It's Black Friday, so, like, two carloads of stuff...final purchase was a blankie and some Fiestaware dishes at Penney's. (It's a good thing I think words are tasty, since I've been a vocal Black Friday scorner in the past...)
I approve of this use of money.
I know it's Silver Dollar City, but that parade looks way cuter than I would've thought to give them credit for. And Christmas in Midtown looks absolutely stunning. How delightful!
^^^/^^^^Cool! Yeah, I was also wondering if parks generally have estimates of inaccuracy due to people playing with the turnstiles (probably still ends up negligible in comparison to actual ridership), non-riders passing through, and riders not passing through. So you two helped clear up my bonus questions too.
Are ridership counts totally based on turnstile clicks, or are there additional counting methods? It strikes me how impressive it is that they collect such precise numbers, but I'd guess that's pretty much all there is to it.
I'm still game for more Toboggan rides (even though they suck); I've only ridden the one at Little Amerricka, and I'm not adamant on keeping it that way. They are photogenic as all heck, so that's one bright spot in their collective miserable existence.
^I noticed their Chance Herschell Twister is sale pending. Would be interesting to see where that ends up; that ride intrigues me.
Really hoping this is all part of the improvement plans we've known about and not a bad sign.
That's definitely a selling point and a good observation!
These photos are almost making me miss KBF, and it's not one of the parks I'm hugely sentimental about...
In and of itself, I like the name "Incredicoaster." It kind of has this cute, classic, simple vibe to it, almost, like, "Why didn't anyone think of that before?" But with the theme? No thanks. California Screamin' forever!
