^ I've been to Gravenhurst quite a few times. That's where I dislocated my collar bone snow tubing. (tucked my clavicle behind my sternum) Painful flashbacks now.

^ I grew up next to a busy set of train tracks. Same thing, we barely noticed the trains. Only one's we noticed was the passenger train at 5pm and the odd train blocking the tracks. Though the tracks did really hurt the resellability of our house. When we were selling we had people come view the house who wouldn't even come in. They'd just send the agent up to tell us they were skipping because of the train tracks. The joke was on them though, the crack house across the street was MUCH worse then the train tracks. -
^ The plan was a 750ish foot fishhook coaster. Meaning it would drop straight down the tower, and then pull out across the street. So yes the coaster would make quite a bit of noise that the locals could hear. They were going to build it, but it got shot down. Last I heard they were hoping to make a much smaller version. No idea though what the chances of that happening are.
-
^ Only talk though. Seems the locals are against having a loud roller coaster next door.

^ Careful Lou, there's a beast behind you in the fountain that is going to get you!

Hey, at least you didn't go to all 3 London Heathrow Holiday Inn's before ending up at the correct one.

That's quite the mullet you had going there. -

I used to be in to trains growing up. (I lived next to train tracks). Though they weren't so cool when a freight train was blocking the tracks, turning a 100 foot walk into a 30 minute walk. -
Well you've still got time to catch up on all those missed TRs. Have them done in a year and you should be able to pass Tom.

The visual affects of smoking isn't really going to affect wether kids start smoking or not. Besides, with the exception of the odd person who has gotten very sick, the affects of smoking aren't all that visible. I know plenty of people who smoke, and you wouldn't know it by looking at them. The difference between seeing people on the street smoke, and on the screen smoke is that movie stars are role models. If a kid sees some average guy smoking, there will be next to no impact. But if that same kid sees Spiderman smoking on screen, well then he's going to want to be like his role model.

^ I'd say that's just about the only possible way. Physically, a park could build a traditional 500 footer. But it would cost so much that it'd just be cheaper to build an entire park from scratch. Probably the only company that could afford to build such an attraction would be Disney. And they don't build massive thrill rides.

Using CF Maxx Passes at KBF

Well I think I used my 2004&2005 CP season passes at Knotts during Solace. (so the March after CPs season). I just can't remember for sure. I'm having trouble remembering that far back. But I don't think I paid park admission either of those years. -

^ Yes, but a Knotts pass is a bit different. It's an annual pass because the park is open year round. Where as it's a season only up here. On the back of my CW Maxx pass it says : "This Cedar Fair LP Maxx pass is a revocable license to the holder hereof for admission to Canadas Wonderland, and any other Cedar Fair LP park on any regular scheduled operating day of the season for which it was issued..." I'd interpret that as the pass is only valid for CW's operating season. So my pass would not be valid for Knotts at this point, as CW's season is long over. But that's just my guess. You'd have to call to find out. Course I'd expect you to get a different answer depending on who you ask. I'd guess this is one of those things that no one is going to be quite sure of, as it would come up so rarely. -
Tis the season to injure yourself. I sprained my ankle trying to climb a snow bank. Was right before my open bar work Christmas party, but after the pre-party. So I was only half gone by that point. Alcohol, the cause of,and solution to, of all life's problems. Just a bit of swelling.

Nashville Predators. The team that should have been bought and relocated back to Canada. -

It'd be a pretty damn good ride if ends up similar to Nitro. No one expects this ride to turn the business on it's head or anything. It's just going to be a really good fun ride. -

^ It's a joke. The only coaster that would be going there is GL's old kiddy coaster. -
Whatever pointless buzzword Cedar Fair decides to come up with. I still say Maverick being a terrain coaster is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

^ If there's a way I'll find it tomorow at my open bar work Christmas party.

Oh of course. And when you drink too much beer, it's the barley that makes you sick. Not the alcohol.

It probably had nothing to do with it being egg nog. It would be only because of the milk. The human stomach can only handle so much milk. If you drink too much milk you'll end up vomiting. Go home and try and chug a jug of milk if you want to test it.
