Shane's Amusement Attic
netdvn replied to montezooma's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Excellent post Shane! I really like seeing Colossus without those ugly, bulky Morgan trains. PS: IIRC, the bulky Morgan trains still have that MM logo on them. -
^ I LOVE that episode! Now for the worst, I was sitting in the car with my parents, listening to talk radio because my parents are very conservative. They were talking about Obama when all of a sudden, my mom started calling blacks lazy because they live off welfare and criminals that deserve to be put in prison. I think this might've come up because she watches too much Fox News on top of too many crime shows like Forensic Files. I was very shocked to learn that my mom was racist.

Dumbest things you’ve ever said on a forum
netdvn replied to Jds03's topic in Random, Random, Random
^ If I said anything dumb on ANY message board, and somehow somebdoy copied/pasted it on another message board for the world to see, a lot of people would definately make fun of me! I'd probably feel dumb about it, but in general I'd probably just ignore it (if I knew about it somehow). In fact there's a whole thread about making fun of dumb posts on this message board. Not to mention making fun of the GP for getting facts wrong about roller coasters isn't being all that polite either. -

^ Thanks for the info! The new Sesame Street area looks incredible! -
What B&M dimensional coaster? Are B&M coasters able to transcend dimensions now? Also, SheiKra, Griffon, Dive Coaster, and that new Happy Valley DM have splashdowns and are floorless coasters.

^ I never noticed that you typed like that until it was mentioned in this thread. As for the grammar issue, I am kinda bugged by people that cannot capitalize their I's and place periods at the end of their sentences. Like I said earlier, you would not turn in an essay to a teacher or a resume to a business with simple grammatical mistakes like not capitalizing I and having run-on sentences all over the place. So why treat the Internet any differently? Not only does it make you sound mature, but people also take you more seriously as well if you don't type like a 14-year-old. But I would still love to see the rest of your pics. -
^I agree that summers are getting shorter and shorter. I remember when I was living in Arizona, school started late-August and ended mid-May. I'm in community college, so my school schedule is similar to my Arizona school schedule, but when I still went to public school, I had to go to school from mid-June to the first Tuesday in September. ...And 10-12 hour school days? WTF are they thinking? I can barely stand sitting through a four hour class, let alone twelve hours.

I love this thread! The T-Bolt pictures are my favorite. How did you manage to get your hands on one of those? -

^^ I've been around enough message boards (as a member and as a lurker, including this one) to know that capitalization and usiing periods is very important. Not only does it make your posts easier to read, but it makes you seem more mature. I doubt you'd turn in an English paper or a resume to a business that doesn't use caps at the beginning of sentences and for the word "I", so why treat an Internet message board any different? I still love the pictures though. -

While we're still on the topic of video games I got really far playing Quick Man's stage in Mega Man 2 and I ran into one of those annoying laser/wall thingies. I'm stuck in the first dungeon in A Link to the Past. And for some reason, when I play SMB1, I always run into the first Goomba on my first playthrough for some unknown reason.

^Euroburg is open? I don't even think they've started testing the rides yet, or my parents would've been talking about it (they drie by the park every day). We did get some ads for BGE season passes already, which means the season is about to start.

The half-pipe stand up looks great, but I kinda expected some inversions or something like that. Everything else looks impressive though. I wanna see more of the Intamin.
