I have a question, forgive me if it has been asked but does HP:FJ ever turn upside down during the course? I can't make heads or tails during the video. -
What is your favorite launch coaster?
Retro_Gaga replied to EuroTre's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It's a three way tie for me between BTR:The Chiller, Storm Runner and Wicked Twister. -

Sounds awesome! Can't wait for some screens -
I used to experience the same thing you did, after riding B:TR multiple times, my body got used to it. I no longer grey out, but i always get the tingling in my feet when whipping around the final turn into the breaks. It's not harmful to you and it's something that happens alot. Should it stop you from riding B&M inverst, absolutely not. You'll be fine on them, they're great fun too.

Does your home park lose its luster?
Retro_Gaga replied to jamesdillaman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This was on my mind yesterday after leaving SFGAdv. I guess after ride everything so much it just starts to lose that feeling. I remember when my parents told me we were going to great adventure, i'd be so excited because we didn't do it often. Now that i'm older and go much more often, it's losing that feeling to it. -

That is an amazing loading zone. I love the look, I hope they actually complete it to be as close to the rendering as possible. -
I personally like Darkastle better because I just like the darker setting. When entering the queue for Darkastle you can tell by the architecture and theming that it's a darker mood. The storyline is a bit darker than spidermans. I liked the feeling of being nervous as the car was swinging around and I was waiting for the next big scare, even though there is none. I think Darkastle's atmosphere is alot because you have that creepy feeling all the way through the queue. Spidey's atmosphere really kicks in when the vehicle departs the station. Both rides are amazing and really can't be compared. I love both as Spidey is a great ride as well as Darkastle, it's all about personal preference.

Legend looks absolutely incredible..... i'm speechless, you should throw in a futuristic city land too. I'd love to see how you do that. -
RCT2 Downhill Breaking?

Still trying yet nothing seems to work. I know somehow it's possible, I just can't figure it out lol. -
RCT2 Downhill Breaking?
Retro_Gaga replied to Retro_Gaga's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
No, but it keeps saying that the circuit must be completed before testing. I don't know how to get it to work. -
RCT2 Downhill Breaking?
Retro_Gaga replied to Retro_Gaga's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
It still says that the circuit is no complete. I'm using a tutorial on how to merge 2 different tracks for different coaster types, not 2 of the same. I'm not sure where to go from here. -
RCT2 Downhill Breaking?
Retro_Gaga replied to Retro_Gaga's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^^ Ok i'll try that, but is there anything that changes when merging a coaster with the same track type, do I use the original coaster and build it so it's turned around and over the gap or do I use another coaster to close the gap? -
RCT2 Downhill Breaking?
Retro_Gaga replied to Retro_Gaga's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Ok so, the regular track and backward lift merged perfectly, but when I go to test the ride it tells me that it's not a complete circuit probably because it the tracks aren't going the same way it doesn't register. Can anyone find a work around to this, because i'm not good with hacks. I'm still trying to figure it out. -
RCT2 Downhill Breaking?
Retro_Gaga replied to Retro_Gaga's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Oh, i'm not sure about that, i'm not good with hacks I was just throwing out the idea. This concept seems to work on a flat coaster track with a launch where the ride hits the lift in reverse and is slowed and eventually reluanched. I didn't know if this could be done, thanks for the answer! -

I actually too was making a chiller recreation too when the idea popped into my head. I hope someone is able to do it. -
I was thinking maybe I found a way to do downhill breaking like on many rides today. I don't know how to do it so if you want to try it's up to you lol. Here was my idea. Make a track with a downhill section leading into the station or onto a flat break run. Then merge that track with a backwards track with a chainlift going the opposite way of the downhill slope. Set it to a high speed so it's slows but still can roll off the hill without being launched backwards. That's the idea, I don't know if it will work, so if anyone wants to give it a try go ahead.
