Looks a bit more well-polished than the Disneyland version. Pretty much exactly the same but I noticed the displays seemed to have more "life" to them. Then again, the Launch Bay bored me to tears as it's essentially a prop garage so I was only in there for 10 minutes. The new Jakku scene in Star Tours was excellent, though! I loved the callback to the original, far superior, Star Tours, when Finn comes on the side screen and says, "Star Tours?! What are you doing here?!" Also another callback that you really need to pay attention for, "Brakes! Brakes! WHERE ARE THE BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKES?!" Unfortunately the rest of the ride is still a steaming pile of crap compared to the original, but that's the way my brain works.

What's your most annoying ride song

They changed just enough for it to not be copyright infringement. One note change is the difference between paying royalties or abusing the privilege. For further information, look up Vanilla Ice vs. Queen and David Bowie for the use of Under Pressure. I could also be completely misinformed and they did buy the rights to it. How the heck should I know? I hardly care enough about coaster music to research the history and usage rights behind it. It's still a horrible song. Cedar Fair straight up used a well known song that they bought the rights to. At least it's a good song. -

^ It won't help unless they change the trains. The cars shimmy diagonally. It's unbelievable how bad it is. -

That's the Mortal Kombat theme. Guess I shouldn't be surprised Six Flags won't spend money for somehting semi-original. -
Which coasters are the "most fun" to ride?

You know what? I'm gonna go ahead and say Leviathan at Sea Paradise. Yeah, the Togo that has absolutely no right to be as awesome as it is. Shockingly smooth and full of airtime! -

Sooooo, according to Screamscape, Thunder Run will get a VR headset in 2016. It won't be free, though - http://screamscape.com/html/canada-s_wonderland.htm I'm not a fan of upcharges and you certainly won't see me paying extra money to put on a headset worn by a bunch of other sweaty park-goers, but that's me. Someone wanna tell Lance that the ride already does and always has run two laps? -

[youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Do spiels count? I so I vote California Screamin'. The actual onboard audio is great but the constant NPH station narration is awful. -

When I was there in November, Hyperspace Mountain was in it's third day of operation. It opened on Monday, I was there on Wednesday. We got into the park 5 minutes before the rope drop and EVERYONE was going straight into Tomorrowland. We went directly to Hyperspace standby because the Fast Past distribution line was already down to the old Peoplemover hub. Got on the ride within 10 minutes. When we got off we immediately circled back round to grab a fast pass for later. The line was gone but our fastpasses were for 2:30pm. It was 9:15am at this point. You can guess how much longer it was until there were no more passes for the day. Moral of the story, jump in standby first thing then get your fastpass after your first ride. You'll get two rides on it and hardly have to wait.

So far I've had an iron stomach. Aside from being very ill with a fever and all the other fun stuff, I've never had to return my lunch to the ground from whence it came. That being said, I'm getting older and things may change. -

^ Magic Mountain is a completely Russian Roulette kind of place. You go there blind because there is no advance warning for anything being open or closed or when they'll open. Disneyland you should be golden. You'll miss the psychotic holiday crowds but you'll still have to deal with locals, though that isn't horrible as long as you like single rider lines. Haunted Mansion Holiday is incredible and worthy of multiple rides. Jingle Cruise gets a lot of flack but personally, I loved it. I've always been a massive fan of The Jungle Cruise and the bad jokes and Jingle Cruise just changes the jokes and adds pretty decorations. Ride it more than once to get different skippers so you can see the range of hilarity. When I visited a few weeks ago we got a skipper who was extremely into it and I was in tears laughing, then we went back at night and got a skipper who was playing it up as a tired, bored, veteran and I was still in tears because he delivered the lines with perfect timing and inflection. "Yeah, Jingle Cruise, that's what we're doing...for the holidays...yup...jingle cruise...yay..." Knott's will be deserted. Go wild.

Silver Bullet at Knott's. The last of the great B&Ms. Not the most intense but I can't help but have a huge, goofy smile on my face the entire time. I swear it was designed by Intamin the way it flows so perfectly between elements rather than the typical B&M design of "put this element there, then put this element after it." -
