The rest of your post made sense to me, but this is the part I don't understand. Yes, they've removed two 48" coasters in a year. But in the past five years they've added Planet Snoopy (Family/Child), Starlight Experience (Family), Shoot the Rapids (46" minimum with responsible adult), and Dinosaurs Alive! (Family with upcharge). The only ride they've added in the past five years that isn't equal or less than the height requirement of rides they've removed is Windseeker. These don't seem like the moves of a company who is trying to alienate their family based customers. Yes its sad to see the lower height restriction attractions disappear, but be happy knowing that they have and will continue to invest in the family market. I'm sure we'll see a more family friendly coaster in the near future. It doesn't make sense not to add one, especially with losing Wildcat unexpectedly. Cedar Fair is a reasonably smart company, and Ouimett seems to have a good head on his shoulders. I'm personally going to be happy with a shiny new wing rider, even if its not exactly what I was hoping for. If nothing else I still have Magnum and Maverick to fall back on -

^ I find it odd that you think the ride ops are bad at Cedar Point. My family just returned from vacation there and spent three days at the park. They loved the ride ops, and I have quite a few friends that still work there who have a great attitude when on the job. I'm curious as to what park you're comparing operations to, you're the first in this thread that I've been able to find who has complained about the ride operators attitudes. -

That's sexy. -
This is my point exactly. I wouldn't expect the average guest to read the signs, and I doubt the park does either. But when you visit the park, and know you have a disability or medical condition I would think you would read up on their policies for this exact reason. At the risk of sounding offensive to any disabled folks on the board (and no offense meant), if you go to a theme park with a disability you are not an "average" guest. The parks do a lot to accomodate those with disabilities, including providing signage, literature, and customer service desks. I have a hard time believing that he has never taken a second in his whole history visiting the park and not reading up, or at the very least asking someone what he could ride.

[RCT 3] Escape the Predator

I feel like its similar to Battlestar Galatica in US:S in that it uses the lift hill space to launch the coaster instead of cranking it to the top. -

Yep, but the station design creates basically no line for the magic row, so I LOVE that station! This! -
Reading is hard apparently. Not to bash the guy, but those signs are at the entrance, throughout the queue, and in the station for a reason. If you can't take two seconds to look at them when you have a disability to verify if you can ride or not then its your own fault for being in line and becoming angry. Six Flags did the right thing.

Coming from someone who worked the ride, the 'Magic Seat' as most people referred to it is the 'ejector' seat for most others: Car 1, Row 3. Your mileage may vary, its either that or the very back (imho). -

Thank you, Mr. Ouimet. Pave over the features! How about adding more garbage cans? He has a point though, the area toward the new building seems a little cramped. Perhaps moving everything back another tile for a bit more space? And you can't say that Ouimet is paving over everything, he just started this year. Let him settle in before bashing him, jez. -

Just a random thought...what if Cedar Point built a coaster in similar style of the Skyrush trains, or even perhaps an Intamin version of a wing-rider? Just to throw everyone through a loop there. Intamin is more than capable of making a ride like that, and given Cedar Point's slant towards Intamin over the past decade... -

The park is going to look beautiful this year. I'm so glad I'm going to be able to make it out there after three years! I miss it -
So much truth in this statement. I found Daft Punk when I was in middle school (around the time I first discovered the internet!) and I've been hooked ever since. They're truly artists, and what they do is absolutely jaw dropping live. If you haven't seen their live set, check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3Uc3BMdP9Y - This is part one, check the side bar for the rest of the show. You can find the entire concert on the album "Alive 2007". It is absolutely phenomenal, and one of my favorite albums of all time. As for Skrillex, I'm selective on which of his tracks I like. I don't like all of his music, but some of it isn't bad. Particularly the remixes he does with other artists such as Ellie Goulding. Really, really well done.

Beautiful pictures, and in response to your lens cutting down on glare...I secretly liked the lens flare in your first picture. It was artsy -
I'd love to know how you know. Myself, my friends, and my family live in Alexandria (~5 miles from DC) which is one of the main draw points from this park. Gotta be honest with you, we have zero interest in going to visit an amusement park in the dead of winter - its not like we don't like to go out of our way to visit parks, we go to Six Flags, Hershey, Kings Dominion, Cedar Point, etc. during the spring and summer. I don't see BGW getting a year round schedule, a lot of folks have no reason to travel there during those months. I'm with QR on this one, the park isn't a big enough draw on its own to support that.
