  1. Yes, Robin, it^s at Phantasialand....and it^s located in the Mexican Area. It^s called Casa Magnetica ! Greeds...GeorgeT
  2. Well, there*s still all kinds of Theming possible...like that Octopus-Mouth-Thingy, whatever...at the End of the drop...right ??? So no need to worry...I still believe the Mouth WILL be there in the End...and THEN there will be the Splash...! George *having some trust in Heides Adds* T.
  3. The most promising Test Run I ever saw of any Coaster...
  4. Even if the Ride will be short, or in the worst Case just a one trick Pony...I guess we have to keep in Mind that this is *just* an Addition to an already strong and extensive Coaster Lineup. At least if I keep this in mind I*m satisfied anyway... GeorgeT
  5. Well, I guess I can say that most of the Germans are a little unhappy because of the shortness of the Ride. But maybe/hopefully the Theming, especially the Drop into the Octopussys mouth, will make up for it !!! Greeds from Germany... GeorgeT
  6. So, as some of you may know...Europa Park is my Home Park. And because of having a season pass, I guess I visited the Park about fifty Times during the last 12 Month, including the Winter Season. And during those MANY visits, there was never a Ride down...NEVER ! I guess that says a lot about Europa...and of course about the Mack Quality ! Even though I am used to that here in Germany this is still hard to believe... And Blue Fire was the approach to create a Looping Coaster for the WHOLE family...at least from 7 Years on...without overcharging anyone but delivering more thrill that most of the other Coasters at Europa do. Blue Fire is getting by far the highest votes of Europas Attractions in the Polls...so I guess they did a good job, even though some Thrill Seekers are and will be dissapointed. But the whole potential of the Mack Launch Coaster Concept will be shown, when there will be other/faster/bigger Installations. Me, personally...I am TOTALLY looking forward to those...especially because of the unmatched Trains ! GeorgeT
  7. Dear Jordan ! It was really nice to meet you in person. I love the way you are into coasters and parks...and it was a pleasure to show you a little around at Europa (i hope you remember me a little...do you ???). Aside from the fact that you are not nearly the Blue Fire Fanboy that I am I totally appreciate you reviews and opinions..and your honesty ! And of course the love you put in those Coaster Models... I read about everything i found on your website which is GREAT ! Looking forward to read more of your reviews and reports... Gero (aka *GeorgeT*) (Besides...it was probably a Schwarzwaelder Kirsch Cake...cause Kirch would mean something like *Church*...while Kirsch is the german word for Cherry... )
  8. lol... The building is already there...so I guess 5 millions will be fine. And 14 meters...well, maybe there will be more than one lifthill, or a launch, whatever. I think it doesnt sound that bad...looking forward to hear more about it... GeorgeT
  9. I always thought that EuroMir takes the cake (4:33)... but maybe I*m wrong ??? GeorgeT
  10. I was NEVER anticipating anything in the business more than the first reviews of this thing. This could EASILY be a number one ride from the looks. And the airtime one the first hill has to be hilarious...let alone the TREE (!) overbanks in a row ! When there will be first test runs I still wouldnt be surprised if the train will rip the whole structure into pieces... And if noone will be hurt, then I think I wont be able to stop laughing for probably a week (maybe two or three... ) But if its not falling into pieces...if it wont be too rough...then I could easily imagine this one taking Expedition GeForces Steelie-Crown ! George "must...book..flight..to...texas" T.
  11. I totally agree with that. It's such a GREAT element. Could it be it's just toooo good for this world, that is so mediocre in so many ways ??? Well...could this possibly be the worst explanation EVER ??? Anyway... Greeds...GeorgeT
  12. These are probably the most promising construction pics I`ve EVER seen in this forum. That ride will be a total blast if my eyes don`t fool me. Congrats to all of you who live somewhat close to that thing... George "being totally jealous" T.
  13. So, as an absolute amateur...I just like to add that the box design seems to be very solid, too. I mean VERY solid...at least it looks like ! I guess it wouldn`t be any problem using both track designs for a very fast coaster...just my assessment. And yes, me too thinking that that box design looks much better. The whole projects looks VERY promising...but it`s too far away so I hate it... George "so now you all think I`m an expert...aaaaah" T
  14. First and well done on and offride-simulation. Enjoy ! GeorgeT
  15. And there`s the first teaser (very nice IMHO): http://www.wochenblatt.de/nachrichten/isar/regionales/Adrenalin-Erlebnis-pur;art1177,11996,D::sts2112,57 Greeds...GeorgeT.
  16. I`M EXCITED !!! Looking at the layout...this thing might be EXTREMELY intense ! Four classic inversions plus three "upside-down" Elements (at least that`s how the park calls them...looks like three overbanks) and it`s only 483 meters of track. Looking forward to that... GeorgeT
  17. Now this is embarrassing. Cause Ginzo was talking about the "1-2 punch"...and I misunderstood that. I`d like to know which European park has the strongest coaster lineup, and I thought that`s what Ginzo meant, too. So...my first thread and yet a big mistake in it. So sorry. May I hide behind the fact that english is not my native language ??? George "nevertheless hoping for more replies, and thank you for yours Robb and Elissa, oh well, I think this is too much text to be fitted between my first and my last name so sorry for that, this totally belongs somewhere else" T.
  18. So I´d like to take up Ginzos question of the European Trip thread : Is there a park in Europe that can compare with or even beat Mirabilandia coasterwise ? If yes...which park is it...and why ??? What`s your opinion...please explain ! GeorgeT.
  19. The germans, and I`m talking about those who`re very much into coasters, are somehow a little "crazy" for Colorado Adventure...that coaster is getting excellent votes continuously, at least here in Germany. And because those usually find Black Mamba or Winjas to be excellent, if not both, I thought that many people would agree that there are at least two (if not three) very good coasters at Phantasialand. But maybe it`s not comparable to those two really standout ones at Mirabilandia. Greeds...GeorgeT.
  20. As it`s confirmed now that Heide is getting a B&M Dive Machine next year, that could be some serious competition (though it will be a smaller one than Sheikra (for example))...together with Colossos and Desert Race. And I think with Black Mamba, Winjas and Colorado Adventure Phantasialand has three very good coasters in their lineup. And some will still prefer the sheer amount and variety of coasters at Europa. But having two really outstanding coasters at the same park is really rare here in Europe I guess...
  21. So it`s me, being impatient, as always...I was just hoping for Mack to sell a few of those, cause that would mean more money to expand Europa. But I guess there`s enough capital anyway... GeorgeT. (Aaaah...and THANK YOU for the explanation !)
  22. I think Robb just thinks they`re gonna dress him up. The truth is : They want him for the maze because there`s no need to dress him up...I mean, not at all ! I still remember the day when I met Robb for the first time and I asked him to get out of that terrible costume...and he just asked : "What costume are you talking about ???"... GeorgeT
  23. Any idea, why noone is already building another mack lauched looper ??? I totally don`t get it. The lauch is nearly 100 % reliable...the track and train design is great...and the trains, especially the restraints are not more or less than the "ergonomic" benchmark, currently. And thats not just my personal opinion...I think thats nearly EVERYONES opinion including the real experts like Robb and Elissa. Yeah, Blue Fire is kind of "forceless" (I only ride it in the afternoon and ONLY (!) frontrow and LOVE the experience, and if YOU don`t do it, you`re dumb ) BUT the coastertype shows soooo much (more) potential. I wrote that already last year, and I repeat it now : It would be kind of easy to build the best steel coaster worldwide based on that mack-concept, thats what I believe...! George "Werner should read this and get into Action" T.
