That is the best news ever! I'll be there in like 3 days and I was really nervous it was going to be down. Lets just hope it stays open! -

What is everyones opinion on Silver Bullet? I really don't think it looks that bad of a ride and I am looking forward to riding it in a couple days, but is it good? -

^The water gets thrown in those "v" shapes which would hit riders, which would without doubt hurt quite badly. Still though, it would be cool if you could get the riders wet, but I am sure they want the wetness to be a voluntary thing. -
Track Spottings!

Xcelerator was built specifically to see how the new hydraulic motor will work for top thrill. Intamin didn't know how the system would work on that large of a scale so they teamed up with CF to build another model to see how it all worked, hence the birth of Xcel. -
^Ya, but I think any roller coaster junkie loves that roar. Not saying that the new "quieter" coasters are bad, but I am sure that the neighbors got tired of it after awhile. Hence why the tracks get filled with sand now, but I am not completely sure this coaster has sand in the tracks. Thanks for the video, it was great seeing it that close! How is the rest of the construction site looking? Is the ocean getting bigger, and the main walk area pored?

Track Spottings!

I'm going back to what I said I dont even know how many pages ago. Screamscape reported back before this last years IAAPA that B&M was set to release a new type of coaster to the public at the event. As we all know that never happened, no new coaster type was released. BUT, Cedar Point has always been a world record park making the first this, the biggest that, the tallest that. So I don't think it is too big of a stretch to think that just perhaps the yellow track is for here. Empirically, they have been adding coasters on a 2-3 year interval over the past decade and all their coasters have been firsts, leading me to believe that the track could in fact go here. That is just my two cents though. -
Thanks for the patients everyone, I got through my business midterm and killed it! Cool thing is, most of my remaining classes got canceled so I will be able to spend tomorrow busting the rest of the cross ties done and then finally start on making all the little squares! Thanks again for waiting, this is going to be sweet! Here is my "study guide" for midterms, paid off real well! Who needs to balance balance sheets and make profit and loss statements when you want to own a theme park in the future haha? Certainly not I! The track is going 3D, as I have started making the squares. Each piece is hand cut and placed, because they are all kind of different. Hope you like it so far, I'll get one more update tomorrow (Don't hold me to it), before I go on spring break to LA! Thanks for checking out! See how excited I am over mini Intamin goodness! I tried not to think of the curtains.

But doesn't it seem a little early to be tearing the place apart for a ride "set" to open a year from now? I mean, the park does open soon, why tear apart your nice island right now? -

Ugh..midterms. Is it spring break yet? How is everyone elses midterms going?

^I think you have to be someone correct. I cannot imagine that they wheel it in and lift it up because there is going to be supports and controls beneath the station. I would like to think that we can't see something and that it would be easy for install or already installed. It will be interesting to see how it all gets finished.

Mirabilandia Discussion Thread

What attaches off the back of the supports, or in some cases just on the support? You can see in the previous pictures that there are still places that "other supports" will connect. Is it themeing or just more joints for other sections of track to attach? -

I noticed the supports were different than the usual round intamin supports, is this a new feature we can expect to see more or is it just a park request?
