Cedar Point (CP) Discussion Thread

^ Have you ridden a dive machine? They're nice, don't get me wrong, but there's nothing intense about them. -

^ So they're expanding the themed area to include the S&S tower plaza. Looks good! Hopefully those flamethrowers on top don't get axed. Fire makes everything better. -

Nah. The option to fantasize about a new, awesome attraction is way more satisfying than accepting the reality of another B&M gentle giant. -

A tilt coaster? What in the world gave you that idea? Are you talking a tilt coaster like Gravity Max or something else that'd maybe make sense? -
Now that you mention it, that is a definite issue when taking children along. I completely forgot that each seat is walled on three sides. I was thinking Gringotts was "scarier" due to more big, scary things coming after you, but being alone is in some cases more scary. And if the younger child gets the "lucky" seat that has the dragon's head inches away from you when it blows fire at the car, well, that'd be traumatizing.

They wanted a smooth ride. -
I mean, let's be honest here. Hookers and blow aren't that hard to come by in Cincy. Good looking hookers, however, are another matter altogether. Ya gotta have standards, which is why I dabble exclusively in high-end escort services. That's how I met Alexxxis. Her friend, Cinnamon, was also quite the catch. One night I was feeling particularly squirrely and I got Alexxxis, Cinnamon, and their pimpette, Miss Trix, to join me in the champagne room. The rest, as they say, is history.

Oh good lord that's awesome. -
It really is sad that this has been the general state of all new attractions ever since Comcast took over. That was back in 2009. Since then we've had - Uni Hollywood - Kong 360, Transformers, Despicable Me, Fast & Furious. Uni Florida - Despicable Me, Transformers, Hogwarts Express, Escape From Gringott's IOA - Forbidden Journey Don't get me wrong, they're fun enough attractions, but minor variations of the same idea is getting horrendous.

^ Just make sure you have it the proper way. Slowly melted and scraped off the wheel onto bread. If you just eat it like a charcuterie plate you're doing it wrong. -

See, here in the good ol' US of A, we only have two major amusement park companies that put thought into themeing. Disney and Universal. In Germany it's the exact opposite. Phantasialand, Europa, Heide, etc, all have extraordinary themeing on display park-wide. It's a wonderful place full of schnitzel, beer, broads, and coasters. -

Really? I've always found them to be very tame rides. Fun, of course, and I always will ride them if given the chance, but tame. -
