Did you give the "Schloss Balthasar" a try already ? Cause Rainer and me did last weekend (for the first time...)...and I have to say that it`s another excellent restaurant inside the park with a great "knight`s castle" vibe ! Dishes are between 15,- and 25,- Euros...so it`s more on the expensive side...but the quality is VERY good...and so is the atmosphere. We liked it alot...but I guess it`s still sort of an insiders tipp

Kennywood looks BEAUTIFUL

This picture was taken at the top of the ferris wheel. So it`s relativly easy to imagine, that the bottom is where Atlantica Supersplash has it`s turnaround...hope you guys know the place a littlebit so that my explanationand the choosen photo really helps ( Source : EP Board)

The are protecting the name...that`s all. First it was "Blue Fire - Mega Coaster" And now "Wodan - Timbur Coaster". And "Mythos"...that was just the project-name. Greeds...GeorgeT

So...the name of the new woodie is not a secret anymore : WODAN - TIMBURCOASTER Source : http://www.tmdb.de/de/marke/WODAN_TIMBUR_COASTER,DE302011050393.html On that page you can see that the name is another "trademark" of Europa Park ! "Wodan" is a great name I think...and "Timburcoaster" is the scandinavian name for wooden coaster... There`s the Logo !

It`s all about THEMING LOOOOVE Several new pics showed up at Chris-space.net...and I guess there will be loads of enthusiasm to be found in various forums in the next few weeks...cause it seems as if Europa is again absolutely serious about theming a coaster. All I can say is that this thing is starting to look better and better...very promising IMHO As you can see the turnaround will look quite decent... So this is where the little hump over Atlantica Supersplash will be placed... Over the drop... ...and right into that trench... ...which is gonna be tight (could get loud in there, right ?) And there you can see the tilted track piece in the flythrough section... There`s the first drop dissapearing into the first tunnel... ...leaving the tunnel throuh a section that seems to get a lot of theming love This is to give you an idea where the woodie is gonna cross Blue Fire`s track ! Looks as if the woodie`s entrance gate is gonna get a lot of theming love, too Gonna close this with the nice view over Europa`s Splash battle !

Woodie update !!! GCI workers are very busy completing the lifthill and building the turnaround under Atlantica Supersplash...and the first pictures of theming elements showed up...and looking GREAT (Sources are eprust.com , ep-board.com , coasterfans.com AND myself ) Looks as if the lifthill will be completed soon A littlebit misty...and filmed through the window of the (transportable) giant ferris wheel that was installed just for the winter season ! Whooomp...there it is )) 60 meters...and soooo beautiful at night ! The turnaround under Atlantica... Europa also started to work on the first theming elements... Medusa-style I would say Gonna finish this with a night shot from the ferris wheel

Nooooo...Sorry but I don`t like Minimeus Theme, too !!! I just think that people should judge AFTER (!) riding it (and knowing how Europa is gonna realize that minimeus-stuff....and stop complaining till then. That`s all

There are sooooo many people here in Germany "complaining" about the Minimeus-theme. And as far as I know it REALLY looks as if that story was choosen for the coaster. But on the other hand...there are so many diffrent factors that make a ride great (or bad)...that I think we all should wait and see... I really do think that this will be another great attraction...even if it would be themed to baby poop Europa Park is still developing is such a great way that I really feel that it would be almost unfair to judge the ride in advance just by knowing the way the puppets will look like !

Go Mack...goooooo !!! I`m pretty excited that the US ist getting a ride with those stunning trains. And the layout looks promising, too. Too bad I won`t be able to ride this anytime soon

Well...the annouced darkride turns out to be a family indoor coaster...that`s right. But it`s NOT confirmed yet that it will be themed to the "minimeus" movie...it was "just" confirmed that it will be themed by luc besson So PROBABLY it will have the minimeus-theming...maybe something different. I don`t know what you guys think...but MANY germans reacted in a negative way to the minimeus theme

Best thing about the Euro-Mir Animation is definitively the song ! That music is catchy as hell...guess I heard it a hundred times...and I STILL love it

Sorry guys...that was definitively my fault I would LOVE (!) to see a flyer at Europa...but this is gonna be a powered I-N-V-E-R-T-E-D coaster. And yes...AFAIK the cars are going to spin so that the seats will face the darkride part scenes (controlled spinning). Sorry for the confusion I still think that this is a GREAT announcement. Hope you agree...and next time I´ll definitively try to translate things more carefully

EDIT : The Building that will house the Indoor-Coaster will have a footprint of about 3000 Squaremeters. It will also house a new restaurant...and there are also plans for building a children`s droptower in that (fairytale) area !

NOW IT`S OFFICIAL !!! I just posted it a few days before in the rumour-thread...but now it`s official : Europa Park is getting it`s 12. Rollercoaster in 2013 !! The Coaster will be a family and children-friendly powered indoor-flying coaster...using the Blue-Fire (launchcoaster) seats. It will have a lengh of around 650 meters (!). The ride will feature some classic darkride AND rollercoaster parts. It will be located in the area of the enchanted forest and will be themed by luc besson, who`s responsible for "arthur and the minimoys". Wooot...woooot ! Theeeeeming has started on the 2012- coming GCI-Woodie (Source : Chris-Space.net) I was expecting the tunnels to be very open...and luckily I was wrong !!! They started covering the first tunnel on both sides...yay ! See ? This is the beginning of building the archway that leads to the new "mystical island" area...it`s locatend on top of the second tunnel after the first turnaround ! Going into the second tunnel... And there`s tunnel number three. Quite tight, right ??? ...same here...wroooom It`s already christmas at Europa It`s trench-the ride Awwww..."mythos" at night !
