  1. Workin' on a Lagunitas IPA.
  2. BPB is one of the places I want (need!) to visit most. So, I'm over here seething, but simultaneously appreciating the time and detail you put into this report. I wasn't aware of some of those awesome-sounding rides...what a collection. Valhalla sounds terrifying! Shame about the hours, though.
  3. Enjoyed your look at the parks and the commentary. I don't recall hearing anything too bad about Frontier City as of late, but it looks even better than I'd imagined. Does have a bit of an Elitch Gardens vibe. Kiddie Park looks cute; I'm all in favor of places like that (and stopping at them!).
  4. Anyone going to the park on Saturday or Sunday? Any tips or crowd predictions for those days?
  5. I had to count just now, but it looks like that's the plan! I'm usually overambitious rather than conservative when putting together tentative plans, though. Does the weather seem like fall where you are?
  6. That cover photo is fantastic! Congrats.
  7. I totally wouldn't mind riding the Belmont Park Giant Dipper again someday, even though it was nothing to write home about. There aren't that many "star attraction" classic woodies, of any caliber, around anymore.
  8. ^^^I don't know what the deal is with Ragin' Cajun, but it was freakin' awesome at SFGAm! Probably my favorite spinning mouse. Not sure about consistency (rode it, like, twice), but when it spun, it spun!
  9. Sometimes I forget that Oktoberfest is near the top of my wishlist. Then something like this comes along, and I'm suddenly and painfully reminded... Love the shot of the crowds!
  10. Yes; a good number of categories, though I'm definitely missing some that many others have! My biggest accomplishment was briefly catching up on every B&M coaster in the United States, in 2014. Have you bought something pumpkin spice flavored recently?
  11. Nice ride lineup. I was going to say there's nothing I really envy, but damn I want to ride that Huss Flipper. Three-seater StarFlyer?!
  12. Yeah, I've heard...not-good things about Peppa Pig, but it sure seems to make for a cute theme park land.
  13. I...think I see all the sides, because these are my pointless thoughts: a) Yeah, yeah, kids will be kids, every generation (and almost every kid) does stupid stuff....This better not affect the use of fog machines at parks or other places, though. b) Who cares? c) This is dumb.
  14. Yes; three times. (I always forget about the second time for some reason.) Have you ridden every coaster in a state or country where that's difficult to accomplish?
  15. YES! I was obsessed with dinosaurs and paleontology in kindergarten. Have you ever walked through a Dinosaurs Alive attraction?
  16. Nick Universe is the first park I visited with TPR...aww....It's not strictly my 'type' of park, and I don't care about the brands and characters and whatnot, but it's a very well-done, enjoyable place (that flume!). No Back at the Barnyard Hayride? You disappoint me.
  17. No, summer is my favorite time of the year. The other months get too cold and wet. Do you have a favorite month of the year?
  18. Totally! I've always found it to be on the picturesque and relaxing side for a Six Flags park.
  19. Strawberry Pop-Tarts make a very good snack at any time.
  20. Boxer shorts with American flags and sparkly fireworks.
  21. I never paid this coaster the slightest attention, even though I'm very interested in Mack hypers. Sounds like it's a top-class ride! I'd definitely ride backwards at least (and probably only) once--I never miss a chance to go backwards on a coaster if I can help it. I'll be very happy if similar designs start popping up.
  22. I was curious about your opinions since I've realized Thorpe is the one major UK park I'd skip if I hypothetically needed to. I'm glad you had a good visit. Entertaining report as well!
  23. Glad it really is a wooden coaster! The rumors seemed pretty strong, but I felt it best to be skeptical just in case. Now I'm thankful I never fit this park into a past trip. Honesty, I'll probably like this park okay, considering I rode Sesame Street rides at SeaWorld San Diego...
  24. Yes! I enjoy corn mazes; the more disorienting, the better. Are you planning to go to a pumpkin patch this year?
  25. Due entirely to me being awesome*, my next park will be PNE Playland. *Debatable.
