Rollercoaster ?

So...Europa Park will open one more Attraction for the upcoming Season. There`s a riddle going on on facebook where more and more Pictures of the new Ride are shown... First I`d like to say that I really love this project...nearly everything about it. But maybe It`s wrong to expect the members here not to bitch about those restraints everytime they pop up again on such a promising coaster...when there are companies like Mack and Maurer who clearly showed that you just don`t need OTSR`s on Rides like this (with probably I305 being the exception). For me, this has nothing to do with negativity but honesty and a real interest in the subject of building (good/outstanding) Rollercoasters...just my two cents. Greeds...GeorgeT

Totally impressed by the Theming. If someone, like me, is into the Fantasialand-Style...then this will be top notch from the beginning. Think I will LOVE to spend some time there...and glad to live in Europe again (sometimes I`m not...looking at the NTG for Example )...

Now that`s interestig. Cause it will take such a huge Amount of Money/Work/whatever to put Holiday Park it in the same league...I really think you just cannot compare...the difference is just too big IMHO.

So, hope that some of you are interested in what will be new at Europa Park in 2011 ! It`s gonna be a year with a few additions for families, especially for kids. Close to the Europa Park Sea, some kind of Fairytale Forest with a Castle and a few different Houses, with Scenes of the Grimm Brothers (are they famous outside of Europe ?) will be build. Europa Park wants People to "enter" the Scenes instead of just standing in front of them...! I have to say this : Though I`m totally NOT amazed by the layout...seeing a wingrider train flying over the course looks a thousand times better/interesting/graceful than ANY normal coaster train. I`m really amazed by looking at that (rubb...rubb...rubb...aaaaaah) !!! GeorgeT

It`s ALWAYS interesting to read, that a coaster won`t be able to beat another one, thouht it isn`t even build. I`m pretty sure that most of the other members would agree, that there are so many things that make a ride, that you just cannot judge by the amout of loops. But no loops at all...man, that coaster is gonna suck for sure, I mean, totally...

I think it looks great ! Yes, it`s short, but what is there looks great...!

If I remember correctly, then R. Mack once said, that apart from a littlebit of extra testing in the Morning during the first Month Blue Fire was NEVER down the first Season. Not even one Minute. This could easily be the Reason for SeaWorld to choose Mack as a Manufacturer. I mean, maybe the reliability of the Coaster was a main Aspect when they had to choose a company to build this...even though Mack is more on the expensive Side AFAIK. And out of the same Reason they might be famous for buying lots of Trains. Just a thought... Greeds...GeorgeT

They saved the name, they saved some money...and this will probably lead to one of the most awesome Ride Experiences the World has EVER seen. Even if they will begin to stabilize the steel supports with a wooden structure...whatever...me, personally, I just have too much Respect to criticise anything about it before I rode it. A Ride Experience can be soooo good so that the looks of it are absolutely irrelevant...And IMHO this is or let*s say could be the case here ! Cheers...GeorgeT

I totally understand if some of you will be dissapointed cause it won*t have any inversions or because of the little height...whatever. BUT it will be a Mack Laucher...awesome Quality, awesome Restraints, incredibly smooth...which could support the feeling to *fly* over the course. Ideed some people said after riding Blue Fire that it feels alot like flying...just because of the Silence and Smoothness of the ride. So if that one will be themed well this could still be a great Coaster ! George *Yes...I*m a total Blue Fire fanboy...and probably not objective at all... T.

Awwww...I would love to see that one going somewhere else... So, hopefully the ride itself will totally suck... GeorgeT

Hey, Holger...OF COURSE WE ARE DISSAPOINTED...WE ARE GERMANS !!! We Germans are truly the World Champions in being dissapointed... Seriously, that*s why I*m loving this community so much...cause most of the Time the People here concentrate of the positive Aspects of Coasters and Parks... When I had the Pleasure to meet up with some Participants of last Years Europe Trip at Europa Park we were riding *Alpenexpress* together. We had a few Rides on different Coasters together, but that was the most remarkable one. I would*t say Alpenexpress is a Meh Coaster...but really nothing outstanding...just a well themed Mack Powered Coaster. But we were totally celebrating the Ride...it was such a fun Experience...never enjoyed that one that much before. It was clear that we tried to make the best of the Ride instead of thinking it could be faster, better, whatever...just pure Fun ! So, thanks for that, Guys...and Sorry for the little off topic... George *my heart is definitively american...but who are my real Parents then ??? * T.

I guess the Question is not if your classic Lifthill has some Benefits...the Goal for a Manufacturer is to be able to deliver as many different Coaster Types as possible...which will probably result in more orders. And, no Question, the market is demanding Launchers... George *happy that more and more Launchers are being build * T.
