  1. Well it's been many days, and I don't have much I want to show you, seeing a lost interest in this park. I will still keep updating, no matter how little interest people may show. I just can't wait to see how this park will look when it's finished!! Dark ride. I'm not sure the purple sits well. Looks a little feminine. Overview. In case there were some who were wondering, I am going to change the building's colors from blue/yellow, I've just been very lazy.
  2. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46701&highlight=roller+coaster+models http://www.wikihow.com/Design-a-Roller-Coaster-Model Hopefully that will help a little bit.
  3. I like your park a lot, especially the garden scenery. The only thing I don't find very appealing is the green and red building. I would suggest changing one of the colors on it. Other than that I think this park is looking very beautiful. Wonderful job on the waterfalls.
  4. Updates!! Finally, right? The waterfall itself looks plain. Any suggestions? And no, I did not add the japanese theming to my scenario so I can't add a lilypad. Meet Caliber: Superman added and a gokart track, as well as a railway. That's it for now. Hopefully this will lead me to more ideas and I can get this park going!
  5. Stoksy- Thanks for your input. I've put this into consideration and have made a turn after the first drop, but it's not very large. I've tried helixes and such but it refuses to cooperate so just a turn will do. Everything still runs just as smoothly, with the same ratings. Coaster Cow- Thanks as well. I've finished decorating the logflume, and I am pleased with how it turned out. The park is being worked on at a very slow pace. My architecture isn't doing very well and the scenery seems to not flow. I've added a few new rides but that won't be released until the next update. If anyone has any suggestions as to flat ride station scenery, feel free to comment. I'll hear them out. My paths are being altered a little, and more shops are being added. My buildings aren't great and I'm trying to search for real buildings for inspirations. I think that may be the biggest thing that is holding me back. Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions at all about anything I'll be glad to hear them! Thanks!
  6. netdvn- thanks for the tips and support! Wild 1- much thanks! Another update. I'm not sure I like what I did in the middle of the jumping fountains. It just doesn't seem right. The new Fizz. If anyone has any suggestions to make it even better, I'll listen. New ride. It's a log fume, and it's next to the other water ride. Overview of the park Comments & Critiques greatly appreciated!
  7. Thank you so much for helping!! The excitement is in the 7's and the Intensity is in the 10's, which is still high, but I'm really really happy with it! Thank you SO MUCH!! I'll post screenshots of it with my next update!
  8. Thanks for replying Wild. You've helped a lot with the ride's ratings...I just don't know how to fix a certain problem spot without dramatic changes. There's the cutback, the loop, twist, and then the hill. So the train is taking the cutback at 35-40 mph. Way too fast. It takes the loop 40-45 mph hour. Afterwards, it takes the twist at 35-40 mph. Again, way too fast. It then BARELY makes the hill. I could delete the twist. But then I still have the problem of the cutback, loop, and the hill. I've tried changing the brakes before the cutback to 30. It makes the cutback fine but the uphill afterwards isn't doable. I'd hate to delete the cutback but looks like i'll have to. I'd also have to delete the loop too...easy fixes but It looks very plain without anything for the rest of the track. Should I just retrack from the problem spot on? :/ I guess it's my call but input helps a lot. Thanks!!
  9. Thank you both for your input. The last few days I've been finding it harder and harder for me to create something new, so I decided to work on your suggestions first, and go from there. The buildings, I have changed it to blue and yellow to see how it would look. It looks horrid so I will change them back to black and white. The coaster 'Fizz' had a little bit of a makeover. The colors have changed, and there is now a straight run for the coaster to gain speed. I've added three first aid rooms near the coaster, because of it's extreme rating on Nausea. The intensity is ultra-extreme, while the excitement is low. I'm not too pleased with this, but I will look around to see what can make the coaster more exciting and less intense. Another thing I need to change in my park is the border of the flowers around Fizz. The railings look horrible, so I will change them to brick I think. Next part of the park I'm working on is a garden-like area, with maybe a maze. I'm very unsure of this...as I am with a small water park area. I've created a pool, and it just didn't seem to fit so I took it out. I may just make it into a large lake and have another water ride built in the area. Anyway, I haven't given up on this park at all, I've just slowed down dramatically. Sorry for the inconvenience. Lucius.
  10. How big/small does the park have to be? I may enter, I may not. Depends how I'm doing with my own park atm. I have a lot to improve on still. This sounds like fun though!
  11. netdvn-Thanks for your comments and suggestions. I was indeed inspired by the one at KI. I think my scenery has improved, but it could probably use more. Stoksy-I've kept your suggestions in mind and hopefully my park looks better, but if you disagree comment please! Thanks for your compliments, and I plan to finish this park. TLM- Thanks for your comment, looking forward to see what I can improve on. Small update: Buildings are redone. Ferris wheel and pathway scenery redone. Hopefully for the better. If not, suggest what I can do to improve it. New coaster! Not inspired by anything, just made at a whim. I love it. Splashdown added to Aqua Shaft. I'm iffy about the ride's name, suggestions appreciated. welcome Thanks for viewing! Comments & critiques are, as always, welcome.
  12. the ghost- Thanks so much for giving me the site. I think I'll be visiting that a lot! netdvn- As always, thanks for the help! Lots of things I need to learn, but I'm enjoying it tons. Btw, amazing drawings. mcjaco- I visit wiki and their websites (as well as some others) so do not worry. Thanks for the kind words, I'll definitely be keeping that in mind. Alright, updates! The Joker was torn down and King Kobra was constructed in its place. I wanted to see if I liked making coasters after real ones, and I was suprised that I did! There will of course, be my own made coasters (which won't be based off of anything) throughout the park as well. Ferris Wheel with station. I had this the whole time since I've made the park, but I was unhappy with the first station. I spruced it up a little, but I'm still not satisfied. Opinions are appreciated. Waterslide redone. I am working on the splashdown right now. The reason it's not just one steep drop is because after that drop there's still a lot of track between the end of the drop and the station. If I was a rider, I'd be very impatient during that time. A strip of shops. The other side of the pathway there are shops, too. Before the shops there are jomping fountains. That's it for now. Comments and critiques appreciated!
  13. KPWoCkAxX- Thanks so much! netdvn- No you weren't harsh at all. You were more than helpful actually! Now to clear up a couple of questions: I will not be using any type of custom scenery and I'm trying to go for realism...only problem is that I'm totally ignorant when it comes to rollercoasters. I just ride them. I figure I can learn the rollercoaster itself these next few park-makings. Now, with your comment of the B&M...are all my coasters supposed to be B&M? And with the 'splashdown'...do you mean one huge drop? Sorry for these seemingly simple questions and comments you have given me, I was just never that interested in rollercoasters beyond riding them until recently. Thanks so much!
  14. Well here it is: Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.
