  1. You aren't going to get your hands on it. A lot of different companies have been using No Limits for quite some time now. Most notable would be Gerstlauer and Vekoma, but Intamin as well as B&M have used no limit's from time to time. Though it's funny, I wonder why they don't have the latest version of nolimit's with the sexy new B&M trains as well as the footers?
  2. Not to burst anyone's bubble, but I heard from a guy who knows a guy that knew a guy who's brother's friend's sister is an imagineer, and they said that the change will now have character's from Pixar's up coming film, "WALL E" and it will have a strong moral focus on preserving our earth, ect. ect.
  3. from what I've noticed about the gay days at Disneyland is that while they are wearing red, the men at least don't do much more then hold hands or hug thier significant other. Though I notice that women tend to display a little more publicly, but really it's just like any other day at the park, the only difference is that all the people who are gay stand out more because a lot of them will be wearing red. It's not about flaunting it and making other people feel uncomfortable, it's about letting people know that they're regular people, like everyone else, they just also happen to be attracted to people of the same sex.
  4. I wonder if they'll have any bad ass dark rides of notable mention?
  5. ^ What are you saying, if you're a coaster enthusiest then you're gay? Is that what you're getting at? hmm? punk! All joking aside though, I think TPR has a great community, probably one of the best on the internet, which is surprising for it's size. You go onto IMDB boards, which grant it has millions of people participating, but none the less, there's a very large percentage of them who go around trolling the boards and they pretty much make statements that make no sense. They just seem to easily offended just because some one has a different opinion then them, where as this board seems more accepting other new or different ideas so long as such ideas are justified. But then you get into the coke vs. pepsi debate and things start to get a little touchy, but other then that, TPR is great, I think Robb and Elissa's, as well as the assistants constant monitoring of the site help keep people in line and bring out the best.
  6. Because everyone has to conform to the idealogies of the bible Everyone has a right to believe in what they want to. Just because a religion says its wrong does not mean people get to go around forcing that belief system on everyone else. I don't see what the harm is in men loving men or women loving women, if that is what makes them happy, and it's not like it affects you in anyway. They're just enjoying life, as you are. As for Disney, I doubt that they're doing it to try and be hip and cool. It probably is just a money thing, and before they probably thought they couldn't get much out of it so why bother? Although now they seemed to see that there is a market for that sort of stuff.
  7. It was funny to me how he said that there was a heightened sense of security, and with that you saw the people on the back of the ride.
  8. I doubt it. I'd say the project could not cost any more then 50 million. And with that said I'm pretty sure that is still more then the actual cost of the conversion. Maybe it's a combination of the show and the new ride, as well as some touching up around the parks?
  9. That map has been around forever. I remember playing it back in the days of CS1. It looks like it's just been ported over to the source engine with some new texture upgrades and various effects. Though the mesh model of the building looks the same. And no, I do not believe that person does had a life at the time that map was made. He's created many many other maps for example he made a map of Florida's Jurrassic Park, as well as the clue house from the movie clue, and many other maps. Very fun maps though. If it wasn't for people like him, we wouldn't have these cool little things.
  10. Take a look at US parks compared to Middle Eastern parks. US parks have a HUGE saftey standards. From what jmc247 stated earlier, it seems like you should really sign a death certificate before you ride anything over there. With the US on hand in building a park over there, they are insured US type saftey. Iraq can just as easily put in those safety requirements as easily as any US corporation could put it in. IMO this is the reason why Iraq is failing because there is to much reliance on the US instead of them relying on themselves.
  11. I think SHapiro has stated that SFFT was his favorite, so then I'd assume that would be the place that fits his image best, though obviously he see's this as a place that also fits the vision
  12. I actually really like USH, much better then SFMM or Knott's imo.
  13. yea, chances are you wouldn't even get on Nemo anyways since the capacity is so low, but things hopefully won't be so busy towards the end of the season.
  14. oh... I sort of skipped that and started looking at all the pictures.
  15. i take it you won that contest that Nickolodean has every year? That's pretty sweet.
  16. ^ double post! n00b! lol Anyways, on a more serious note, yea, I don't see what the big fuss is. It looked crappy imo. Why preserve the crappy? Bring it down and make way for progress. Lets just worry about preserving the good classic roller coasters, and letting the bad ones rot and fade into time like everything else.
  17. I guess you could say its now "Black to the Future?" Eh? Eh? Well it was funny on family guy...
  18. I regret missing the cat in the hat dark ride at IOA I'd also like to hit up the rides at BGW, and one day get to SFGadv for my El Tor credit, SFNE for S:ROS, then the CP and HW coasters. And all the uber awsome disney/universal rides to be built in the future.
  19. ^ all I could find out was that Paris Hilton could go to jail. With that said Hopefully hollywood life/production won't be disturbed to much. And hopefully the homes and themepark won't be affected to negatively.
  20. Yea, knott's just gets worse every year. I don't think I will be renewing my pass this year once it expires in July. I think for now on I will stick to my Disney pass, especially seeing as how with John Lassetter leading the imagineers with the development of DLR, the future only looks bright for the Anahiem property, assuming that they fix thier large turn over rates, that is. Otherwise I can see Disney falling into the same category of parks as knotts which could ultimately destroy the park's appeal. But yea, knotts is so mediocre now, if even that.
  21. Well he who's a geezer must live in my freezer, and she who is snarky is full of malarkey, and he who is groovy must be in my movie. With that said, another decent strip. Though I will say that your usage of "innuendo" was kind of lame, but w/e, it was amusing.
  22. Um not really, but it is your opinion. Maybe a Herchend park, but Disney is still so far out of SFDK's league.
  23. Don't you mean the CW?
  24. I have heard of his show and I've listened to a couple of them at the request of my cousin. Apparantly he's pretty well known through out the Disney Podcast community which has a very strong following from what I gather. Also, this isn't new news that they read forums. Jim hill media as well as Al Lutz have noted in previous articles that Disney does in fact pay attention to the online community, but I believe this is the first time that they have officially stated that they do listen.
