  1. What? I would love to see KK Holiday World-ified. Then again, I would like to see it reopen in any form that includes coasters. I wonder what the chances of this really are. I suppose it would be best not to get one's hopes up for now...
  2. ^^I actually like SFOT's Batman the best. It was wilder and seemed to throw me around more than most of the others do. I love Titan, too; I think the bonus helix makes it just slightly more fun than Goliath, but they're really about the same as you said. Agreed that Shock Wave is a great Schwarzkopf and a well-rounded classic looper in general.
  3. I wouldn't characterize Worlds of Fun as boring, myself. I enjoyed both the charm (yes, even though it's a Cedar Fair park...most of them are somewhat charming to me) and the ride collection. I suppose it could be hard to fill a day there if there are no lines, though. That said, I personally don't know the logistics of replacing WOF with Silver Dollar City on your itinerary, but I can vouch that it's an excellent park, and I'm sure many would choose it over WOF.
  4. ^^Lookin' good! How close is the track color to that of Possessed's supports? They look so nice together in that shot.
  5. Suddenly there is snow all over the ground. This makes perfect sense, since it's sunnier and marginally warmer than it was earlier when there was light, intermittent snow.
  6. Somehow I feel I'd be disappointed if this happened (although I'm sure it would depend partly on which park it went to, and where it was placed in that park). I think it's because the setting it's in really appeals to me for some reason. Then again, I'm sure a new coaster could use that land equally well; it's not like Bizarro is a terrain coaster.
  7. ^Darn, I missed the good rides by a year. Is it true Screamin' Eagle also ran a lot better last year?
  8. I'm the lap-counting type, but it's hard for me not to second-guess myself, especially during ERT. I'm already starting to know what you mean. In my case, there are numerous places where I need a lot of credits, but there are some achievements I just won't be able to attain again in the future. For example, no more doubling my credit count, or even my wood credits, within a year.
  9. Honestly, I can't help but be a bit freaked out by this. Those pictures are dramatic. Glad I have TPR members around to remind me that cruising is very safe! Just imagine this thread if people here didn't realize that...
  10. ^I wouldn't label myself a fan of Topper Track, but I could see it being appropriate for the Boss since it's so rough. And yeah, I don't think the enthusiast world wants to see any more use of Gerstlauer trains. I don't hate them the way some people do, but they're definitely low on my list.
  11. ^I found a bit at the beginning, but overall I didn't enjoy it too much. However, because my affection for GCIs has grown since the last time I visited SFMM, I'm eager to reevaluate.
  12. ^I was thinking new trains on the Boss myself. Either that or Topper Track. But who knows.
  13. ^That could make sense, since it's at a water park. I must say, though...I hope those don't become too popular.
  14. Fun video! And I couldn't have asked for better improvements to the ride.
  15. Wow, I didn't even realize the ride was complete. Love the theming.
  16. ^Hey, I was happy (in a way) to wait nearly two hours for TTD... Anyway, I'm glad to hear there's a second time of day when it's often ideal to ride X2. It'll be a tough choice, but I'm thinking of heading to Green Lantern first next time I go, because, well, I need the credit and want to get it quick.
  17. ^^Yup. Like X2 and Viper at SFMM. Heck, even when I know what each coaster looks like, sometimes similarly colored ones blend together for me, too, especially in pictures. Not a big deal if I can readily figure it out.
  18. I still need a Superman credit, so I'll be paying attention to the expected re-opening date in case I get over to SFMM this year. Of course, if it's open I'll also have to bank on the correct side being run that day...
  19. I went past the Jersey Shore house this year...it was neat to see, but I didn't feel compelled to stay long. Credit whoring the area sure is fun, though; I still have to get back at some point for more! As for the little quackers, I'll go with...5 duckies!
  20. ^I'll hope for something enthusiast-pleasing, myself...but who knows. Looking forward to finding out.
  21. A Suspended Family Coaster sounds logical. The layout seemed fairly small and simple in the those pictures. It obviously wouldn't be a major draw for me, but I'm all for more credits in the area.
  22. ^Interesting. Anyone know anything about the coaster yet?
  23. I didn't even realize sharks could fly. You learn something new every day.
  24. ^I love GIBs, but I sure won't miss waiting in line for it. It was easily the longest wait of the day last time I was there.
  25. Catching up here...I love the green of the supports, as well as the sometimes-camouflaged track (and the setting, of course). I'm gearing up to (hopefully) really enjoy this ride! Hard to go wrong with a launch coaster, after all.
