One more note while on the subject of how Buzz fits, and again rumors and speculation, but I've also heard they might theme it more like Sci-fi than future, which I think would give them a lot more leeway in what they could get away with and still be within the theme. I think all the rumors are basically saying that Disney knows they want to change it, but they haven't yet decided what directions to go.

^^^If you never rode it, why the nostalgia, when I see the track i think of the people movers that were there for many years, not rocket rods, which a lot of people don't even remember. I have heard rumors of returning the rockets to their proper place, but of course all the old stuff has been removed and it would take a major project to do that. Also, there have been many plans to use the existing People Mover track for another ride, I have heard everything from theming it The Incredibles to Tron, even Star Wars. From what i understand the track is still useable and I have heard from some of the monorail drivers that they have seen the track being looked at, but for what reason they don't know. Anyway, all rumor and speculation as far as i can tell, at least for the moment.

Went again today for the official open, I sat on the outside right, a few rows from the back of the second car, I highly recommend this spot. Kong and the dinosaurs were right in my face, people were screaming as the dinosaurs attacked. If hadn't mentioned before kong moves back and forth from one side to the other, and there are a lot of things going on, not just Kong. Also, it seemed totally different from the left side than it did on the right, so I'm thinking you could ride this multiple times, in different spots and get a different experience. It didn't bother me that I saw the bottom of the screen, the giant dinosaur in my face kind of made me forget about it.

Something just occurred to me, am I correct in thinking that we did see Elissa eat a hotdog with the skin on, but did not see her eat McDonalds? Isn't that one of the signs of the apocalypse? -

Shooting is never pointless, In fact, "It's a small world" should be a shooter. -

That looks awesome, I for one like the color, It's nice to see a coaster that doesn't look like a circus clown crapped it out. The soccer girls was a nice touch, although if you put them in front of a coaster, I'm sure there are a lot of people on this site who would walk right past them and be drooling over the lift hill. -

^Just to clarify, we are talking about Coca-Cola right? -
As i said before the sign in front say's "in technical rehearsal" and that it may close at any time. I saw the same thing Saturday with them having some trams go through and some trams pass. My tram actually went inside and then the driver wasn't sure if we would actually be able to go in because theres an exit before the actual attraction that was open. In any case, it's awesome, awesome enough to be a stand alone ride if it were longer. As much as i miss the old Kong, this is one hell of a replacement. Oh, and Jaws is up and running again too.

Capones are good for a short smoke, I like backwoods too, but nothing beats a pipe full of rum tobacco.

Starting a roller coaster club at college

That sounds cool as long as it was informal, i mean maybe a couple meeting to discuss what's going on and where to go. I remember a couple trips to theme parks when i was still in school which were awesome, but could have been better if we had planned them a little (transportation, discounts, money, etc.). -

I like how Piers pops up at the end of the report like a plot twist in a soap opera. -
Ok, this was answered during Q and A at WCB. First off they said that since the ride hasn't been open for so long that it would have to be re-inspected by the state as if if were a new ride, and it would not meet code. Also, it would be too expensive to retrofit. They also said that there were plans at one time to use the track for the Thomas Town train, but again after they did some research they found that this really wasn't an option. So in short they said it would never run again.
