I can't get over how awesome that sign looks. It's better than the ride. I'd queue just to look at that sign. Good to see how fast everything's going up. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

It's good to see an actual prop at SFMM. That hasn't happened in a while, has it?

I doubt number one is real. If it is, whoever creates their videos needs a slap on the wrist for using Windows Movie Maker.

This topic is so Australian it hurts me.

In July we're off to Cali for another typical tourist holiday. Disneyland, etc etc, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, typical boring stuff. Then, of course, I'm diverting my family to SFMM so I can try out Terminator and Tatsu, and check out whatever new stuff has been added since '03. I might force them to SFDK for some credits. Probably missing out Knott's this time. Anyone been to Legoland? Is it worth the drive down from LA?

Some of those photos are amazing! I'm loving the close-ups. Nice look inside the station at the theming, too. The wheelchair entrance made me laugh.

My "local" park is four hours away and has 3 coasters. So... Once a year at most. In comparison I go overseas to visit parks about once every two years, so I have to be reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeallllly bored to want to go to Rainbow's End.

I normally go with my brother, and neither of us have ever really screamed. I go "Yeah!!" if something amazing is happening but usually we're silent and we exchange looks as the ride goes on.

I actually thought the theme was a joke at first. Not a fan. The idea of the "comic book" station sounds pretty awesome though, I'm curious as to how that'll turn out.

I'm the kind of person that would bitch if there weren't seatbelts. I have this irrational fear of the restraints popping open, and there's no way a seatbelt can malfunction But I can see what you mean from a loading point of view. I was looking at my '03 map the other day and wondering why Scream was surrounded by trees and grass These maps look a lot more professional.

Superman Escape at Movie World, a couple of months ago. Mmmm...

I rode Ghostrider back in... '03, and I don't think I found it too rough. But then again, I was pretty young so it could have been terrible and I don't remember it. I remember being afraid of getting mugged in the Ghost Town area of the park though.

Luna Park! It opens and closes every ten minutes.
