  1. I have just discovered Bark-Andre Furry. You are all VERY welcome. 29/10 excellent boy
  2. Sounds like Ratatouille pulled a Magnum.
  3. Well...not this one. Source: it is a Go Gator.
  4. Congratulations on the beautiful new chain lift! Do they always come shipped like that? Awesome picture.
  5. ^Cyborg is definitely both a better and a more appropriate name, but the way they're painting Harley Quinn helps redeem it for me. Granted they could do that with other ride types, but I'm just saying SFOT's is looking spiffy too.
  6. ^At least we can presume that no squirrels were harmed this time. (This a reference to the recent incident at Busch Gardens Tampa, FYI)
  7. ^I noticed that when Cedar Fair supposedly began to enforce a two-consecutive-ride limit chainwide, KI started only allowing one ride in a row. I was wondering if it was just easier to keep track that way.
  8. ^The lighting made me do a double take--looks great! Is it a different lighting package compared to others, or is it standard? Never noticed before.
  9. For me it's more like [cough] [ahem] something something coaster credits Just kidding!
  10. Yup. That triple racing layout just looks cool. And Comet looks like wild classic fun.
  11. ^I've ridden their Wave Swinger in the pouring rain. I only recommend doing that if you really need a shower.
  12. The demand just isn't there anymore, so it's no longer profitable to keep them in stock like they did in the old days. Why doesn't coffee taste as good as it smells?
  13. Very symmetrical twin super viscous translucent saliva pendants!!!
  14. Flight change for a Cleveland, OH to Portland, OR flight. $45.80. Original flight was a DEAL; current is not too shabby.
  15. Great look at Australia so far! It's a place that's definitely on my list for a coaster trip. I can't recall my previous thoughts on whether I wanted to go to Scenic World, but you've convinced me that it's 100% worth visiting despite the lack of an operating coaster (and worse, the sad teasing presence of Orphan Rocker).
  16. Time Traveler photos are so...satisfying. It's still weirdly surprising to see a spinning coaster train do those maneuvers. Count me as another Powder Keg fan. Moreso on my first visit when I was newer to coasters, but I still judge it to deliver. My rankings are borked, but it seems to be at my #30 steel. Great combo of elements, airtime, and views.
  17. I don't care about the theme of this one bit (except to respect that it could be much worse), but I also like the diamonds!
  18. Boardwalk Bullet has one of my all-time favorite layouts. Obviously it's up there in the setting department, too. I've had more good rides on it than bad, and I've been consistently impressed in recent memory--looks like it's my #24 wood.
  19. You take that back right this instant. This is a shame, though. For me it's more because they're classic and rare. Due to single rider bans I've only ridden two of them, and they're kind of uncomfortable, but worth the experience.
  20. It is based on the reddish glow of the morning or evening sky, caused by haze or clouds related to storms in the region. How come some birds can talk like people do and some birds can't?
  21. ^Good point; it's sad how quickly we slid from four classic Miler mice to only two. Otherwise, this is good news. I wouldn't mind making another Denver coaster trip someday. While it's not in great shape and it doesn't have a particularly impressive ride collection, I've always hoped Lakeside continues to survive.
  22. This seems really cool! I like hearing about places that have interesting rides, but escape the attention of enthusiasts because they don't have a coaster.
  23. ^I was hoping that was a joke post. Nope...guess I shouldn't feel surprised though. P.S. I like the reporter's last name.
