  1. Take the blue line metro all the way to Largo Town Center (The End of the Blue Line) then take a 10 minute bus ride that stops directly in front of SFA. Be careful though, that area of the county is pretty rough. Highly suggest go during the day and return during day light. One time we left the park at dusk and we saw a man, walking along the road in front of SFA with a hand gun hanging out of his pants. In broad daylight (Well...dusk light?). The point of the matter was...it was visible. Scary. EDIT: Sorry CoastersNSich, I totally skipped the second page, you got it right with the directions.
  2. Honestly? I hate them. Im not paying extra money to skip the lines. Especially when at SFA they will fill an entire train with fast pass riders during one train operation on a hot, crowded summer day. Or when they let people choose any seat instead of the fast pass reserved seat and then one after the other the people keep taking the seat your waiting for. Especially at the front. A 3 train wait eventually turns in to 6 or 7.
  3. How about... "Be Kind, Please Rewind!"
  4. I like this ride a lot. Good thing to see it saved. Unfortunatley it has a bad track record. Maybe Vekoma will install some sort of anti... if-the-train-valleys-after-the-vertical-loop-something-will-pull-it-back-up-the-spike-so-that-it-doesn't-have-to-be-disassembled-and-then-reassembled-in-the-station (to be said as one word ) mechanism... At least that's what I was told by someone, that if it valleys anywhere it shouldn't, that the train has to be disassembled and then reassembled in the station. Can someone verify? Oh, when it was being installed at SFGAm, it wasn't opened until Oct! And I believe they started in the very beginning of the off season too. So, I guess only time will tell. lol anywho best luck to them with this mechanical nightmare.
  5. Hmm... Very Nice! I wonder what kinda of restraints it's going to have.
  6. I passed by PKD about a week ago and we pulled off the high way just to see some Dominator construction, and XLC was still in place. No cranes or de-construction looked like it was occurring.
  7. SFA... It's between Superman: ROS and Jokers Jinx. I could ride both for hours.
  8. Ugh just another pointless low capacity single slide. We need some sort of slide complex like Geagua Lake has. Or some sort of coaster...It's been 7 years! And they're all broken anyways. Sorry SFA, KD gets my Season Pass this year.
  9. Ewwww. Thats so nasty. Especially after my school just had a Staph outbreak.
  10. Smoker And I hate the people that purposely cough when they walk past the smoking section or past you on the sidewalk. If you don't like my smoking, walk on the other side of the street.
  11. Now the top half of this makes it almost look 85.
  12. Ha! Easy. I spend more time processing and purchasing my season pass than that. Piece of cake!
  13. Hmm...I see the pretzel element from Speed Monster. Sweeeeeeeeet.
  14. Production in Pittsburgh eh? Kennywood anyone?
  15. Apparently the people over on CoasterBuzz have "inside" sources (Not dippin dots workers, but mechanics & managers) that are all saying Maverick-esque clone. I'm saying this now, I'll believe it when I see it. Also, Perfect Ten is surfing lingo...Larger wave pool anyone?
  16. 25 cents says that Six Flags will close all 2nd Generation Intamin free falls for a prolonged period of time. Possibly, I'm not saying they are, just saying they probably will. (Think Premier LIM coaster shut down last year)
  17. Oh my god, this is something straight out of Final Destination... This is very very unfortunate, and unbelievable. w00t! 1000 post. Sad topic, but 1000th post
  18. Hands down Cedar Point Then Six Flags Great Adventure Then Six Flags Magic Mountain
  19. Hmm none that I can think of off the top of my head. Mean Streak was pretty bad, Wild Cat pre-MF trains was really bad. Thats all I can think of right now.
  20. Good TR. That was possibly one of the nicest carnivals I've seen in a while. The best carnival I went to was the Worlds Fair in Hong Kong in 2002 (I think it was '02, lol). It had an inverted mouse coaster (yes like on RCT), A Wile Mouse (Zamperla), one other large portable coaster and then the kiddie coaster. Plus plenty of flats.
  21. Holy Crap...Why does it look so much taller than all the other CCI coasters? Yet its only 100 feet. Hmm maybe im just weird.
  22. Wow, Silver Dollar City is...REALLY nice! I never have really taken the time to look through pictures of this park. The food looks amazing. Oh and was that the XL Version of the Disk-O or the regular?
  23. Two - Face at SFA Is usually smooth. A little jerk here and there in the cobra roll but nothing worth giving a headache. Batwing at SFA is smooth for the most part. The loop has to be the worst, the vibrations make your spine hurt pretty bad but the rest of the ride is smooth. Then theres Mind Eraser at SFA which is horribly rough. It all depends on the model I guess.
  24. What the heck?! This also happened at my school too. I was in class and my teacher wanted us to write letters to VA Tech with our condolences. My teacher walked up to this kid who's paper was blank and asked him "You don't have any feelings towards this tragedy?" He replied "No, those people all deserved what they got, they all should have died" My teacher immediately reported him to the office and they arrested him that same period. It sucks sooooo much how horrible this world is coming to. Now if this were to happen at SeaWorld? Sheesh thats just a shame.
  25. LOL! Sorry, but for unexplainable reasons that have to do with no sexual activity I've heard the word cock about 5 different times today... But this one made my day.
