You sir, are on. Seriously though, from a Jackson fan's perspective this sounds interesting and exciting, but from a theme park fanatic's perspective it sounds over the top and a little silly. But if they are actually serious about developing this park in the next decade, I will definately be following the project every step of the way. Although, I fail to see this as a major competitor to other parks in the area such as Great America, so far I just see it being popular with Jackson fans and small amounts of the rest of the GP. Also, I'd much rather like to see a "Black or White", "Smooth Criminal", or even a "Scream" (despite confusion with SFMM) themed coaster than "Thriller".

If the show comes to EPCOT this summer, I'll die of happiness. I've been a huge MJ fan since I was six years old, around the time Invincible came out and thus far, the closest I've come to experiencing the film is listening too "Another Part of Me" off of Bad and "We Are Here To Change The World" off of The Ultimate Collection (and I swear I'm still the only one in Long Island who actually owns that 5 disc set). I even still remember the MJ fans a few years ago who were petitioning to have this released on DVD; a flippin' 16-Minute short film! Since I'm possibly going to Universal Orlando this summer, I wouldn't mind at all taking a quick stop to EPCOT to see the short film multiple times in a row. Even if the admission for one day is sky high, I'd start saving up the minute they announce it at EPCOT.

It's my Birthday today! Already got $35 in iTunes cards and seventy regular dollars that I'll either blow on a DVD/CD or put into the bank. I'm also getting a hefty paycheck from work in a few days! Talk about your hot streaks!

I literally just installed Windows 7 last night and so far my thoughts are mixed. First off, I never had any major problems with Vista or XP, so I probably won't be braced for any impact I may or may not get with this new operating system. So far all of the programs work smoothly, but it's going to take a while for me toget used to the new format of things. The next few months will hopefully not be a problem as long as I get all of my old files (which mostly contains iTunes music and lots of my pictures from theme parks) situated here. Here's hoping...

Am I the only one who was surprised that Miyazaki's "Ponyo" wasn't nominated for Best Animated Feature? Also, even though it was impossible at the time, I really wish "This Is It" was eligible for Best Documentary. Oh well, either way James Cameron is innevitably walking away with a butt-load of awards that he doesn't even deserve and Pixar will win at least one award which they do deserve, very much. PS: If Transformers 2 wins Best Sound Mixing, I'll cry.

I can't believe how incredibly late I am on this development, but this whole thing can be seen in 2 different lights: BAD LIGHT: Six Flags is shutting down a park for the first time in years and it shows how bad the situation is for them after they declared Chapter 11. GOOD LIGHT: (Hopefully) If Kentucky doesn't actually do anything with the park in the future, the company can haul all/most of these rides to other parks for the big 5-0 in 2011. Or do I sound too hopeful and stupid?

I've gotta go to work now.

It's great to see that the track has finally arrived and being assembled. Unless they work nonstop for the next three months, I'm doubtful that it will be completely finished by by May. I guess time will tell. By the way, does anyone know if the trains have arrived by now?

If Conan moving to another channel is the only thing available for him, than I'll be watching every episode of the new show.

Glad to see some long overdue development in this whole Coney Island ordeal. As long as Zamperla keeps the original, classic theme of the area and combines just the right amount of new and more exciting rides and entertainment, they can make Coney Island a really big hot spot once again. And I still can't believe I'm defending a park in which the only time I ever went, my beloved iPod was stolen from my car.
