  1. Yes, enjoyed the fried Mac and Cheese greatly Have you even found $10 or more on the ground?
  2. We got lucky and our first ride was at night during the rain. So it was basically completely dark and flying around the track. The next morning, we rode it during ERT and it was good but nothing amazing. Seems to only be great at certain times. Had it not been for Diamondback and Flight of Fear, I would agree with you on the whole park being a letdown coaster wise.
  3. Yep, had to do something to pass the time at summer session at college. Have you even watched The Adventures of Pete & Pete?
  4. My dreams tend to be the same. An example of what they are like A go into a diner. I see a older waitress that ask for my order. I order 1 burger with cheese old. It arrives 15 minutes later. I take a bit, go "wow that is good," finish my meal and pay. As boring as it is, that is my dreams.
  5. My land lord own the apartments we live in as well as the business under them. Well, they decided to paint the roof of the building below ours today. Which is fine, except his staff choose not to take the 10 minutes to call all 5 apartments. It has now smelled like paint for 6 hours and due to being an apartment, has zero air flow. I have no blame on the landlord as once we called him, he drove here to yell at people. Apparently the painters choose not to open the for door of the business to vent it and guess where the fumes go. That's right, straight up.
  6. A couple pop into my head Millennium Force - The view going up the lift is cool and the first drop is fun. After that, the ride was just boring. Not a bad ride, but not great either. Raging Bull - The first drop is amazing. The trims just kill it and it is getting rough this season. Racer at Kings Island - I have no idea where any ACE love from this comes. I found the red side to be a little rough and the blue side to just hurt. The did absolutely nothing for me other then look nice.
  7. I am planning my first Universal day when I'm in Orlando on August 10th. Looking more and more likely it is getting closer to that day being around opening day.
  8. The music, the entire 25 plus minute song, has been playing all summer in the que. The speaker is by the tunnel before the lift hill. You can even hear it going up the lift hill.
  9. ^ The train work on the Demon has done wonders. The new OTSR was a massive improvement over the old ones. Nice to see an old Arrow get some love.
  10. ^ The Rangers are no longer a team that just has to hope to out slug the other team. Now their pitching is at least ok. And their deference is good, unlike last year when it was just bad. It is nice to see that 4 of the 5 divisions have 3 teams within 5 games. Should be a fun August and September.
  11. Always nice to see the best player in baseball get more press. Albert Pujols should be a joy to watch here.
  12. So I keep hearing Roy Halliday and Scott Rolen to Chicago White Sox for Gordon Beckman, a starting OF and more pitching prospects....
  13. ^ I hear you on the cleanest park part. The employees do there best there and amazing job. Just can't help people are 2 feet from trash cans and refuse to make that effort. Oh, on the concert, get there at opening for a wrist band. For the concert last week, Jesse McCartney, the wrist bands were apparently sold out by time I was there at 4. Not that I wanted one (or even knew there was a concert that day) but just a heads up as there are something like 4 bands that day.
  14. SF Great America for the morning today for a few hours.
  15. ^ The article from espn.com was written horribly. Took me a couple time to realize he was the employee. At first I thought an employee and the football player were hurt. Get well wishes to him. Seems FL theme park are having a bad run of luck recently.
  16. from ESPN http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=4339343
  17. ^ While I have not been to Dollywood, i have rode those types of ride. The MF trains are like riding giant couches. And the Eurofighter at the Mall of America was no problem. I am 5'7 with a 42 inch waste and had no problems.
  18. Same problem happened to me at Cedar Point and ValleyFair! with my AP from Kings Island. For Cedar Point, they just waved me on in because of the CoasterMania items. With Valleyfair, we had to sign in at Guest Services each day (after having to explain the problem to the workers.)
  19. Down to 2 weeks until I leave for Walt Disney World!!!! Not only will I get to do the Disney parks, but also both Universal park. Plus it is time to look at places to live for next year
  20. ^ The Logger's Run on-ride photo is up. I completely forgot about that one.
  21. After riding SpongeBob at the Mall of America for a day, I agree. Even after 5 rides, my shoulders had the beautiful looks of a cat that went nuts scratching my shoulders.
  22. Best - B&M Flyers, B&M Hyper & Millennium Flyers Worst Hopkins OTSR on The Dragon at Adventureland - Not only is it an awful ride, but the restraints are like rock. I could just beat my head on the wall for 45 seconds for the same effect. And this was in the front to, I could only imagine the back and those poor, poor souls.
  23. Viper's is up, unsure of Ragin Cajun.
  24. Oh, forgot one other update. They have designated Car 5 on all the Demon trains for Flash Pass. The que for the rows (row 9 and 10 overall) were closed off for this reason. If there is no one in the Flash Pass row, the op in the back tries to find people for the two rows.
  25. Viper is hit or miss. Some days it runs amazing, some days not so much. Some times the back is the way to go, other times any row is fine.
