  1. Ahh, so you're a referal spammer.
  2. That is not safe. Have you seen how Vekoma/Arrow coasters enter the corkscrews? Without proper restraint the riders spine could snap. BS. Explain the Flight of Fear, and other Premier coasters that only have lapbars.
  3. ^ Bomb his country into the ground using a thin excuse of WMDs. Oh wait, you said Canada. I don't know then.
  4. And remember to accesorize. Nothing says cool like a satin jacket in addition to your coaster t-shirt. Add jogging pants into the mix and you've got yourself a winning combo.
  5. Yeah, that's what I was figuring as well. Sounds pretty much like a political decision.
  6. ^ The HW one's won't snap. CC's flyer's weren't all that good either.
  7. 1. I "think" you should be able to use your Maxx pass at the Magnum gate. They must be able to sign you in there. Making you go to the front of the park would be really weird. But you might need to ask when you check in, as I don't know for sure. 2. Funday tickets are $32 (so $64 for 2 days). I don't know about the Soak City combo tickets though.
  8. The two weekends after Labour Day I find are the best times to go. I'm going to there on 6th though. Stopping in to ride Maverick on my way home from IB.
  9. Umm, no, the price is in US Dollars. I just clicked again and actually watched my address bar, and when I click that link it takes me to this address: ...which is the UK site and which has the price listed at 398 GBP. Which means if I buy them from the UK site I pay twice as much as if I buy them from the US site! WTF!! I think the site forwards you to the proper site depending on your region settings on your computer. When I click the link it took me to the Canadian site, and lists them at $498 Canadian. I'm totally buying these jeans. And then I'm going to get a 12" lobster sub, get drunk, and eat it while laying on the floor with no shirt on. Then, and only then will I be like the Hoff.
  10. Well there should be a none/I don't know option. I honestly don't know. The only book I remember anything of is "The Lion the With and the Wardrobe". And only because I watched the movie. The rest of the books were read to me when I was like 6. So I can't even remember what happens.
  11. ^ That place is decent. Much better then the crap you can buy at the walk up food places.
  12. I personaly liked Darien Lake better. I found GE to be a stinking hole of a park that I have little intention to go back to. But my opinion of the park is based on annoying locals, and incompentent ride ops. When I was there they had to call maintence out to Comet because a ride op backed her fat ass into the e-stop button and they didn't know how to turn the ride back on. Plus they had 6 people checking restraints and it still took them 10 minutse to dispatch.
  13. Of course. I prefer the back seat ass kicking.
  14. I'd rather date someone who likes theme parks, but isn't obsessed. Why date someone exactly like myself? That'd be boring.
  15. The Canaba/US border is a pain in the ass to cross in either direction. Even on a good day, with no traffic it takes at least 30min to cross at Niagara. And yet rarely ever do I have problems in Detroit. Maybe I'm just not the "type" they'd be looking for in Detroit. This TR of La Ronde makes me slightly more willing to make a credit run up there.
  16. That must have been a pretty traumatic discovery for whoever was sent to fix the pump.
  17. Are you staying at a CP resort? If so the early entry should knock out a couple of the more popular rides. (probably MF and Maverick). Cedar Point's lines tend to be pretty even. MF, TTD, Maverick will have the longer lines though.
  18. Reading tr's makes you an expert on the park then? Going to Maverick first is an alright suggestion, except for the fact that it's at the very back of the park. I wouldn't worry about Maverick's line all that much. I'd suggest starting at the front of the park riding rides you come to as you head back to Maverick. So Raptor, Wicked Twister, Mantis, MF, Maverick, etc. Or if you're in the park for early entry, hit the rides open at the time, and then head for whatever you haven't ridden once the park opens.
  19. "snapping" is when you get the cable to go slack, causing the tub to stall, and then the cable snaps back causing the tub to speed up. When done properly you can get some crazy air on them.
  20. The Midwest parks aren't very tolerant of this method.
  21. Steer right as high as you can go, steer left as far as you can go. When you dive back down swing the sail hard to the right at the last moment. Repeat. It's not that hard once you get the hang of it. Though not all flyers will snap.
  22. 220 hours on Big One? His biggest challenge will be dealing with the boredom. That's probably the easiest endurance coaster he could have chosen.
  23. Carnage

    Problems.

Well if they're really concerned, ask if they want to come along to see for themselves?
  24. A trailer park in Kansas. They're just lucky they weren't swallowed up by a tornado.
  25. Funny, on Canada Day I rode that toilet bowl water slide and it felt like my back was getting ripped open. And Marineland advertisings Dragon Mountain as the worlds largest steel roller coaster. Ontario isn't known for turth in advertising. 401 is Toronto's largest parking lot. Although it's worse in certain areas. The worst area is from Weston Rd. (near the 400), all the way past Yorkdale. That section is total hell. It's because the preview shows your pics backwards. But it will still post them in the correct order. So as long as you add your pics in the order you want, it will post like that. (regardless of what the preview shows)
