Thanks for the advice. For this trip, since it is just me I will probably go to SFOG and in the future I will take the family to Dollywood.

I am thinking of planning a visit to Dollywood or Six Flags over Georgia. Right now, I only have enough time and money to visit one or the other. I live about an equal distance from both. If you could only choose one to visit, which one would it be?

This is why I really can't stand the news and early speculation. From what I gather this article was created with the headline attempting to make people believe that "There is a miscalculation of the weight of the anchor" and then if you actually read the article is says that inspectors have discarded that theory? Or am I reading it wrong? Here's an idea news people - how about reporting on something when you have REAL NEWS to report - not just making headlines for the sake of making headlines? But then we all know the purpose of the news is 90% fabricated drama, because everyone loves drama and 10% factual news. --Robb The way that I am reading it, it says that "The anchor does not show any signs of rust or deterioration, so they have ruled that out as a cause for the colapse. Therefore the weight needed to anchor the ride must have been miscalculated."

Stubbed my toe on the stage at my church so I am missing half of my toenail. Just donated blood this afternoon. I am currently working third shift after having the last two days off. Needless to say I am a little sore & tired.

I will be taking my son to Disney World for the first time this September. He will be 3 1/2 at the time. I have a friend who took their 6 year old son to Disney World last year. They said that they had problem's getting into some of the attractions at DHS like Indiana Jones because he was too young. Are there any age restrictions in place for WDW besides the listed height restrictions? I could not find anything online to that effect.

I am just going to say WOW!

I received my copy of Roller Coaster in the Raw HD in the mail a few days ago. I never got around to watching it though. On Thursday, I was sitting with my 3 year old son and asked if he wanted to go ride some roller coasters at Carowinds. He of course said yes and was very excited. I then realized that I made the egregious mistake of thinking the park was already open. Thursday was it's last day before Carowinds opened daily for the season. Not to disappoint my son, I told him we could watch some rollercoasters on the tv. I put in the Blu-Ray and hit play. My son is very hyper with a short attention span, but he sat down with me and actually started watching the rollercoasters. The quality is great. Watching the POV of some of the coasters was amazing. My favorite line in the movie was during the Ultra Twister: "This better be filled with awsomeness!"

They probably had it planned that way from the beginning. They aren't going to announce it in an interview though. There would be no suprise.

Every time I see more work done on this, I am really impressed. That is looking really good. The extent of my coaster model building was limited to Knex coasters.
