  1. I just saw Company on Netflix with Raul Esparza. I absolutely loved it. I started it knowing next to nothing about it but was hooked from the beginning. This is the second Stephen Sondheim show that I have seen where the actors are also the musicians. It is amazing to watch them both sing and play the instruments so well.
  2. This contest is hilarious. Chris, I could not stop laughing at the Jurassic Park pic.
  3. I am looking foward to the Sing Off on NBC. I am curious to see how these A Capella groups do. The Sing Off
  4. I always enjoyed the Adventure club when I was younger. I will be disappointed to finally see it go, but I have faith that Disney will give us something just as good in it's place. I don't mind that it won't be back.
  5. Wow, that interactive Sally Corp ride looks really interesting. I would really like to see where those will start showing up.
  6. My sons favorite character right now is Gaston. We have had some trouble trying to explain that he is the Bad Guy and we don't actually want to "Kill the Beast"
  7. I think they were talking about the length of the wall, not the height. But still, this all just sounds like someone sitting in school doodling ideas for a "Really Cool Amusement Park"
  8. They could get a good amount of gasoline and a pack of matches and then they would be able to start a nice bonfire to keep the people of Cleveland warm in the winter.
  9. That looks very nice. Good job.
  10. Voted multiple times on the different computers at my job.
  11. Mike Sign me up for the Steel Coaster league. I will give it a shot.
  12. ^ I don't think that the vast majority of people that would visit the RR would go soley because it held a record. Most would be tourists to that area, and probably aren't even aware of Ferrari World unless they were a coaster enthusiast or traveled regularly.
  13. Wet n Wild Phoenix
  14. When airline tickets can run about $300+ for COACH, do you really think that's smart? If anything you'd lose customers. They already do: http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/business/United-to-Charge-Fat-Passengers-for-Extra-Seat.html
  15. I'd be all for a cross-resort monorail endeavor. Each park and it's surrounding resorts could each get it's on monorail, and then have them all cycle through the TTC. I think this suggestion is the exact opposite of what he was looking for. Considering that monorail costs could be $25 million per mile or more, this could easily be in the billion dollar range to connect every piece of property that disney has at Walt Disney World.
  16. I have never seen that statue of Roy. When was that put in?
  17. "Holy TPR Bag of Crap Batman" Is that what I think it is in my mailbox?! Yes, It is a real life TPR Bag of Crap! They do exist. And look at all of the wonderful goodness that comes flowing out of it: Including my very own Dog Fart Coaster farting dog figurine
  18. Two things: 1. This is very, very sad and I feel very bad for the family. I look forward to hearing about the girl's recovery, and personally, I hope some prosecution is brought to the ride op for negligence. 2. Robb and Elissa were right. --Robb "Why do so many people doubt us?" Alvey 1.) The "prosecution" is being performed via capitalism - the park is folding into foreclosure. (But I know what you mean - especially when the word "negligence" is used) 2.) Your other question, however, I do not have an answer to... The park was going into foreclosure prior to this accident. The two are not specifically related.
  19. No! Clearly you get 8 of them for only $3.99!

  22. This was from someone who claimed to be there: It was posted on the news website comments: http://www.topix.net/forum/source/fox6/T117HONCDTB84VR0A/p2
  23. They mentioned during Coasterstock that the price for the Scarowinds tickets will vary depending on when you go. The weekdays will be cheaper than the weekends and the closer to Halloween then the more expensive it will be. They haven't released exact prices yet though.
