you can eat McDonald's, not be fat, and still have serious health issues as a result of it. High cholesterol anyone? As a result I've been seriously trying to cut down on my fast food intake and trying to eat more sandwhiches, ect. Though I still have a serious addiction to soda which needs to be stopped. Of course free soda while I'm working doesn't help. Though I always could just ask for water...

I had a servo brake on my spyder imagine about 2 years ago, I sent it to my brother's friend since he worked in a shop. I never got back my gun. So anyways, I bought what is basically the semi-automatic version of the imagine which is the Spyder Victor. Though I need to upgrade to an electric hopper because I still can out shoot the hopper and as a result I constantly chop balls. But its been awhile since I've played paintball at an actual place like SC village or Jungle Island out in Corona, CA, mainly we just play out in the woods when I go up to my uncle's house in Gardnerville Nevada, which we usually go to 2 - 3 times a year.

Anything with Robin Williams gets a thumbs up from me. As for Pixar being a fad. No, its not. A lot of thier films WILL remain classics. But I think that great Pixar films will come to a hault some time in the future, sort of like how DIsney had a large string of successful films, and then it all started going down hill after that. Possibly because they over-budgeted thier films and as a result, not even earning $100million in the box office would get thier money back. (Treasure Planet cost $140 million to produce, it made slightly more then $100million world wide) Anyways, As I was saying, I don't see PIxar, or HP for that matter, to be a fad. For one, Pixar is a studio, they produce movies. I think people go to see pixar movies because they have a track record of producing quality movies, and as a result people will go see thier movies, or at least until they start producing mediocre material. And it's not a fad because people don't think, "Gee wiz, I'm going to go see Pixar because it's cool! Yay! PIXAR WOOT!" As I said, it just happens to be a label that is currently putting out a consistent ammount of quality in thier work. As for HP, I don't think that's a fad either. The popularity probably will die down a couple years after the last movie, but I think it will always be remembered with the likes of The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings or the Narnia books. If you would like to consider Disney's usage of PIxar as a fad, well then I would agree with that statement. I think that DIsney will learn, and this attraction is a very good example of this, that even though an attraction is based off of a highly successful and popular movie, it does not neccessarily mean that the attraction is gold. I think, generally speaking, that its the quality of the content and how its presented is what makes people like a ride, not at all the liscensing. Because I almost guarantee you that if you chose something that doesn't sound all that interesting, and you turn it into something interesting and exciting, even if people have never heard of it before, they will come to see it. And if its all that its cracked up to be, they will come back to see it. A prime example of this is Splash Mountain. Grant it, it's based off of a movie. But I can guarantee you that most people who go on it don't even know that, and the one's who do, well most have never seen the movie themselves. But the lines are still over an hour long on a busy day, and its been almost 15 years since it originally opened. (I think it opened in 92? And what does that tell you? Its the quality that attracts the guest, not the liscensing. /rant

That's no woman, it's a man.. baby.... Anyways, I feel sorry for the person who fell trying to keep the other woman in, but not so much for the one standing up. Common-freaking-sence people! If most people can ride the tram just fine without getting hurt (over 14 million people a year, usually there and back) and all of a sudden 2 women find themselves tumbling out of it, why should they recieve special treatment for thier stupidity? Maybe I just outta stand up and fall out. I think I deserve some money too. Hell, why don't we all stand up and fall out of the tram next time we're on it. If anything, the woman who stood up should recieve some sort of punishment from the park. Not so sure about the other woman, though. I mean she WAS just trying to help. Maybe she should get something, at least. But that other woman should get nothing.

yea. We would of had one so long ago had the Port Disney project not fallen through, but at least we're finally getting a cruise line. -
^^ I'm not sure because I don't have any real demographics, but I'm certain most people who occupy the hotel aren't there to visit knotts. But its not about the room, its about perfecting what you have, which, imo, Knotts does not do. They just slap together whatever ride they get thier hands on. The end result is a lack luster visit. I know I'd be pretty pissed if I paid entry into knotts to recieve the service that I've gotten on my last few visits, as well as if I was an out of stater going to knotts after my visit from disneyland, I would probably be underwhelmed by the whole experience and spend another day at DLR. And yes, while it is technically a resort, it's a poor example of one, imo. As for room for expansion. THey have some, but they would first have to build an expensive parking structure, then cleverly shift things around. But before they decide, or even come to thinking that they need to do such a thing, I would rather see them do things to better what they currently have.

Knotts has the potential to be something nice and uniqe. It would be quite an investment, grant it. But if they could turn it into something more then just a park for locals, they have this whole other market that could spill into thier lap. Maybe making the switch towards more of a "destination" or more correctly put "side trip" from Disneyland would be a better way to play the market? Of course Cedar Fair doesn't exactly have the correct management skills nor the vision to turn Knotts into such a resort. To be honest, I think its the current management's "lack of vision" that is choking the park's progress and mark within the industry.

Theme Park Review's 2007 Group Trips!
Gnome replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
What is the absolute latest money can be sent in for that trip? I'm almost positive that if I don't have the money in May, if I'm allowed to pay towards the end of June, I'd be able to make the full payment. -

Theme Park hauntings and ghosts
Gnome replied to AllisonY2K's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
There's something strange inside your brain. Who you gonna call? Stephen Hawking! Yea, so I don't think RotM is haunted simply because if there was a death, I'm sure some one would have found out. Not to mention if you die why would you wanna stick around here on earth? It'd be so much warmer in hell. -
