Kanonen fails!!
themeparkman25 replied to Loefet's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You said in the original post that it had happened many times on TTD, I am only aware of one stall on top? How many times has it happened on TTD? About the friction wheels though, of all the thousands of launches that happen on the accelerator coasters daily the stall on top doesn't happen that much and I am not sure it is worth the hassle financially and mechanically to stop something that isn't to common. Still though, I wouldn't mind seeing that launch speed being picked up a little. -

I feel like this coaster should have some millennium flyers instead of ptc's. Looks good though from what you posted, and fun. -

^ Ya that is explains how to merge well, but it doesn't explain how to make a working transfer track (or the turntable in the thomas town case). I think that was what he meant to ask. -

Sorry for resurrecting a dead thread, but I got into the program! Has anyone else heard anything? (^) Did you reapply? -

Where does Goliath (Walibi World) rate on your favorite coasters? Great TR's by the way, can't wait to see what other parks you visit. -
Wooden Coaster Challenge

^I thought that was pretty good! I liked the airtime on it and all the hills but I did not like the tightness of some of the helixes (high lats) and I really really did not like that hill going into the station. Good job, I know I am not a judge but I still wanted to voice my opinion. -

A thousand times better, and it probably helped with the forces as well. Good job, keep it up! -

^Alright, I want you to spend a solid 6 months of your life working with copper wiring, tiny sheets of balsa wood, google maps (not even earth), and a lot of super glue to produce a scale model of SheiKra, Top Thrill and Insane and then tell me that. I wasn't referring to NL, I'll take heat all day about hot to make them better, but when you spend that much time working with your hands to produce something not many people do, and I would bet you have not done that either, it still isn't very fun to hear your project sucks. You can see all the pictures of my models here and then enlighten me about that again. -

Ha, its cool, just trying to help you out if at all possible. Also, it always seems to help me to ride the coasters in the back to see how the train moves to detect pumps or unnatural movements. Keep working with this track though, I think it is a pretty cool one. -

What do the stats on the zero-g roll look like? I can't tell if it is heartlined or not. Besides that, it looks really good. -

Sounds like every one of your "favorites" is at that park, but it does offer quite some sweet thrills. On that picture of raptor into the final brake run where you say it can be a rough transition, look at all that bird poop on the support! Great pictures though, looks like you had a nice day even with the weather. -

I was just wondering, not pointing out that you should change that or anything. The entry looks nice, it is just a collection of rides at this point though. Keep it up! -

^I swear the day you say more positive things than negative things (whether tips how they should build their parks like yours, or how something is always wrong), is the day that TPR closes. Unbelievable. I, on the other hand, think this park has a ton of potential and I am loving what you have so far. -

What will the theme be on the park? I like shiva much more now and the supports are much better for sure, IMO of course. I think the spinning coaster is a hair short and the sub ride is oddly placed, but other than that the park looks good. Can't wait to see more updates. -
This is probably me just being a first timer on one of these trips, but where do you start for these trips? Say I am in Denver and I am doing the UK/Germany and Italy trip, where do I meet the group? And would the Italy Germany add on trip include Blue Fire and iSpeed? Im really looking forward to my first TPR trip and all the sweet euro coasters I haven't been on!!! 2010 can't come soon enough.

Here are some pictures of the Flying Coaster. The ride is sitting alone in the corner completely fenced off from any and all activity. The q looks like it is currently being used as dining services for VIP's or whatever, and other parts of the ride are being used to store signs, benches etc. There are however still two trains completely assembled in the station whereas the remaining 6 or how many ever are completely stripped sitting in the bone yard behind twister. I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures, I snapped them running into work. That was a joke, the whole loving volares thing...get it? Signs and stuff. I seriously love zamperlas and volares. They are the single reason I wake in the morning. The High Flying Dining center! Station with a couple trains.

^Haha that was pretty funny. I agree though. Who cares about the name though, seriously? It should be what is inside the park? For example, I came up with Six Flags Magic Mountain, that shouldn't make whats inside any less "cool" just because its not original.
