 great trips overseas next year!
  20. I kind of recall a while back that in someones PTR of 6FMM? They had a picture of Disney stuff in one of the stores.
  21. Dude You Know that the last page of your report is probably a Federal Offense depending on what size that money actually printed out at. Oh yeah, they locked that thread in the UK section linking to this one because your white! Pound it!!!
  22. The other half of the pics. The park is nothing like I remember growing up with. A little more run down. Maybe with the money they are going to start dumping into the zoo will spill over into the rides. and to end this update, Casey, tackle Ryan!!! there used to be animals in here Ryan trying to eat it more great theming Ryan bad! Ryan pounding the ..... STOP! Ryan pounding the witch Ryan pounding the rabbit I think this is where the park is headed Playing Captain Jack Sparrow I think Ryan was praying this day was about over or for us not to get mugged. more nice theming Ryan wasting $4.00 entry fee and $2.00 for a map In Fresno we park were ever we want Ryan having way to much fun with the duck The clown is sad the coaster was closed too! More nice theming This was worth the 2 tickets! Nice theming. I don't understand lights on a coaster when the park is not open at night. Looks like it hasn't run in a while but it was closed. Ryan is very sad! The credit we came for. I remember the coaster being a lot bigger when I was little one of the cups is missing. The Tea Cups have seen better days We don't read Spanish so we didn't know what was going on here. Ryan trying to get into the bathroom were little boys get molested
  23. Not really, Frenso itself for the most part it just one big ghetto. That park is a great representation of the ghettofab that is Fresno! Yeap, the ghetto extends North to include San Jose and South to Bakersfeild
  24. But this park is in central California, not a far away country
