Spinning wins, I just like spinning rides in general, but Tree Top Racers is pretty awesome as mice go.

TPR's Middle America and IntimidaTOUR 2010 Trips!

I gotta do that Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride, anything with dinosaurs has to be good, and the fact it looks kinda cheesy makes it better. I'm gonna go to Universal and get on Jurassic Park-The Ride just to console myself. -
Futuristic dinosaurs, sounds like one of those Skittles contradiction commercials.

Tatsu is the only ride at SFMM where I have seen the crew playing with their cell phones. Of course, the laughing and talking about who's hooking up with who and all that is totally unprofessional too. I think Tatsu has the only crew that makes me feel "unsafe", like they are to busy fooling around to do their job properly. I think they should offer a reward for any guest who can bring them a picture of the crew on any coaster using their cell phone. People will do anything for free stuff, and it would put the ride op's on notice that they are being watched.

Ok, my son, who is 2, just rode his first coaster this month, Timberline Twister at Knott's. He really loved it and it's a good intro for a kid, its got a little kiddy airtime and a real lift hill. The coaster my my older kids really loved when they were little was Percy at SFMM, again it's like a small version of a real coaster and the train theming helps for kids who are a little timid to ride a coaster. Of course Disneyland is great for kids, because of the low height requirements on all of their coasters. Sidewinder at Knott's also has a 42" requirement, but is a solid coaster even for adults, just intense enough to be thrilling, but not scarey for a kid. And we can't forget Dragon Wagons and Wacky Worms, those are always good. Thats all I got, hope it helps.

Probably Montezuma's Revenge and Big Thunder Mountain, just for the fact i've always liked them and they have been there for so long. I always tell my wife I'm going to the bathroom when we are in Camp Snoopy and run over and ride Montezuma. As for Big Thunder Mountain, it's one of the few coasters I'm willing to wait in a long line for.

New Attraction for Belmont Park

The email from the park says it's called Control Freak and it will be open at the end of the month. I got a coupon for a free ride that says its good the 23rd. 48" height requirement and 5 bucks per person. -
Again, probably the wrong thread, could probably retitle it to be more about fitting on rides, but then again there is probably a thread about that already too. In any case, I will let the admins handle that and just tell you that using a meal replacement shake for one meal a day and switching breakfast to something low fat (oatmeal?) works. With a little exercise you can lose a couple pounds a week.

Jon's 2012 Coaster Season - WI State Fair

The behind the scenes tour looks like it was awesome, I love looking at old junk. -
From what I've seen, and sometimes it even says it on the machine, the adjustment of the tension on the claw machine is set by the manufacturer. What the vendors actually do is bend the claws with vise grips. Of course, at some point they gotta let people win. If people see the same prizes in there for a week, they stop playing. I've actually seen a trend at fairs, where the prizes totally suck, but are really easy to win. So, kids keep puttin in dollars, because they win 25 cents worth of crap each time.

If this was any other event that got rained on, it would have been ruined, but with TPR it becomes "epic". TPR even makes rain fun. Wish I could have been there, but the updates are awesome, keep um comming.
