Yeah It's the section after the station fly by at the bottom of the turn that part had some jack hammering their. "some" jack hammering? It felt like the train was going to tear itself apart. Good to know that they're retracking that part. I thought Hades was running fairly well with the exception of that turn.

So you think they could both benefit from trains that are nothing more then an idea at this point? We have no idea how those trains will run, so I'd hardly say that new trains are the answer. I'm sure Hades and Voyage have suffered because of the aggressive nature of the rides, not the trains.

I thought it was great. Though I'm a glutton for punishment. Even if it did plant my forehead into Big Mike's bicep, no matter how hard I tried to keep the ride from tossing me like a rag doll.

I guess you didn't experience much of the SNES days where games quite often were over $100. $60 I'd say is pretty decent now a days for new games. Especially considering that video games practically have the same budgets as major movies now.

^ 1-3 on Magnum is only for those who don't mind bruised thighs.

Make sure not to miss the park's smaller flat rides. Wacky Shack, Pirates Cove, log flume, and the drop tower were all alot of fun.

They could remove all sings and people are going to still think it's Paramount. Hell, people STILL believe that the park is moving to Woodstock. One of my co-workers a couple weeks ago asked me if I knew anything about the Transformers roller coaster that Paramount was building. -
Hopefully not in one trip.

Ok, that changes it quite a bit. You need to get out more. -

So your favorite ride of all time is a ride which hasn't even run yet? Don't set your expectations so high that it has no chance of matching them. -
-The most forceful seat on Raptor (back row, one of the end seats) -The most forceful/smoothest seat on Mantis (forceful and smooth contradict. Forceful, probably back row. Smoothest middle of the train) -The smoothest seat on Iron Dragon, and with the most swinging (probably not much of a difference between seats on ID) -The seat on MF that has the best airtime (as far back as you can get) -The smoothest seat on Mean Streak (for Predator at Darien Lake it is the second car, first row - since the magic seat on some coasters can be very discreet, this is why I am asking people here.) (middle of the train, stay of wheel seats)-The seat on Maggie with the best airtime (first car, 3rd row. It's called the ejector seat. It can also be pretty painful though)-The seat on Blue Streak with the best airtime. (back of the train probably) -The seats on Gemini (seats meaning both sides) with the most airtime (probably not much of a difference between seats. Gemini doens't really have airtime)-The smoothest seat on Corkscrew or the seat that gives the best airtime on that first drop. (smoothest, probably middle of the train. Airtime, first seat on the train)

^ That's not exciting enough. Put the nets on the Maid of the Mist.

^ Seems like they're better at attracting protesters. Maybe instead of building thrill rides, they should make it so their animals don't look like depressed death row inmates.
-
^ Maybe they'll stick something over the American side of the falls. Everyone knows that side is the ugly side, so why not stick a thrill ride in the way, leaving the horshoe falls scenic as ever.

^ It was very smooth last year. I believe they retracked that second half of the outwards portion. (the part which was so brutal the year before). Now it's smooth, but going. Roughness I can handle. It was them flattening the two wicked air time hills that killed it. Well, that and when they removed the buzz bars for those typical orange lap bars. Buzz bars can make an average ride crazy. -

It's close, but does not pass over any part of the water park. The closest it comes is when it passes about 50 feet behind the back of the wave pool during the 2nd hill portion. The entire ride is outside the park. One of the parks' wooden coasters Minebuster goes directly through the water park. In fact they even reprofiled some of it's hills to fit in passenger bridges to/from the two sections of the water park. -

As Scott mentioned, Raging Bull is the example of bad trims. (I'm not sure of another B&M that has the uphill trims) The trims on Bull grab hard as you're going uphill, making the train crawl over a airtime hill that should be awesome. When you hit it most of the people on the train let out an "Awwww... ". That's what most of us are worried about. These trims on Behemoth are the same sort of uphill trims used on Raging Bull. So hopefully they aren't used, or used lightly. If they're set to grab hard, then that will hinder the ride. But this is something we don't really know until we ride it. -
New names for Canada's Wonderland's rides

Top Gun is a movie involving F-14's, which were launched from air craft carriers. Air craft carriers have flight decks. Makes sense to me. -
New names for Canada's Wonderland's rides

Because to keep the Paramount licensing it would cost them alot of money. Doesn't bother me that they're dropping the paramount names. Sure some of the new names are bad, but it doesn't really matter. -
$32 I think. (or something like that). I believe the price at the hotels is the same as the discount you can get in the free getaway guide. (maybe $1 or $2 cheaper). But the real advantage is being able to get the tickets quickly at the front desk, instead of waiting in line at the park.
-
I figure a ride like that is highly unlikely. I doubt they're going to stick a tacky amusement park ride over top/in front of the falls. They're not going to mess with the scenic look of the falls.
-
Not only that, but you have to walk up said 150 foot hill to get to the ride. I think it took at least 15 minutes just to walk from the base of the hill to Skyscreamer. Probably the worst part of the climb is when you realize that you're now higher then the top of that 80 foot condor flat ride. (and then realize you're only halfway to the top).
-
I think they're trying for largest area or something. But even that would be a real stretch. There's gotta be a ride out there which covers more area. And the length of tunnels can't be true either. I'm guessing Hades probably does more then 1,163 feet?
-
There is no shuttle from BE though. Unless you want to cab it over, but that would cost money.
-
And parking. The package is kind of misleading, but the parking voucher covers the cost of parking. So that's another $20-$30 value. But as Larry and Elissa mentioned, it's just a matter of figure out if the cost saving's are worth it. Figure out how much you'll have to spend with and without the package, then go with the cheaper option.
