  1. I just use an HP Photosmart 315 Digital Camera for taking pictures in the parks. It may be old and may not have the best zooming features, but it is small and sturdy enough to stay in my pocket every single time I go on a coaster. From Kingda Ka to X2, it never even budges!
  2. First Park and First New Park: Adventureland, NY (today, April 1) First Coaster: Ladybug Coaster First Flat: Frisbee
  3. It's a shame that I never was able to see a game at this stadium, especially since my mother is a huge Mets fan and we go to about a game a year (even the last game at Shea which was pretty cool). I'm also not a huge baseball fan, but it's so terrible that we keep tearing down all these stadiums in New York (Yankee, Shea, Giants Stadium) which have become landmarks in a way themselves. Oh well, out with the old and in with the new (sigh).
  4. ^ Likes Chess < Likes Checkers V Likes Rally's
  5. ^ROFL Judging from these pictures, Busch Gardens has done a very good job with this, and it looks like a lot of children this summer are also going to bee very happy. (But not the coaster whores with that height restriction)
  6. Voodoo- Queen + Paul Rodgers
  7. The only one I've missed was a real heartbreaker for me (with a long story, too!): Chiller at Great Adventure, in 2007 no less! Myself and a few friends went to Great Adventure in early May of 2007 as part of a school trip and Chiller was the first roller coaster we stopped at. A few of my friends decided to go on the Robin side (the only one that was opened at the time) while a few others decided to wait because they were afraid. I actually went ON THE LINE for Robin, and I was about 3-4 TRAINS AWAY FROM ACTUALLY GETTING ON THE DANG COASTER, but somehow, one of my friends convinced me to not go on it and wait with the rest of us. We waited for a good 20 minutes (given Chiller's loading time with only one train and whatnot) just staring at that steel mess and listening to it's load roar until our friends finally got off. When I went to the park on my own that August, I found out that both coasters were SBNO and I said to myself "Oh well, better luck next year..." Turns out there wouldn't be a next year for Chiller.
  8. It's nice to see that B&M Hypers are not becoming a lost art and can also have great, new themes to them. The pictures above are also pretty spectacular, great work! Can't wait for the early review of the Kings Dominion one! Also, when I read that they show the video of Dale's final race on a continous loop, I laughed so hard.
  9. Smooth Criminal- Michael Jackson
  10. No, nothing really comes up to mind. Do you think Apple will eventually invent music-related brain chips?
  11. If anybody is actually interested, the park released their new 2010 Facts/Highlights/Park Update sheets a few days ago. They can be viewed right here: http://www.greatadventurehistory.com/Forums/index.php?showtopic=2083
  12. No, not right now at least. Have you ever seen the movie "Tron"?
  13. Does anyone know if Houdini is going to be open in 2010 because of it's popularity during Fright Fest last year? It most likely won't, considering the other rides that will be SBNO in 2010 so far, but I just want to make sure.
  14. Stranger in Moscow- Michael Jackson
  15. Why do I have the feeling that the Alec Baldwin-George Clooney stare-off at the beginning of the Oscars will become an internet meme?
  16. Impressive, I'll be interested to see how much progress these guys will make in such a short sounding period of time (about 83 days from today if I'm not mistaken). If everything goes off without a hitch by Memorial Day Weekend, that will have to be some kind of new record.
  17. If you mean the Mad TV sketch then yes, especially since I work at a fast food place myself. Have you ever used Windex to clean your DVD's or CD's before? (I hope I'm not the only one.)
  18. Jam- Michael Jackson
  19. Only 8 days until the door of theme park heaven opens! I hope I'll have enough to get my membership by then.
  20. Torture- The Jacksons
  21. 11/20 Oh well,better luck next time!
  22. $5 says that at least 10 people of the GP will think that the park got rid of Dueling Dragons and replaced it with Dragon Challenge.

  24. ^ Uses DVDs. < Uses Blu-Ray. V Uses Laserdiscs.
  25. Nice work, I love these incredible pictures. It's always impressive to see what a famous theme park looks like covered in a blanket of snow. Can't wait for the season to begin.
