  1. I like the rapids! Very nice how the bumpers go all the way under! The station for the floorless is awesome, I totally see what you are trying to do and it's awesome!
  2. Hey guys, I have a quick question about Great Adventure. Me and my friends are going and we have a parent driving us there and dropping us off and picking up. The question is, does the parent have to pay for parking to drop us off or pick us up? Or is there a designated area for this? Thanks in advance!
  3. When I went to CP I was terrified to get on MF or TTD not gonna lie, I forced myself into the line for MF and waiting for it was just as terrifying and when I got to the station I was a nervous wreck but I locked myself in real tight as fast as possible and just sat there so I couldn't chicken out and I ended up loving it, trust me i've been where you are now MF feels no higher than a hyper coaster IMO. So then I said hell TTD is only a little bit higher and faster so I forced myself in line for that and I ended up loving it as well. And if you don't like it the first time it's only 30 seconds to a minute and you never have to do it again. Height is only a concept and your mind isn't going to notice much difference between 200 to 300 unless you overthink and let it. Hope that helped
  4. I personally think stapling on these rides is almost necessary. I rode Apollo during the summer in the back row with my restraint not stapled and the first drop was amazing as I floating but when we hit the twisting dive before the helix, I was really bounced around floating inbwtween the seat and the clamshell, I felt safe but it was a bit scary and now I see why stapling is done.
  5. I liked Lady Gaga's performance and her song with Elton. Some of the winners were like "huh" though. lol
  6. http://disneyandmore.blogspot.com/2010/01/sneak-peek-at-hkdl-expansion-with-new.html The 5th picture down shows a halfpipe coaster, but it doesn't look Intiamin. And the car design would fit the big train of the Vekoma big air train design. Just a thought, any opinions? EDIT : It was also make sense because Disney has a history with Vekoma. Rn'R, EE, DLP's BTR, All their kiddie coasters were built by Vekoma, so this would make sense.
  7. It took me a few looks to see that it was not NL lol. It looks really amazing, keep up the good work! I love the multi-car euro-fighter trains.
  8. I think a water playset would be alot easier and less problematic, I remember seeing a great one with working slides in a Great America recreation. Maybe if the ship gets too problematic a pirate themed water play structure would be better
  9. I've heard of observation towers becoming drop towers and I was wondering if the Space Spiral at Cedar Point could undergo a transformation into a drop tower as well. Are there specific factors in weather the change could happen?
  10. Wicked Twister is an awesome ride at night. I love when you go up the first spike and when the train stops and there is no noise and it feels like you hang there forever.
  11. Hrmmm My list would have to be : El Toro - For some reason it's alot more intense. Wicked Twister - Just plain awesome. Nitro - Into the backwoods. Big Bad Wolf - out of control. Bizzaro/Medusa - the effects are so much better at night.
  12. I can be all three. I absolutely love a full train of people screaming, not the fake people being stupid screams, but the genuine screams that a ride gets out of people. I love El Toro even more because it's so awesome riding it with a train of screaming people.
  13. It doesn't have to be due to forces you know. The ride could be under heavy use of strobes or fog which aren't good for extended periods of time. It might have nothing to do with the forces exerted by the ride.
  14. Griffon and Sheikra, sure the drops are fun but both the coasters are short and more of an attraction than a ride. They're more of spectator pieces. I know when ever I was near Griffon during my trip to BGW, the bridge and areas surrounding the coaster were always FILLED with people. Don't get me wrong, I love both coasters, but are they that amazing.... no.
  15. How does this ride work exactly from an ride op pov. It seems like you'd need really heavy training just to load the train in the time frame.
  16. If they really announced that idk if i'd be for or against it. I want such an attraction to come into existence but only to a park that can really pull it off.
  17. Water coasters actually have wheels on the boats with upstops, guide and road wheel assemblies, that at one point during the course thread onto a track. JTA has an entire coaster section in the dark. Dudley Do Right's drops are tracked, the logs thread onto the track then detach for the free floating section. for the DD:Falls, I think they have upstops but they don't thread onto a track they just keep the boat from falling off the drop and jumping out of the splash lake.
  18. I think they put a much bigger emphasis on a commercial space flight story with the update and the way they did everything.
  19. She's a genuine female it's been confirmed numerous times. ---- I want to see what the worlds first aspect of this ride is.
  20. Also, the theme is set in space.... where us people can't breathe.... so a queue inside a space station makes alot more sense lol. I am a fan of the unrealistic and loved watching the rockets.
  21. These are absolutely amazing...... i'm speechless, you have some real talent.
