Mine's kinda boring, but I don't have any cool wallpapers to put on display. Desktop.bmp Am I the only person that still uses XP?

I posted this one last week on their website. This one actually happened to me lol Today, I asked some kid walking into a Starbucks for some change, but he says he doesn't have any. I'm an old homeless guy who hasn't had anything to eat for a long time. When he walks out, he's carrying a straberry Frappuccino in his hand. I'm really hungry and really pissed FML. I know exactly how this kid feels...

Awesome! Your strips are hilarious... #1 reminds me of my 3 y/o nephew. So demanding, it drives me nuts. #2 overall funny #3 is possibly my favorite of the three. I totally remember seeing those on TV around 9-10 years ago and now I've got the jingle stuck in my head.

RCT2 Huron Park

Good: - Excellent job on the launcher. - Major improvements from last time. - Scenery work is awesome. Bad: - Footpaths do seem a bit bare. Suggestions: - Maybe add some scenery in the middle of some of the footpaths. - You could definately add some scenery in the middle of the area with the jumping fountains. And maybe add a real fountain in the middle. It seems a bit bare there. Overall: - You're really improving. Keep up the excellent work and you'll go very far with this park. -
Kings Dominion (KD) Discussion Thread
netdvn replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This is really starting to confuse me. Is CW getting a coaster too? CF is doing an excellent job of messing with everyone's heads. So this means that... CW Carowinds CP and KD all could be getting coasters next year? Man, first Sf improves on customer service, actually cares about its rides, and adds tons of trash cans to their parks while CF is digging themselves deeper into debt with huge coasters, removing charm for bigger rides, and increasingly worsening operations. -
Six Flags [FUN] Corporate Discussion Thread
netdvn replied to davidmorton's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^^ Yes, but CF is in debt, AB won't operate theme parks anymore, and Disney wouldn't buy a SF park in a million years. -
^^ Avatar was probably the second best Nicktoon I've ever IMO. I'm not gonna lie. Its also very popular on sites like ToonZone and it does have a large following. It had great storyline, great characters, and the action scenes were epic, especially the final one... I'd be more embarrassed to say that I watch Disney sitcoms when nobody is looking, and actually enjoy them...

Goodbye GeoCities... One of the first social networking websites ever. RIP 1994-2009 http://geocities.yahoo.com/ My dad had a GC account he made for me and my brother back in the day. I wonder if it still exists? Oh well... At least there will be less crap on Google now that the outdated GeoCities accounts will be axed.

Sunset Hills [RCT2]
netdvn replied to Stoksy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
The Good: - Zolar's scenery is amazing. - Building design is great - Love the colors The Bad: - Zolar's supports could use more work. I did see an improvement in Goliath's supports, but that's just me. Overall: - Keep up the great work. -
Cowabunga Bay waterpark
netdvn replied to montezooma's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Is it just me or is it miserable all over the country? But seriously, I'm glad you were able to sell a lot of season passes on opening and let's hope the weather clears up soon over there (and over here). PS: Are you distributing brochures/maps for Cowabunga Bay? I would really like to know. -
Its 2 AM over here and I should be working on an English assignment about an overly dramatic novel written over 200 years ago, but here I am goofing off by posting on TPR. I really wanna sleep, but I've got to get this done by tomorrow, EDIT: I mean in a few hours. Ugh...

Reptar King of the Ozone - The Devil Wears Prada

You need some tips? 1. Don't close your eyes. It only makes things scarier anyway. 2. Try hitting everything when the lines are short. Less wait=less anticipation. 3. Start with small tame coasters and work your way up. OR start with the biggest, scariest coaster and work your way down. You're better off with the second choice because once you've conquered the larger coasters, you can do everything else with ease. 4. Watch tons of Hershey POVs to get yourself familiarized with the layouts. That way, you know what to expect before you ride. 5. Remember, you take a bigger risk of dying just getting out of bed than getting hurt at an amusement park/theme park. Don't forget to have fun!

Cedar Fair's Emerald Lake

It looks waaaaay to amazing to be a typical CF park... Just take out some of the scenery and add trash cans and concrete. Impressive job on the building and coaster design. -
The Legacy of Summers/Dinn
netdvn replied to Movieguy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yes because Intamin PnP's are much easier to maintain than traditional woodies. That's why they're called Plug n' Plays. Just take out the problem piece, call Intamin and have them ship the new pieces to the park. Reinstall, test, and then open. -
Construction has begun at SFNE

Or maybe its for the Dark Knight coaster that was supposed to be built there, but got sent to Mexico. Insert joke about crossing the border here. ReEDIT -
TPR and Theme Park Artwork
netdvn replied to sfmmFREAK's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
^ Actually yes I do realize that, which is why I've been considering making a seperate thread to place all my artwork later on... As for RCT, I can't seem to get it up and running. I've tried a bunch of times, but it doesn't seem to work. Thanks for the comments everybody. My scanner isn't doing what it's supposed to do right now but hopefully it will work before tomorrow arrives. If not, I can push the next update back to Monday. -
RCT2 Huron Park
netdvn replied to Lucius's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Major improvement from last time... The Good: - King Kobra is amazing. Were you inspired by the one at King's Island? - Excellent job redoing the water ride. It looks MUCH better now. The Bad: - The building seem a bit... plain. - I'm not a fan of the tarmac footpaths. - A bit more scenery is needed. Suggestions: - Try to create different buildings and use different walls in your entrance plaza. - Instead of having those red walls along the footpath, try using flower beds. It looks nicer and adds color to your park. - Use more cobblestone footpaths and maybe place flowers around them to improve the look of your park. Overall: - You're getting there. Use more flowers and more colors and your park will look better. Great job! -

Dan's Theme Park Artwork Update 7 Part 3 Here's another small update. I'm still working on the rest and will probably post a larger one this weekend if I can get my scanner up and running. Another Outlaw testing shot... Jack Rabbit is a wooden coaster built in the 70s... Here's the entrance.
