  1. Ill do that. Give me a couple hours and Ill post one!
  2. Great update! The coaster looks so full of turns its going to be fantastic. The picture of the drop right after the 3rd MCBR is coming towards the viewer. I know the MCBR after the noninverting loop, the building crash through turn and the preceeding MCBR are built, but has anything been built from the station to the first MCBR? What about from the 2nd mid course to the 3rd?
  3. ^Thanks for the pictures, I hadn't seen any pictures of the inversion yet so it was good to see! Also, the enclosure around the lift will be sweet, I think a Germany theme park tour is in order after this and Blue Fire open.
  4. ^My bad! From that picture they looked kind of beigey, but they are silver. But either way, it is going to be a fun ride and a very good looking one too.
  5. Im telling you! Nuggets are looking good!
  6. Not bad for your first coaster! Here are a couple things I though you did well... -I really enjoyed the colors of the coaster and the rustic feel -The drops and floater hills -The layout Here are some things I think you could improve on... -Make sure that you smooth things out and make sure they are straight. -Supports could have used a little work -Tunnel test the track Overall this was a great attempt, just give it some time and you'll be great. No Limits is a tough program to get used to.
  7. The red does look really nice, but that color combination seems to be used more now. Between Maverick and Diamondback and now this. I mean it looks really nice for sure and the fact Italy is no where near either of those coasters, but it still seems to be catching on. Cant wait to see the ride go vertical though!
  8. The ride looks great and the weaving in and out of the buildings will make it all the better. Its a tiny lift hill and first drop though but according to RCDB it will be enclosed in a building, is this still true? Also, it is supposed to have an inversion, do we know what it is and where it will go, I can't seem to find it.
  9. With a downturn in the economy, opportunities are created. I know it sucks that HRP closed, but it did create opportunities for another company. The same applies to Expoland, it will allow other companies to buy assets at affordable values, though Im sure some additional money will be needed to refurb the rides. But imagine the suit the resulted because of the derailment. I mean, some girl sued for millions of dollars because her McDonalds coffee was too hot. I can't imagine the suit because of the death of a person due to the neglect of the ride.
  10. ^Lowering prices doesn't mean that revenue would increase. In this case, prices and quantities supplied and demand are linear, so they reach a point of equilibrium where revenue is maximized naturally. Lowering prices doesn't mean that revenue increases just because there is more demand. I am not sure how season passes effect revenue, but I would agree that waiting for a little is a wise decision. The new management needs to get their roots planted before determining prices. Also, I think at this point they need to worry about '09 before even thinking about developing the mall in '10.
  11. In the maps following Tatsu's opening, there was a train going through an inversion as well as the sky tower that really hindered what happened behind them, ie paths to gold rusher and ninja, countless shops etc. The news maps are a huge improvement for the park(s) and with the Q-bot they will be even better!
  12. Fantastic! I do not know much about FPI MB Entertainment but it sounds like they are really eagered to get the park moving again. If the park was to officially be sold on Feb 20, that would give them 92 days to rework the offices, names of park and attractions and work out things like employment and prices. Overall though I think that it is really healthy that the park was bought as a whole instead of in parts. Hopefully FPI will log on to TPR and consider some of the new themes as well as learn from HRPs management errors!! Thanks sccoasterfan for letting us know!
  13. Alright, here is the final product I can deliver at this point. Midterms and projects and all the stresses of college have not allowed me to finish this the way I intended so it is still pumpy in places and Im sorry. Perhaps in the future I will remake the coaster using No Limits tools to really smooth the coaster out. I think it has potential to be a really quality coaster, but at this point in time I have to throw in the towel. Its been built by hand not using a single add on tool, and has taken forever. Thanks for downloading and sorry that I have to retire the project this way. I FORGOT TO LOWER THE TRAIN COUNT TO TWO, BEFORE YOU RIDE THE COASTER MAKE SURE TO LOWER THE COUNT TO TWO. WITH THREE YOU WILL STOP AT MCBR. Ba'ate'el Final.nlpack
  14. Pokepark it is! What is Walt Disney's middle name? rating 3
  15. ^Thanks, and I agree that the dense structure will hide the concrete a lot better than scream, but still on that first turn they built where are the bents are no places, I have to imagine that you have to notice the slab then. Maybe they will put terminator things there.
  16. I don't know if you started this coaster awhile ago and took pictures alone the way, but past off of post times you are FLYING through the trackwork! It looks great too. Can't wait to see the name and themeing!
  17. Looks great Jahan, thanks for the update! I know the concrete slab is more cost efficient and is easier for construction, but is anything going to happen to it to make it look better? I know Six Flags likes to put rides over parking lots, but maybe they've moved past that and are ready to make rides look good. Coaster looks awesome, a big ole' concrete slab does not.
  18. Awesome, my favorite time of year is coming up! Midterm season! The only thing thats going to get me through this is the thought of theme parks over spring break.
  19. Of course! 7 foot blizzard in 2003! Do you enjoy drinking Red Bull slash Monster?
  20. You definitely have a great update here and it really shows off the progression and power of HRRR but also Harry Potter Land. ^I agree that he has some fantastic shots of the ride and some never-before-seen shots as well. But if you don't mind my asking, what is DCA? I feel like I am going to feel real stupid when you tell me, but I can't come up with anything.
  21. I agree with both DBru and the Ghost, another coaster would be a great addition to the park. How about this for an idea, you remake Drachen Fire!!! That would be awesome and would be a very realistic addition to the park.
  22. You can read all about the soon to be Harry Potter land over at screamscape. Scroll to the bottom of the page and you can see a pretty good description of what it will be like. Though it does not shed details on what the rides will be, what happens with unicorn and the dragons, it does give a pretty good feel of what it will be like! http://www.screamscape.com/html/islands_of_adventure.htm
  23. This park sounds like the ultimate mix of thrills and fun rides. Commenting on the dueling coasters, the video on the Universal site says that it will be themed to Battlestart Galactica featuring a suspended and sit down coaster. In my opinion, this will either be a really cool concept or it will miss the mark completely. One of the coasters is supposed to have inversions, loops, etc while the other is supposed to be more hilly and, for lack of a better word, turny. So we have a dueling inverted and sitdown with one doing loops and the other just coasting. So I say again, I think this will either be hit or miss because of the nature of the coasters and the dueling. Regardless, the park seems to be a mix of IOA and US which should make for a unique park experience. Can't wait to see this park further along in construction.
