I would ride all three Giant Cyclone Safety Coasters, the Aeroplane, the Cyclone at Riverside Park when it first opened, the Mauch Chunk Scenic Railway, all the Flying Turns, the Revolution BEFORE the OTSR's, Thriller, The Beast (before the added trims), The Rattler (before the reprofiling), the Extremeroller, the Riverview Bobs, Colossus when it opened, the Coney Island Cyclone when it opened, the Switchback Railway at Coney Island, the Flip-Flap and the Loop-the-Loop, the Cyclone Racer, The Bat at PKI, TTD with the themeing, and Weiner Looping. And, of course, attempt to get POV of all of them! That would be a sweet DVD.

I showed the Meteos opening video to a friend, and he said, "WTF? The DS has really good graphics!" I love that game.

I love this game. It is almost impossible to describe to anyone (I refer to it as "Tetris on crack") and it is so fun! I got my copy Sunday and I already unlocked Dawndus and Hevendor. I learned to play on my friend's DS, but my copy is great (partially because it's mine). Favorite moment: On Hevendor, clearing the entire screen and hearing three novas in rapid succession. What's your favorite planet/item/moment on Meteos?

Has anyone else noticed that Red Falcon (the "BIG ROLLER COASTER" at Hirakata) has an odd cross-bracing? The design seems to be banked on the running rails, but the bits connecting the vertical cross-braces to the spine are horizontal.[/img] See?

Wrong. There is one way to make the loop over the station, and it does not involve track merging. Split the boomerang, and add a 1/4 turn in between the inversions. Adjust the heights so the loop can go over the station. Then add another 1/4 turn to make the spikes parallel. It looks unrealistic, but the loop does go over the station.

Still at camp. I will take requests for styles of coasters for my "not-really-a-park-but-actually-a-bunch-of-coasters-clumped-together".

So I add lots of scenery. "That building looks like a jail. Add windows." So I do. "Add supports to that coaster." So I do. "Those supports are not realistic." So I go bang my head against a wall for a while, then inquire into the nature of the unreality. "Too many supports." I take out some. "Too few." I add some. "That color scheme is ugly." I change the color scheme. "That one is ugly too." I change the colors again. "Better, but add more windows to the station." I don't, because the station contains pre-lift madness that is supposed to be taken in the dark. "Less coasters." What are you, Shapiro? "Add more flatrides." Why? RCT2 flats are unrealistic. "That flat space is ugly." So? It takes too long to landscape. "You can't just throw a bunch of coasters together and call it a park." Yes I can. Look at Fantasy Island in the UK. "Why didn't you add windows to the building?" Because it's a tunnel. There's a hole in the bucket...
