The Boomerang Challengecal1br3tto replied to downunder's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! Some Boomerang first drops are fun. And I like cobra rolls. I sometimes really enjoy vertical loops, but they don't really do anything for me on Boomerangs. Likewise, riding backwards can be great fun, but I don't think it's anything special on these rides. I'd never turn down a credit lap, though! A lot of them do have really nice color schemes!

...was the magic phrase necessary to get me to listen to this: That reminded me a bit of MF Doom. I find it amusing that they don't consider themselves horrorcore. Then again, they're not the only artists who don't care to use that label. I just may have to check them out some more! The video was disgusting and I don't believe I'll watch it again.

Chadster's Vacation Adventures: Final Edition!cal1br3tto replied to chadster's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive It's always nice when such a small park has a few halfway decent rides. Tiger Terror reminds me of one of my first coasters. Has anyone ever noticed that it's almost unheard-of for an adult to be able to ride a Go Gator?

The Boomerang Challengecal1br3tto replied to downunder's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! 2 GIBs 1 Invertigo, 1 upcoming 3 Boomerangs, 8 upcoming Boomerang Coast to Coaster (SFDK) Boomerang (KBF) Boomerang (WOF) SFDK's was not noteworthy. KBF's and WOF's were marginally fun.

^^Leftover Crack is one of my all-time favorite punk bands. Among related groups, I recommend Choking Victim and Star F--king Hipsters, but there are a number of others in a similar vein.

I have been a member of Theme Park Review for two years to the day. Crazy, but I'd say it qualifies as happy news! Incidentally, my 1400th post was also my 700th post in the main forum, and this post finally breaks my long-held "tradition" of having at least 50% of my posts in the main forum.

Chadster's Vacation Adventures: Final Edition!cal1br3tto replied to chadster's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive I highly approve of the music in your video. Wonderland looks like it has a charming, old-fashioned vibe and a great collection of classic rides! They also have some unusual coasters. I'm fond of Miler mice and Hopkins loopers (yes, really), so I'm looking forward to visiting!

^Skillet used to be one of my favorite bands! I love the album "Collide". My favorite songs were "Open Wounds" and "My Obsession", but the album really is amazing overall.

Six Flags St. Louis (SFStL) Discussion Threadcal1br3tto replied to Homer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! I'm not the biggest fan of the color coordination between the tower and the "arms". But separately they look great, so I'll gladly forgive them. Overall it's very attractive!

Gröna Lund Discussion Threadcal1br3tto replied to Tobias94's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! That looks so delightfully twisted. I like how they're going with white supports and red handrails for a classic look that isn't so common nowadays. I wasn't sure if white would look good on steel woodie supports, but it certainly does!

Gardaland / Raptorcal1br3tto replied to Schwarzkopf's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! I'll keep in mind that Raptor isn't universally loved. But I still love the theming, especially the headchopper elements! Besides, I'm weird and totally love some of the bigger rides that aren't known for being particularly fast or intense.

Europa Park Discussion Threadcal1br3tto replied to Ultracoasters's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys! I've been curious about roller coaster restaurants. How convenient (and appropriate) to have one at a theme park!
