JZ's Ongoing Kings Island Update Thread!
BDG replied to PKI Jizzman's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This uninspired fountain thing should be dark blue or grey. It's so tacky now. And the Eiffel Tower should be brown. Firehawk on the other hand is looking great. Nice updates. -

There was something similar at Spree-Park (Berlin), which I rode. It's more a quick jump than actual airtime. Feels a bit like one of the little hills on a typical wild mouse. -

Can you guys see this ? http://www.vekoma.com/rides_fam_attractions/madhouse/Madhouse%20Six%20Flags%20Holland_big.wmv It's a very nice promotional video for the Mad House ride, filmed at "Merlin's Magic Castle" at Walibi World (formerly Six Flags Holland). -
Feeling sorry for the victim of an accident is normal. You don't need 50 times the same "OMG. That's sick. I feel sorry for the woman and her family." to realise that. I want to know what exactly went wrong, what caused it, if it can happen to other coasters and what Togo (and other manufactuers) can do about it. And I also want to know why is their a guardrail alongside the entire track or nearly every Japanese coaster ? Without that fence / guardrail, the woman probably wouldn't have hit her head.

Very nice. I don't understand why the record parks like Magic Mountain, Cedar Point and Great Adventure don't have rides like this. Not even a simple mouse. The cheapest rides to crank up their records... -

Can't somebody (Robb ??) edit the thread title ? Furious Baco -> Furius Baco -
Ride Construction Service operates in all of Europe, not just Germany. They have all the equipment needed to construct a big (or small) ride, as well as the knowledge and experience to do so. Lots of ride manufacturers and parks hire them to construct their latest rides. And regarding that carnie comment, it's actually founded by "a carnie". Thanks for the update.

Dubailand is not a theme park. Alot of people compare it to Disneyland, because of the name, but it's nothing more than a huge expansion of the city of Dubai. That's why it's named Dubailand. The land of Dubai. What lies beyond the city. Most of the Dubailand area is reserved for housing, lots of hotels and resorts, sports arenas, golf courses, recreation, musea and night life. Lots of malls, shops and stores as well. There are theme park projects within, but nothing finalised as far as I know.

I really liked Main Basse sur la Joconde at Parc Astérix. Perfect mix of art, comedy, action, story, stunts, explosions, etc. -
Well, the original Hulk was gray... But ask a thousand people what color the Hulk has, not many will say gray.

Photo TR: Divv's Disneyland Resort Paris Adventure
BDG replied to Divv3k's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Let's rephrase it then... Song of the South is barely known in non-English countries. Characters from it have appeared in comic books though. But the movie itself, release in 1950, is not. But does that matter anyway ? I mean, have ALL visitors of Disneyland seen every single movie some rides are based on ?
